Another of my favorites in 2018, Dwarf Striped Antho tomato kept my attention all season long. Short plants suitable for growing in containers also, produced round and slightly oblate fruits, that displayed nice antho on their top side. On the blossom end they were a beautiful red and yellowish striping. That combination certainly lit up our garden. Our plants were about 2-2.5 feet tall, had rugose, regular leaves, but not thick foliage. These started ripening around 72 days from transplant and continued until season's end. Dwarf Striped Antho is perfect for snacking, canning, garnish, market sales and so much more. Fruits are mildly sweet and fruity, with some beautiful earthy undertones.

Out of stockDon't let the name fool you, there is nothing sneaky about what Dwarf Sneaky Sauce tomato does. When this gem cooks down, it makes some thick , balanced sauce. It needs very little seasoning to make great dishes. So if you are a bad cook, start with these. Sauce making is not all that good about this tomato. It also makes great salsa, stews and is a good canner too! Shelf life is pretty good but not exceptional. As it pertains to taste, it is mild, sweeter and meaty. Production is good but not exceptional, so plant one or two extra plants and you will have a guaranteed awesome sauce tomato! 2-3 feet tall plants! As a side note, I made some great tomato bisque with these!

In 2017 we ate no other tomato right of of the vine in the garden as we did Lucky Tiger. Another fine production by Fred Hempel of Artisan Seeds, this tomato is the BOMB! Perfect for salsas, jams, jellies, drying for flakes and powder and tons more, there is no better say to have it than freshly picked! High producing vines are six feet tall and bushy. They produce two inch long, greenish pink, bi color tomatoes that are the closest thing to real fruits. It's really hard not to eat them all. I literally ate hundreds of these before I saved my first seed. If you haven't grown lucky Tiger tomato, Get it!

75 Days. If you ever wanted a cherry tomato variety that produces heavily, Gardener's Delight would be one for you. Big bushy vines produce what seems like millions of regular sized, deep red cherries. Gardener's tomatoes are sweeter and full flavored. Great old time tomato feel n a cherry tomato. Great for snacking, salads and dehydrating. BTW, kids love them!

When I first grew these, someone should have told me that I should only grow a few plants. Our plants produced so many delicious, light pink cherry tomatoes, that I couldn't harvest them all. Raspberry Colored Sugarplum tomato is the one to grow if you want huge harvests. They begin to ripen about 70 days from transplant. These are sweet and juicy!

75-80 Days. Noire de Crimee tomato is a black slicer that has excellent taste. 5 foot tall vines are prolific and produce 5-10 ounce fruits that ripen to a beautiful chocolate, right in the middle of the season. Fruits are earthy, rich, juicy on the sweet side and delicious. I highly recommend this tomato if you want to try anew black variety.

We have literally grown about 600 varieties in the last few years and Legenda Tarasenko easily sits on my top 20 list. This is not because it's in the best tasting category, or the biggest fruits. it's not even because it an early variety. I love this tomato because of all the to it's positives. So here it goes! Vines are indeterminate and multi-flora. They produce a very high amount of fruits that are great keepers. They make fantastic sauce, keep well, taste good and sell well at the market. Plants blow through diseases and just continue producing until frost. Additionally, they are great sauce tomatoes, dry well to an intense taste and are great when sliced in salads. Need I say more about Legenda tarasenko tomato? 75-80 days!

