• Mary Robinson's German Bicolor tomato is a large slicer tomato that has excellent taste. Fruits can reach one pound and ripens about 90 days after transplant. Vines are between 5-6 feet tall and produce good crops of these beauties. Perfect for sandwiches, tomato platters, tomato stews and just eating in the garden.

    90 Days. Marvel Striped is one of my favorites. Big one pound, yellow and red bi-color fruits, are later to ripen but very, very good! Fruits are meaty and balanced but leans towards the sweet side. Vines have regular leaves and are about six feet tall! Perfect Sandwich tomato!

    Martha Logan tomato is a larger variety that grows on tall, vibrant vines. Our largest fruits weighed about 1.2 pounds and were beautiful. Our plants did not display any signs of diseases. Fruits began to ripen a bit late, coming in about 82 days after transplanting them in out garden. But from that point, we harvested beautiful fruits until season's end. As it pertains to taste, it is very flavorful. It's juice is rich and flesh, perfectly textured and sweetish! This gem has a beautiful aroma when fully ripened. Great for sandwiches! Stake and feed well and your rewards will be awesome!    
  • 65-70 days. Marmelaonye Krasnye is a red dwarf slicer that measures about 3 inches in diameter. It is milder tart and juicy. Prolific 2 feet tall, tree-type plants are Prolific and early. great for container growing or plant in rows about 2 feet apart. Plants need some staking! Good selection for tomato juice, drying and tart tomato juice.

    75 Days. Marmande Vert is a French slicer that has nice flavor. Oblate fruits are said to me a mutation of Marmande, and are on the sweet side and juicy with mild fruity undertones. Perfect selection for snacking of the vine. Regular vines are tall and prolific. Green when ripened oblate fruits begin to ripen about 75 days after transplant. Nice canning and slicing tomato!

  • Looking for a beautiful, high-producing variety, that makes surprisingly great sauce?  Try Marinade Garnier Rouge tomato. Vines produce bounties of  pretty red fruits, that are great for sandwich making, sauce. It works well as a stand alone snacker, slicing and even garnishing. Red, ribbed fruits can reach one pound, but most average around 10-14 ounces. ours came in a bit late, at 85 days, but they were well worth the wait. Once they started coming they never stopped. As far as taste, these have very good balance, nice rich flavor that borders on the sweet side. A must grow!
  • Easily the most eye-catching variety that I grew in 2021, Marina's Praise tomato is a head-turner. Heart shaped/elongated fruits are not only captivating inside and out, but also very tasty! Ours had very nice fruity tones and were on the sweet side. Five feet tall plants produced quite nicely. This is an awesome variety for so many things!   • Marina Doohov Tomato

    Need yellow flavorful meat? Try Marina Doohov tomato. From the same breeder who gave us Blue Pear Eugenia and a few others, this tomato is visually appealing with super taste. This Ukrainian variety has it all! An oxheart, you will not be disappointed when you grow these out. In addition, it will turn heads in your garden. When sliced, Marina Doohov is almost all meat with very few cavities and seeds. We had to work hard to preserve seeds for offering. Well ripened, fruits have a fine aroma that reminds me cherries or peaches. A bit of that aroma carries over to its taste. make yourself a great sandwich and some nice yellow sauce with these!  I recommend this tomato. 75 Days.
  • 75 Days. Mariglobe Supreme is a red salad or slicing tomato that is as sturdy as they come. If you have a hard time growing tomatoes, try these. Extremely hardy vines produce high quantities of delicious fruits. Sweeter, with some acidic undertones, this tomato still has wonderful balance.
  • A long time favorite of many tomato gardeners, Marianna's Peace tomato is a winner all around. Large beefsteaks can reach 1.5 pounds and packs plenty of flavor. Ours were balanced and delicious, with true old fashioned, sandwich tomato taste. I also liked t's texture. It isn't mushy or mealy.  Plants produced plenty fruits but were not prolific.  They produced until season's end and were still trying to hold on when everything else was gone.  I also used Marianna's Peace for making sauce and fresh salsa too, it worked perfectly in both cases. Take a whiff, its aroma is incredible when fully ripened!  See it on Youtube!
  • Maria Amazileties Giant Red Tomato

