Huge, deep yellow/orange fruits are definitely head turners. They quickly weigh their vines down and need to be staked early. Our biggest fruits were closer to 2 pounds. Perfect for sandwiches, this tasty beefsteak can be used for many things. It's also a great tomato for market sales. Vines are tall and produce plenty of big tomatoes!

The first thing that comes to mind about growing Orange Orangutan tomato is its productivity. For such a large variety it's high producing. Big, beautiful yellow and red, bi-colored fruits an weigh one pound. Our largest this year was 1.4 pounds. Plants are about 5-6 feet tall and vibrant. They begin to ripen their fruits about 85 days from transplant in the garden. Our plants particularly loved the hotter, drier weather when some other varieties were struggling. But early staking is essential for a fantastic harvest. Orange Orangutan is a good selection for sandwiches and garnishing but should sell well at the market also. Try cooking or stew with this one!

Orange Roussollini Tomato
Orange Roussollini Tomato is a prolific cherry. Plump fruits begin to ripen orange before turning to a deep red. Mildly sweet, with some tang, this one delivers a very pleasing experience! Plants are super prolific and begin to ripen their fruits about 75 days from transplant. Plants were no taller than 5 feet and did well in hot weather. These are perfect for canning, snacking and salads. A great choice also for market sales. Try these! -
Out of stockThe most beautiful of bi-color fruits, no other oxheart tomato has the presence of Orange Russian 117 tomato. it's not just beautiful looker, though. Orange Russian is a good tasting tomato. It's medium-mild, slightly fruity and sweetish. Overall it has a very pleasant finish. I have grown this one for about 10 years and have always ben pleased. Fruits average about 8 ounces but many can reach close to the one pound range. Harty, skinny vines begin to ripen fruits about 85 ays after transplant. Good for sandwiches, sweet sauce, garnishing and sweeter sewed tomatoes. Great at Farmers' market! Watch out!!

Orange Truffles Tomato
Orange Truffles tomato is a unique looking fruit. Bell shaped, deep yellow fruits, have really nice flavor, texture and aroma. Not to be confused with Aladdin's Lamp, Orange Truffles is a larger tomato with different flavor (sweeter) and shape. It also tends to ripen a bit later. Our first fruits started ripening around 82 days. Plants were not tall and produced a really nice crop of sweet tomatoes with good texture. These will turn heads in your garden when they start ripening. Great tomato for snacking, market sales, dehydrating, garnishing and more. Fun to grow! What a treat! -
Oranzhevaya Zemlyanikia Tomato
Oranzhevaya Zemlyanikia tomato is a huge, deep yellow/orange variety that can weigh 1.3 pounds on the big side. On the smaller side they weigh about 8-10 ounces. Meaning orange strawberry in Russian, seeds for this variety were acquired from my Russian friend. Plants are thick and tall and produce plenty medium-firm fruits that are pretty and tasty when ripened. It is a mid to late season variety. As far as taste, these were fantastic for us. The reminded me of Yoder's German or Kellogg's Breakfast, two really good yellow varieties. Plenty meat on this beefsteak. Even though its name suggests heart shaped, it's not an oxheart. A really god tomato, especially for sandwiches! -
Out of stockOriginal Italian tomato is a very meaty variety that will do great for sandwiches, sauces and fresh eating. It's a real old fashion heirloom variety for which I was gifted seeds by an acquaintance. I am so that I grew these out in 2018, because it was one of my favorite sandwiches tomatoes this year. Larger fruits are pleasantly pink on the outside and a very deep pink inside when fully ripened. I recommend this tomato for anyone's sandwiches. Meaty, dense, flavorful and well balanced, is how I will describe it. Vines are between 6 and 8 feet tall and produce many nice sized, beefsteak fruits. Expect first ripened fruits about 80 days after transplant. Stake well!

Owens purple tomato is a very nice tasting, black variety. I especially love that plants are hardy and show great disease resistance in our gardens. Fruits are darker colored like Black Krim, and weigh between 6 and 16 ounces. Most of ours were around 10-14. Fruits are borne on clusters of 3-5 and begin to ripen about 75 days after transplant. Perfectly balanced, this gem will delight you with it's richness. It also has some earthiness and some acidity but it all evens out with other complimentary flavors. This is a very good tomato. Perfect for sandwiches, cooking, fresh salsa garnish and more. A great choice for any tomato garden

75 Days. Ozark Pink tomatoes are some of my favorites for making tomato stew. It's not the sweetest or juiciest variety but my sauces and stews come out just perfect whenever I use these. Delicate 4-6 ounce fruits are mildly sweet, aromatic and delicious. They grow on regular leaf, vibrant vines that are super prolific. this is another great market variety or if you just want to grow it as a main crop. Perfect for salads sauces, fresh eating off the vine and tomato stews.

One of the finest that I have grown, Palmira's Northern Italian Heirloom tomato is a very special variety. For me, everything about this tomato is great. I love its taste, texture, balance and aroma when fully ripened. I happen to love the old fashion taste and feel on my beefsteaks. This one has everything. Just cut one open and place a huge slice on your sandwich with some pepper, mayo, a pinch of salt, then sprinkle with chopped fresh basil. After promising to grow this variety for each of the last 7 years, I finally grew them out in 2018. What took me so long? Pantano Romanesco tomato is a superb variety in every way. Additionally, it is pretty early. Smooth, oblate, 6-10 fruits ripen to a very nice red that is just head turning. Plants are hardy and not too tall. Surprisingly, this is a very good sauce maker. It's also great for sandwiches. I highly recommend this as a main crop for market vendors. It worked very well for us. Sweetish, juicy and satisfying is how I would describe its taste.