Orange Centiflor Tomato
Huge clusters of sweet orange/yellow cherry tomatoes is what you will get with this multi-flora variety. A pleasure to grow, Orange Centiflor tomato is a heavy producer. Our 5 feet tall plants produced so many clusters of 50 or more tomatoes, that we didn't know what to do with them. Perfect for snacking and early too! Critters and birds kept getting these on the vine, so you know they are really good! Exceptional aroma when fully ripened. Great disease resistance! A treat! -
Japanese Oxheart Tomato
The Japanese Oxheart tomato variety are large pink fruit with dense, mildly sweet meat. It is perfect for those not liking a strong tomato but want lots of flesh for their sandwiches. In our grow-outs, plants were bushier and sorter than most oxheart varieties. Ours barely made it to 5 feet tall. plants produced huge, beautiful and perfectly shaped hearts, that were between 1o ounces and 1.5 pounds. Because to it's density, fruits are usually heavier than they look. Few seeds very pleasing taste. Eye pleasing! I am definitely growing these again! Stake well and early. 88 Days to first ripened fruits! -
One of the prettiest fruits that we grow, Beauty King tomato is certainly a winner. Ranging from 8-16 ounces in our garden, this winner is sweet and satisfying. Plants are very vibrant and produce many fruits that begin to ripen about 80 days after transplant. When ripened fruits are cut, their interiors are splotched with the most beautiful bi-color red and yellow marbling. Perhaps the thing I love most about Beauty King is its good balance of taste. It's not to strong or mild. I also like its aroma when fully ripened. This is a perfect tomato for sandwiches, garnishing and cooking. If you are in search of a very delicious, red cherry tomato, Chisai Cherry tomato would be the one. I first grew this gem out in 2014 and didn't really know what I was about to experience. After accidentally breaking the vine almost down to the base, it bounce back a few weeks later and produced more tomatoes than any other cherry variety in my garden. Chisai Cherry has an old fashioned, full flavored taste. It's sweet and tangy too, with plenty juice. this is the perfect salad and snacking tomato. Delicious, early and prolific. Perfect for kids and great for containers too!

70 - 75 Days. Great Blue tomato was sent to my by my friend woh lives in France. I grew them out in 2017 and totally over them. They are fruity, with strong up-front balanced flavors. Very delicious. A member of the Anthocyanin family, Great Blue Tomato has darker tones on the top side that neatly fades into beautiful greens on the bottom. This tomato is four to six ounces of deliciousness! Hard working vines have good disease resistance! Salsa, green sauce, slicing for sandwiches, garnish and dried tomato flakes would be great using this one!

Sweet Pea Currant tomato is perhaps the second smallest tomato that I have grown (see Filaris). Most fruits are smaller than a pea. Short vines that are perfect for container or basket growing produce thousands of cherries that have surprisingly big tomato flavor. Should be staked when in the ground or left to trail if in a container or basket. 65 Days. Perfect when whole in salads and also for snacking.

Out of stockAnother beautiful dwarf variety with wonderful taste, Dwarf Confetti tomato belongs in every tomato garden. 4-10 ounce fruits are nicely bi-colored inside and out. Plants are less than 3 feet tall and have rugose leaves. Even though they are shorter, plants will benefit from staking. They produce an abundance of fruits and can easily become top heavy. Fruits are sweeter and fruity with nice texture! They have just enough juice to not make your sandwich soggy. Your first ripened fruits shows up about 80 days after transplant. Grow these in containers or small garden spaces. I recommend 5 gallons or larger. Try them, you'll love them.

Big Rainbow Tomato
80 Days. When well ripened, a Big Rainbow tomato is something to see! It is not excessively big, perhaps 1 pound, but it's all you could handle. This is a great sandwich tomato and would work well in sauces, in the market, for garnishing when sliced and for fresh eating right off the vine. sweet, rich and juicy. A medium hot variety, Turkish Cayenne Pepper is the perfect thing for sprinkling in your soups or adding a little extra heat on your meats. This beautiful pepper can grow to as long as 8 inches. These are perfect for making powder or flakes, when roasted dried or even fried. Sprinkle them in your meals when cooking or even make some delicious hot sauce. Black dragon tomato is a wonderful little pear shaped fruit with dark colored skin. Its trademarks are huge production and good taste. It produces all season long. Indeterminate plants can be tall but average about 6 feet. Many of ours have been 7-8 feet tall. Fruits are sweetish and full flavored, but not too intense. Just a few plants will be sufficient for a smaller family Black dragon is a great selection for snacking, fresh salsa, canning and dehydrating. If you are a vendor, this will be perfect for your tomato stand! Kids love them! I'm a big kid. LOL.

Jewish tomato is a smaller red oxheart that is rich, meaty and sweet. Shorter wispy leafed vines bear a lot of 6 ounce fruits that begin to ripen about 80 days after transplant. Everyone that have tasted these have loved them. Unfortunately, they have a very few seeds, so our supply is limited. A very rare oxheart. Fantastic sauce, ketchup and paste tomato. Great on sandwiches also. Recommended!