    Looking for a big, meaty, high producing oxheart variety that can be used for sandwiches, sauces, cooking and more? Try Maria Amazileties Giant Red tomato. This tomato wouldn't let you down! One pound, blunt hearts are meaty and tasty, with top of the line old fashion flavor. Fabulous balance and superb tomato aroma when fully ripened. Plants are high producing for such a large fruit, so please stake them early! These will begin ripening around 8 days from transplant and continue until frost. The perfect all purpose tomato! I Love, Love, Love these!  
  • Margaret Curtain tomato is among the tastiest, black varieties that we have grown. Shorter, indeterminate plants produce prolifically and showed a good resistance to early blight in our grow-outs.  Fruits were rich, sweeter and slightly earthy with other complimentary flavors. I especially loved it's texture. It wasn't mushy or mealy, just smooth. Margaret Curtain also have nice aroma that always made me feel like eating them all  each time I harvested. 4-8 ounces fruits began to ripen about 75 days after transplant. They continued coming until season's end. This variety can be a nice choice for smaller gardens, container or patio grown. Try em!

    Marbon Tomato

    Marbon tomato is a canning and slicing variety. Bright red fruits weigh between 3-6 ounces and are relatively blemish-free. These are very uniformed and taste pretty good. Out grow-outs produced fruits that had mild acidity with more sweetness. Overall, this variety is on the mild side. Plants have a determinate habit and are between 2.5 and 3.5 feet. They begin to ripen their fruits about 65 days after transplant, so they're pretty early. Marbon is also a nice market variety because fruits are clean fruits and have good taste too.     Maralinga Dwarf Tomato

    Maralinga Dwarf tomato is a very delicious fruit that is totally worth growing in your dwarf gardens. It produces medium to larger slicing tomatoes that are full flavored and desirable. Plants are "tree type" and grow to about 3.5 feet tall. They produce 6-8 ounce fruits that are balanced, which are earthy and satisfying. Maralinga Dwarf  plants can be grown in containers for patio growing, but they work well in small or large garden spaces too. Growing about two feet apart would do perfectly fine for most dwarf varieties. Container plants do require a little more attention. Maralinga Dwarf is perfect for sandwiches, drying, slicing, fresh eating and drying. But they are also very attractive on your table if you are a market vendor. You can expect more sales with these! 75-80 days to ripen.

    70 Days. Manx Marvel is a small round tomato that ripens red. It slightly acidic and on the milder side. Fruits bear in clusters of 5 or so. perfect little slicing tomato. Vines are very disease resistance and production is early. I like these for fresh salsa and eating off the vine. Delicious!
  • Mama Leone Tomato

    80 Days. Mama Leone is a tomato especially made for sauces, paste and catsup. If your pasta needs some thick sweet sauce, you should try these! Hardy plants produce plenty of 2 inch, fat elongated tomatoes, that turn bright re when ripened. These are in the mold of Amish Paste, but smaller. Great aroma too!
  • Mama Irene’s Tomato

    You haven't tasted a really good beefsteak unless you tasted a Mama Irene's Tomato. Huge beefsteaks that are constantly over 1.5 pounds and often closer to the 2 pound range, these just keep coming all season long. Everything is large on a Mama Irene's vine. It is a very meaty tomato that you will absolute love. Sweet but balanced, juicy, and relatively early for its large size, this tomato will blow you away. Vines are not tall but very bushy and produce plenty of beautiful pink beefsteaks. Stake well! Fruits begin to ripen about 80 days from transplant, so get ready!
  • 85 Days. Perhaps the best green tomato that I have ever tasted, Malakhitovaya Shkatulka "Malachite Box" tomato is very popular here at Renaissance Farms. Without a doubt, it is the first green when ripe variety that I think about when color matters. Emitting a bright color when sliced, this delicious, rich and delightful gem is packed with a combination of flavors that culminate into perfection! There are many close seconds in our catalog, but if color matters, you should choose this one first! Vines are very productive and show good disease resistance.
  • Maiden’s Fire Tomato

