Need yellow flavorful meat? Try Marina Doohov tomato. From the same breeder who gave us Blue Pear Eugenia and a few others, this tomato is visually appealing with super taste. This Ukrainian variety has it all! An oxheart, you will not be disappointed when you grow these out. In addition, it will turn heads in your garden. When sliced, Marina Doohov is almost all meat with very few cavities and seeds. We had to work hard to preserve seeds for offering. Salsa Pomodoro Tomato.
One of the best sauce tomatoes you will every find, Salsa Pomodoro tomato makes thick, rich and sweet sauce, that will blow you way! The end result reminds me of Amish Paste, but these were even better for me! You don't even have to try and your sauce will still taste great! I planted some Mushroom Basket tomatoes one year and this red variant came up. Nice sized, heavily ruffled tomatoes are eye-catching. A few more trial runs and here we are! These seem to be pretty stable. They never varied at any point. Sweet, with a medium-firm texture, they make great salsa, fresh and cooked, too! Plants have excellent disease resistance and are about 5 feet tall. Very nice production. Try these, you'll love them! -
Foxnose tomato is a first time grow-out for us in 2018. We were very pleased who the results. True to the oxheart family, this variety produces very tasty, deep yellow oxhearts. They will keep you eating all season long. Many of our fruits are over 16 ounces but they averaged between 10-12. Vines are skinny and tall and loaded from bottom to top. This variety is very clean and crack-free, an advantage if you want to sell them. Foxnose tomatoes in your garden or on your tomato stand will turn heads. These are great for sandwiches, sauces, snacking and more. Tasty and memorable! -
African Beefsteak Tomato
A true taster, African Beefsteak tomato is a full flavored variety that veers on the sweeter side. More mild than strong, this variety would be a great addition to any beefsteak garden. Fruits are 10-16 ounces. Plants produce plenty, but not prolifically. Disease resistance is very good and plants are about five to six feet tall.. These make great sandwiches and slicing tomatoes. Amber Keyes Tomato
A beautiful sight to see, Amber Keyes tomato plants produce huge clusters of the most beautifully colored, greenish/yellowish fruits! True to its multiflora genes, our plants produced many clusters of more than 50 fruits, that were sweet, inviting and juicy. I especially liked that they were relatively early producers. These were transplanted in early May and we got our first ripened fruits on July 7th. Get ready for tons and tons of pear shaped cherry sized fruits! You will be amazed! Rose Quartz Multiflora Tomato
Roze Quartz Multiflora tomato is a high producing, cherry variety. Clusters of rose pink fruits often exceed 50 and begin to ripen about 75 days after transplant. Isis Candy tomato is a popular cherry variety that is totally worth growing. A regular member of my annual grow-outs, Isis is very willing to please. Beautiful, nickel to quarter sized fruits never stop coming until season's end. Vines are tall and productive. Fruits are sweet and juicy, with a little tang. Don't think that this is just a pretty tomato that's over-hyped! Chocolate Stripes is a beautiful, dark-bi-color fruit, that is so beautiful you may mistake it for a tropical fruit. Taste is superb, rich and juicy. Vines are 5-6 feet tall and hardy. They produce plenty of oblate, 4-6 ounce fruits that ripen at about the 75 day mark. Perfect slicer for sandwiches, garnishing, unique sauce, fresh eating of the vine and drying. There are so many things that you can do with these! -
Silver Queen Okra is a highly desirable, heirloom okra that has quickly grown in popularity. Until about a few years ago, not many people grew this variety. As a sauce tomato, Jersey Giant tomato absolutely shines. Don't take my word for it, try a few. Three inch elongated fruits are firm, sweeter and have few seeds. They make some of the thickest spaghetti sauce on the planet. Vines are not too tall and are determined to produce. They begin ripening fruits about 80 days after transplant. Also good for drying for tomato flakes! Great as fried green tomatoes! -
I am so fond of Striped Roman tomato variety that I grow it as often as I could. It's a sauce maker and salsa specialist that can be used in many ways. These are perfect even when green. They make the best green pickled tomatoes And fit perfectly in jars. Striped Roman tomatoes are sweet, meaty and flavorful. They make fantastic tomato sauce, and are also perfect for salads, cooking, canning, fresh salsa and more. In fact for two consecutive years they won the best salsa contest at our local farmers market, by two different chefs. Don't be surprised if you decide to grow this beautiful tomato every year. Dwarf Russian Swirl tomato comes highly recommended by ME! I first tried these out in the winter of 2015, growing them in buckets and under light. They did so well that I once again tried it on the farm that summer. It was a smash it once more. Dwarf Russian Swirl vines are about 4 feet tall and bear some of the prettiest slicers that you would ever see. They begin to ripen about 75 days after transplant and continue all the way till frost. Fruits are fruity, sweet, juicy and delicious. Let them ripen well and you will be blessed with a beautiful treat! I planted these and did not pay them any attention until I saw the most beautiful, heart shaped fruits. Eager to know what they were, I quickly looked at to tags which read "Beauty Queen Heart tomato". This gem is definitely worth growing in any tomato garden. 6 ounce, red and yellow bi-color fruits, grow in clusters of 4 or 5 and keep coming all season long. Our vines grew about 6 feet tall in direct sunlight and produced plenty of fruits that will turn heads. Texture is very smooth and fruit-like. It's a great tomato for slicing in salads, garnishing, fresh eating, cooking and more. Very nice aroma too when well ripened! -

Gigant Farina Tomato
