Taste tomato is another winner by Fred Hempel of Artisan Seeds. Seriously, he is a top class breeder and I really respect that. I have grown mostly everything that he has created and they all have been excellent. Taste is a very beautiful red and yellow bicolor fruit that is elongated. It reminds me of Striped Roman, but with better overall taste. This is an excellent choice for any serious tomato grower. Vines are packed loaded with fruits and are also reasonably early. GWR Wild Thyme is a unique and flavorful tomato that has surprising taste appeal. Ripening to a beautiful green-brownish color, its insides are beautifully marbled with red and light minty green. Its vines are perhaps 6 feet tall and hearty. This tomato comes in a little bit late at 85 days but it will reward you with the perfect complement to sandwiches and salsa, and a great companion in the garden on a hot day. Al Kuffa Dwarf tomato is a mild fruit with plenty of good tomato taste. If you like red tomatoes but want less intensity this is a good choice. Its plants are short (perhaps 2.5 to 3 feet tall), and are always loaded with golf ball sized fruits. You can expect your first ripened fruits about 75 days after transplant. Stake these well.

Kellogg's Breakfast Tomato
Like its potato leaf sister KBX tomato, Kellogg's Breakfast tomato just as good. Slightly less productive than KBX, Kellogg's Breakfast is still the more popular of the two. This is a perfect main crop selection for market sales or bulk growing. Vines are hard working and are bound to produce for you. Fruits are about 16 to 24 ounces, meaty and good. They lean towards the sweet side but is more balanced than you would expect from a yellow tomato. Expect ripened fruits around the 85 day mark. Sandwich ready! -
Red Zebra tomato is a popular, ping pong ball size, bi-color red and yellow fruit. I always have great success whenever I grow these. When well ripened, Red Zebra tomato is milder, on the sweet side, and very juicy. Overall, it has good balance and taste appeal. 5 foot tall vines have have done well when sprayed with copper sulfate. They are quick to ripen their fruits. You can expect your first blush around 70 days. This tomato remains popular.

Brandywine Cherry Tomato is a high producing variety that totally caught me by surprise. Vibrant and recognizable potato leafed plants have deep green foliage and skinny, tall vines. They produced so many fruits that I just stopped harvesting them after a while. I just couldn't keep up with these. Between this variety, Porter (Charles Herring) and Piennolo Del Vesuvio, I just didn't have time to harvest anything else. They were all so prolific! Additionally, they taste very good. Large sized cherries are perfect for snacking, cooking, salads and more. Flavor is complete and balanced. A very pleasing experience with Brandywine Cherry. Nice multi-purposed variety. Definitely worth growing!

Cosmic Eclipse tomato is an average to larger sized cherry variety. It's also in the antho family. I wasn't sure what I would get when I grew these out, but I was game! Our vines produced prolifically and never really stopped until the weather got cooler at nights. Plants also showed good disease resistance, especially to early and late blight. Cosmic Eclipse is great for canning, salads, fresh eating, garnishing and so much more. It truly is an all purposed variety. Our market sales did well with these also. It's taste was also good for an antho. Will grow again! See it on YouTube!

Baby Aji Amarillo Pepper
One of my favorite peppers in 2020. Baby Aji Amarillo is a very tasty pepper with medium heat! Productive, short plants produce what seems like hundreds of 2 inch long, canary yellow fruits that are perfect for cooking, drying and fresh salsa. Ours were started ripening around the end of July. We planted them in early May. Make some great tomato powder and flakes too. Really nice flavor and not overwhelmingly hot! Try bring up a few, green or ripened. Nice! -