    Maiden's Fire Tomato is truly a wonderful tomato. As far as looks, it's a stunner and will definitely turn heads in your garden. But this tomato does not have just looks. It is a very good tasting tomato with delightful balance. 6-14 ounce fruits ripen a beautiful pink and yellow bi-color that actually looks like beautiful flames. Fruits are sweetish with a hint of acidity, but nothing is too much. It's just right! Plants are prolific about 5 feet tall and have shown good disease resistance in our garden. Staking is necessary! You can expect your first ripened tomatoes around the 75 day mark.
  • Maglia Rosa Tomato

    70 Days. Maglia Rosa is another excellent production by Mr Fred Hempel. 2 feet tall, determinate plants are loaded with tomatoes early in the season. These were among the first to ripen for us in 2017. Two inch long fruits are rosy pink and very gorgeous! We never staked our plants but they could be lifted a little. Sweet, a bit fruity and good, is how I would describe Maglia Rosa. These are great for fresh eating, market sales, salads, jellies and jams. Absolutely perfect for drying!
  • This Kentucky heirloom is a good example of what a standard beefsteak should be. Bushy and taller plants produce huge pink fruits that can reach 1.5 pounds. They begin to ripen about 90 days after transplant. Sweet and meaty, there is a hint of acidity, after the fact. This just adds to the total experience, of what is already a very good tomato. Hello Sandwiches!
  • Madajar Tomato

    Madajar Tomato is a large meaty beefsteak variety. I love these for sandwiches and even diced up in salads. It's very meaty and is the perfect sandwich variety. On a sliced platter with other varieties, it stands out. These have very little seeds so save them well. Our biggest fruits reached 18 ounces and the smallest ones were about 10 ounces. It took about 83 days for us to realize our first ripened fruits but it was well worth it. Madajar is sweet, fleshy/meaty, full-flavored and has good old time feel. A winner at the market. Production is good but not prolific. A good beefsteak for anything beefsteak tomatoes can do!  
  • Lush Lovely Tomato

    If you like growing antho tomatoes, this would be a nice one for you to try. Perfect sized fruits have pink bottoms and heavily darkened tops. plants, though not overly prolific, produce lots of fruits. Ours began to ripen about 80 days after transplant and were relatively hardy. Flavor is up front and forward, minus the heavy antho taste. ours survived extreme weather, including excessive water, heat and moisture, to produce until the end of the season. A good find for us.
  • Lucky Tiger Tomato

    In 2017 we ate no other tomato right of of the vine in the garden as we did Lucky Tiger. Another fine production by Fred Hempel of Artisan Seeds, this tomato is the BOMB! Perfect for salsas, jams, jellies, drying for flakes and powder and tons more, there is no better say to have it than freshly picked! High producing vines are six feet tall and bushy. They produce two inch long, greenish pink, bi color tomatoes that are the closest thing to real fruits. It's really hard not to eat them all. I literally ate hundreds of these before I saved my first seed. If you haven't grown lucky Tiger tomato, Get it!
  • Lucky Swirl is a medium sized bi-color fruit that grows on a four foot tall. indeterminate dwarf, tree type vine. It's evidence that dwarf varieties can produce larger than average fruits. This beauty is relatively meaty with plenty of real tomato flavors. It's just perfect for sandwich making! Vines have rugose leaves and produce a really nice amount of 6-10 ounce fruits, that could sometimes be even larger. These should be stalked well. You could expect your first ripened fruits around the 80 day mark and expect them to keep coming. Our vines have displayed good resistance to diseases. We do spray these with copper sulfate at least once during the season.
  • Lucky Cross Tomato

    We grew some really great varieties in 2017. Among the best, was Lucky Cross Tomato. Believe me when I tell you that this is a big, fine, bi-color tomato! Large sweet beefsteaks are marbled with red and yellow streaks, inside and out. Fruits can be as large as 1.5 pounds. Vines have potato leaves and are about 6-7 feet tall. You can expect your first ripened fruits about 85 days after transplant. A very unique fruit that has nice and firmer texture. Production is good. This may be a nice selection for market sales. Stake well and get ready!!