Need big? You've got it right here! Just look at the images and you will know that Giant Farina tomato is the real deal! Sweet and flavorful fruits can weigh 2.5 pounds with many being over 2 pounds. Our plants were around 5 feet tall and produced well for such a large fruited variety. These were a little later to ripen but totally worth the wait. I made some fine tomato sauce with these. I also made super sandwiches. Giant Farina is sweeter and forward tasting. I think its best uses would be sauce, sandwiches and cooking. But do with it whatever you wish. I'm sure it will be fine!! -
One of the greener slicers that we grow, I am so happy that it comes on a dwarf vine. Plants are about 4 feet tall and hardy and have rugose potato leaves. They begin to ripen their fruits about 85 days after transplant Boasting a balanced, full flavored taste, this is a tomato that you could do anything with. Dwarf Mystic Lady Tomato
Easily in my top 3 dwarf varieties for 2019, Dwarf Mystic Lady tomato will remain a staple in our gardens. 6-10 ounce fruits are a very pretty shade of pink and are sweeter with some beautiful complimentary flavors. Texture is smooth! A nice tomato experience! Our plants were about 3 feet tall and produced plenty fruits. These are perfect snackers, for sandwiches, on a platter/garnish and things along that line. Expect you first ripened fruits around day 75! In smaller gardens or containers, Dwarf varieties tend to will do well. -
Cuostralee may not often be listed as a great sauce tomato but it is. That may mostly be due to the fact that it's such an excellent beefsteak. Still on my top rated list, Cuostralee tomato will rock your world no matter how you decide to use it. Huge, weighty fruits can reach 1.5 pounds . Vines produce plenty of perfect, crack-free fruits. This is the classic "way back" tomato! Cuostrale is rich, balanced, sweeter, meaty, aromatic and much more. Everything about this tomato is all good! Make yourself a some really good tomato sandwiches and spaghetti sauce! -
Looking for a beautiful, high-producing variety, that makes surprisingly great sauce? Try Marinade Garnier Rouge tomato. Vines produce bounties of pretty red fruits, that are great for sandwich making, sauce. It works well as a stand alone snacker, slicing and even garnishing. Red, ribbed fruits can reach one pound, but most average around 10-14 ounces. ours came in a bit late, at 85 days, but they were well worth the wait. Once they started coming they never stopped. As far as taste, these have very good balance, nice rich flavor that borders on the sweet side. A must grow! -
Golden King Of Siberia tomato is a very tasty oxheart variety. They ripen to a really soft yellow about 80 days after transplant. Plants have the signature wispy leaves and are really good with diseases. Tomatoes are about 6-16 ounces. Sweeter and mild with lots of flesh, this is the perfect choice for those wanting a milder tomato. Great for sandwiches, slicing and salsas. It's attractive and does well at the market too! Plants should be staked well and early. Great selection if you are a vendor because it's prolific and tasty. This is one that I would recommend for any tomato garden! -
A very interesting and unique squash that comes in a variety of shapes, Tromboncinos can weigh in excess of 10 pounds. They very often look like works of art because the shapes can be very abstract and curvy. Vines produce many squash which can be harvested at any time. They can also be left on the vine until Fall then over-wintered for many months for cooking. It's an Italian variety that is great for grilling or even sliced in salads. I like them sauteed. Finger lickin' good! -
I grew Blue Keyes tomato for the first time in 2018 and it's going to be on my list again for 2019. This time I will be taking them to the market. Tiny antho, cherry fruits, are so uniquely colored that they always turn heads. In addition, they are perfect little pear shaped things. Bottom ends are a mix of green, orange and some antho striping that is like a work of art. Blue Keyes taste good too! They are somewhat earthy, acidic with sweet undertones and on the mild side. These are perfect for canning, dehydrating, salads, garnish, fresh salsa and more. But the way I enjoy them best is right off the vine on a cool morning. These will also grow well in larger containers. Try a 4-5 gallon size or larger! Go for it! -
Dwarf Whereokowhai Tomato
One of my favorites for 2020 Dwarf Whereokowhai tomato was really surprising and satisfying. 2.5-3 feet tall plants, these produced so many fruits that I was eating every time I walked by the plants. Fruits were sweet and fruity with plenty richness. When sliced, Whereokowhai is a sight to behold! A beautiful marbling of yellows and pinks will really turn your head. Hardy, tree-like plants. 75-80 days from transplant.Good choice for container of small space growing! -
Date Fruit Tomato
Date Fruit tomato is a wonderful find for us this year. This wonder firm cherry variety makes a great keeper. Semi Determinate plants produce massive amounts of sweet yellow cherries. Our tersely each had 10-20 fruits on them. These plants never stop going, producing fruits that had long keeping life after harvest. Date fruit is a salad lover's dream. Sliced or used whole in salads, the perk up everything. If you are a market vendor, this is perfect. Short plants are so productive that you will have a hard time harvesting them all, I did. Perfect also for canning, dehydrating or just snacking in the garden. I ate a lot while working. A must try! -

Gary'O Sena Tomato
Blessed with outstanding flavor and super production, Gary'O Sena is a beautifully blended combination of Brandywine and Cherokee Purple, its parents. It's actually one of the best black tomatoes that I have tasted in a long time. Ours ripened pretty early too! Its breeder, Keith Mueller, did a wonderful job with this one! Potato leafed plants are huge producers of 6-14 ounce fruits that are clean and blemish-free. Perfect market variety if you are a vendor, and even more perfect for sandwiches! Even I, as a big tomato grower, has found it difficult to think about a lot of better black tomatoes. This is also an outstanding choice for sandwiches or just fresh eating. One of my top choices for 2020. If you haven't grown these, you must!