Monster Gum Peach Leopard Pepper
WARNING: HOT! Let me start by saying that this pepper is hot, hot, hot. What's great about this heat is that it's flavorful. Pretty 2 inch peppers are prolific and begin to ripen about 85 days after transplant. Plants have beautiful foliage and are about 2.5-3 feet tall in full sunlight. Fish Pepper
Being a Caribbean man, I really appreciate this pepper. Its heat is perfect for cooking some of my favorite dishes. I love to use them in my stews and soups. Fish pepper is an old African American heirloom that predates 1870. Plants have variegated white and green leaves. Peppers also display a similar multi-colored pigment, then turn bright red when ripened. The Scoville scale measures them at 5,000–30,000 SHU, which is hotter than a Jalapeño but still perfect for cooking delicious meals! Our 2 foot tall plants are always prolific and hardy, producing in any weather. These are great for pickling, making flakes, powder and more! -
Dwarf Round Robin Tomato
Just when you thought that you've seen it all, here comes Dwarf Round Robin tomato! This real cutie is also very tasty. Round Robin has some of the same colorings of Dwarf Audrey's Love. We grew out yellow dragon tomato for the first time in 2018. It was a pleasing experience. 5 feet tall plants produced prolifically and were still doing so at season's end. They produced 3-5 ounce, pale yellow fruits with top side, dark antho, that sometimes streaked down to their bottom ends. Fruits were mild and juicy with some fruity and sweet undertones. They definitely were head-turners in the garden and at farmer's market too. Our first fruits began to ripen about 76 days after being transplanted in the garden. Perfect for salads, platters/garnish, tomato juice, snacking and fresh salsa and market sales! A solid choice for your garden!

75 Days. If you are wanting to try something different in your garden, Chestnut Chocolate tomato may be the way for you to go. Tall vines produce tons of anthocyanin tomatoes that are dark on the top and chocolate colored in their bottom end. When fruits are ripened their bottom ends changes to a chocolate color. Feel a few and soon you will be a pro. This tomato has a fresh, earthy taste with a sweet finish. Great of salsa, fresh eating, slicing and drying, cooking and garnishing.

Buckeye State Tomato
Buckeye State tomato is my very first listing for our 2019/2020 season because it's the first variety to come to mind. This tomato, for me, is a memorable one. A beautiful and blemish-free beefsteak, I really appreciate its reliability. In a very difficult growing season, our plants never quit. They blew by any diseases, producing tons and tons of sweet and meaty fruits which reminded me of some of the top beefsteak varieties. These have very good texture, but not too juicy. Perfectly made for sandwiches or cooking. This is a really great choice for market vendors too. Fruits are about 8-14 ounces, plentiful and very desirable. -
75 Days. Raspberry Vikrant is a determinate variety that produces heavily. Smooth 5 to 8 ounce fruits, ripen to a tender pinkish red. Fruits are clean and blemish free. This, along with its nice flavor, makes it a good candidate for market vendors. Fruits are mildly sweet, juicy, with a slight acidic under-tone. Good for container growing!

This is an early variety was developed in Denmark and is noted for it's resistance to splitting. When ready, they can reach 3-4 pounds. This variety also has excellent fresh cabbage flavor. Copenhagen Market Cabbage is an early variety that matures around 65-75 days from transplant. Great for any cabbage dish, includine cloe slaw. Start seeds about 6 weeks before last frost and set them out early in spring when frost free! These can handle a little coldness.

65-70 Days. One of the earliest varieties to ripen, Red Siberian Tomato begins to blush about 68 days from transplant. As soon as they are planted in the ground, they get to work producing blooms and soon after fruits. This variety seems to do well in the cooler weeks of mid-spring. I always get early tomatoes with these. It is mild and juicy with food tomato flavor. A nice treat when everything else is yet to ripen.

70 Days. Purple Russian tomato is a variety that I have grown for the last 15 years and still do for my personal use. Delicious 2 inch elongated fruits, are purplish brown and have a delicious smokey flavor. Vines are wispy leaved and perhaps 4 feet tall. They produce until frost! You can expect your first ripened fruits around 70 days after transplant. Really good salsa tomato. Perfect for drying, sauce and slicing in salads too!

Grub's Mystery Green Tomato
Some people say that you would find the sweetest tomatoes in the green when ripened family. I am here to confirm this! Grub's Mystery Green tomato is a very sweet and well textured variety. In fact, it tastes like some kind of tropical experience to me. 10-14 ounce fruits are born on huge potato leafed vines. Production is good! The plants displayed good disease resistance and hardiness, even in the worst conditions! Slice these up and lay them on a platter and you will see how very beautiful they are. Out of stockBig, hefty beefsteaks are what you will get when you grow out Holy Land Tomato. Our plants were tall and loaded with 1-2 lb tomatoes that kept coming until cooler weather. Fruits began to ripen about 85 days after transplant. I just had to eat the very first ripened fruit. It was sweet, meaty, flavorful and satisfying. I also love that these have good, old time flavor. Holy Land is the perfect compliment to two slices of bread, some mayo, lettuce, good cheese, salt and pepper. If you can't locate any of those things, simply eat it right off the vine, it's super delicious that way.