Morris Heading Collards
Morris Heading Collards is an old southern green that is a cultural favorite. This tasty variety is said to taste line butter. I really don't find that to be necessarily true. In my experience, it's very soft, smooth tasting and sort of nutty. With that said, it's very, very delicious and shouldn't be overlooked. One of my favorite greens that I grow from time to time. These are also slower to bolt. Rich in vitamins and minerals. If you love collars, try this one!! -
Chioggia Beet
Avery beautiful beet inside and out, this one stands out in the crowd! When sliced, Chioggia Beet displays beautiful concentric circles of pinks and whites. An old Italian variety, it will light up your life with its colors and taste that stays true to the beet family. Use it as you would any other beet. Pickling, boiling, cooking, roasting, salads etc, or with other vegetables, and so much more. Rich and earthy beet flavor that leaves nothing to be desired! Start early in Spring and you can expect maturity about 60 days after planting. -
Dwarf Red Heart Tomato
I am so happy that we grew these in 2020. Dwarf Red Heart tomato is a very beautiful fruit. 2.4 feet tall plants produce 4-6 ounce, heart shaped fruits, that are bright red when fully ripened. Delicious rich taste and perfect for sauces and paste. Great garden snack too. Our plants had excellent disease resistance and were very prolific. One of the first tomatoes to ripen this year. 70 days to first ripened fruits! Perfect for container growing and smaller garden spaces! -
White Sugar Tomato
A sweeter and juicy variety, White Sugar tomato is a pure gem to grow. Although I would consider this a slicing tomato, I think it would shine as a juice and cooking variety. These are really good right off the vine. Ripening to a pale yellow color, 4-8 ounce fruits have a wonderful aroma when fully done. Very beautiful for plating too! Wonderful market variety! Plants are prolific and around mid season. 80 days! -
PPP X PP"C" Tomato
PPP X PP"C" tomato is a mid-sized, wonderful black variety that averages 10 ounces. Flavor is very rich, with complex balanced taste of sweet and tart. A full flavored variety, you will like this one! Potato leafed plants produce a good amount of fruits, which, when transplanted in early May, begin to ripen in mid July. So it's about a 80 day fruition from transplant. Plants are about 6 feet tall and vibrant. I would say that this tomato is one of the better black varieties I have experienced in many years! I accidentally planted twice as many plants in 2020 and did not regret it. These plants produced so many tomatoes I could share a lot! Good disease resistance and they mind heat! Aroma is fantastic! Everyone should grow some of these! -
Blue Sun tomato is another new antho variety that we have introduced in 2018. Smaller sized slicing tomatoes are a lovely lime green when fully ripened and sliced. On its exterior, fruits have some nice antho on the top side and a beautiful like green on its bottom end. Juicy and milder with some sweetness, Blue Sun has a very pleasing after-taste that is a bit difficult for me to describe. Indeterminate plants were prolific and hardy. From season's start to end, our plants had no issues. our first ripened fruits appeared around 75 days after transplant. From that point they kept coming!

85 Days. Unique, whitish colored fruits that are mottled with greenish spots. Fruits average around the 1 pound mark and are sweetish and rich. Really nice textured flesh. Vines show good disease resistance and produce a good amount of fruits. perfect for sandwiches!

65-70 Days. Millions and millions of dime sized cherry tomatoes will be your prize for growing Matt's Wild Cherry. Aggressive, disease resistant vines are anxious to produce. Tomatoes are deep red, well balanced and very flavorful. These are perfect for salads, munching drying and tomato platters. If you like cherry tomatoes, you'll love these!

Out of stockBerkley Tie Dye Green tomato is a pretty bi-color fruit that has really nice taste appeal. Fruits are about 4-6 ounces and begin to ripen about 75 days after transplant. When you bite in, there will be plenty of fruitiness. But what is most recognizable is the really great balance of sweets and tarts. Vines are determined and stand up well to diseases. We do spray with Copper Sulfate during the season. Perfect salsa, garnishing, drying and fresh eating tomato. Great for market vendors.