Paul Robeson European tomato is a black plum that has that big flavor of some of the better blacks. Plants are prolific and ripen fruits relatively early. This, to me, was one of the better cherry/plum varieties that I grew in 2021. Deep chocolate fruits have rich flavor that is very satisfying and will encourage garden snacking. A little softer to the touch, this is definitely a great choice for saucing, but if caught before over ripened, would make a great addition to salads. Really good aroma that is consistently tempting.

75 Days. If you have never heard about Paul Robeson tomato, allow me to introduce it to you. Paul Robeson has long been one of the finest heirloom tomatoes around. It is highly coveted by chefs, serious growers, fun growers and everyone who love good black tomatoes. Five feet tall vines produce 5-10 ounce, chocolate colored fruits that have superb rich flavor. They begin to ripen about 80 days after transplant and continue until frost. The is the perfect selection for any garden!.

Paulina Tomato
Paulina tomato is a family heirloom shared with me by a tomato loving friend. He said that a Mennonite family shared seeds with him. He named it after his grandmother. I grew it out in 2016 for the first time. They made some great sauce and canned up pretty good too. This year, 2019, we grow out several plants. They all performed excellently, producing 3 inch long or more, fat, deep red fruits that were sweet meaty meaty. Plants were heavy producers. Paulina is along the lines of Kapia Red and Polish Linguisa. Thick rich flesh, sweet and multipurpose. Make yourself some great sauce with these! Paw Paw tomato is a very fine beefsteak with excellent sweeter taste. It has the signature sweet taste of most red and yellow big tomatoes. Can grow to 1.5 pounds plus! Our biggest fruits have been closer to 2 pounds. Very productive variety that begins to ripen about 90 days after transplant. Very delicious!

Paw Tomato
Paw Tomato is a rear slicing variety. Three to five ounce fruits are uniformed and generally blemish-free. Plants are tall and have good disease resistance. Our plants were prolific and vibrant. This is a mid-season variety that produces sweeter but slightly mild and delicious fruits, delivering a really good tomato experience. Peach Blow Sutton tomato is a fuzzy, milder tomato that is fun to grow. 3 ounce pink slicers grow in indeterminate vines, have decent disease resistance and begin ripen their fruits about 75 days after being transplanted. Slightly fruity, milder with a sweetish after taste. Nice tomato for salsa, tomato juice, salads and cooking with!

Pepe Jose Tomato
Pepe Jose tomato is a rare, large variety that caught me by surprise this year! In 2020 I had many of these that reached 2 pounds and more! When these started coming on, I was surprised how much they produced for such large fruits. Seeds were shared with me by my friend Terry at Secret Seed Cartel in France! These gorgeous fruits are relatively crack free. Taste is really old fashioned, balanced, with very nice texture. Sandwich ready! Plants were 6 feet and taller and produced all season. You would love these if you love growing huge tomatoes! Making a return in our garden next year! Recommended! -
Pepe's Gigante tomato is one of the most consistently large tomatoes that we have ever grown. All of the tomatoes were between 1.5 and 2.5 pounds. Even towards the end of the season, they were still more than one pound. This giant sized fruit bears on plants that are tall and lanky. They are meaty, balanced, sweet, and juicy. Plants ripen their fruits about 95 days after transplant. Stake well and often with regular revisions. These are perfect for sandwiches, sauces, market sales, cooking, and even salsa. Bring friends with you if you intend to eat them in the garden--you'll need help!

Peppermint Tomato
Peppermint tomato is a very beautiful variety that packs nice sweet flavor too. True to the yellow bi-color family, this variety is so sweet that it's almost like a tropical fruit. When sliced, Peppermint easily wins any bi-color competition. Colors are vibrant and present like a carnival of rainbow colors. It also has a very nice aroma when totally ripened. This is the perfect garnish and sandwich tomato. With some creativity, you can make the prettiest platter with these. Plants are good producers and hard workers. These are a little bit later, but when they start coming on they never stop. Our biggest was close to one pound. Stake well and the rewards will be yours. 82 days. Recommended! 80-85 Days. Persimmom is a nice sized, yellow tomato that I first grew in 2012. I have grown it every other year since then. Light yellow, juicy tomatoes can reach one pound. They are slightly sweet, juicy and milder. Plants are bushy and productive. Great selection for sandwiches, slicing in salads, salsa and nice yellow tomato juice!

A nice sized beefsteak, Phil's Fantastic tomato averages around 10-12 ounces. Some of ours reached the pound mark, but not very many. This beautiful fruit has nice aroma when fully ripened. As far as taste, it veers towards the sweet side but has a nice amount of tang too! So it's well balanced, with some other flavors that I can only describe as delicious. Nice amount of meat and smooth texture that is perfect for eating all by itself or on a sandwich. May make a good cooking tomato too. Try some stewed tomatoes, it may work great!

Piedmont Pear Tomato
A pretty and tasty variety, Piedmont Pear tomato will turn heads in your garden. High producing plants are about 5 feet tall and begin ripening their fruits around day 75 from transplant. These had really good disease resistance for us. Fruits are borne in many clusters of 5 or 6 and when fully ripened are sweeter, mild and have fruity undertones. A pleasure for snacking, making preserves (jams etc) and plating/garnish. These would be a nice addition to any tomato garden. Try them! -
Piennolo del Vesuvio tomato is an Italian variety that's perfect for canning and even sauces. Slightly elongated, cherry fruits have nipples in their blossom end. Five feet tall plants produce many large clusters of fruits. They begin to ripen in 65-70 days after transplant. Our plants also demonstrated nice disease resistance. We had no diseases on them in 2018. I made some killer sauce with these. I also enjoyed some fresh salsa too! These will work well for market sales. They also keep well after harvest. Try dehydrating some for tomato flakes or dried tomatoes for your meals. Prolific!

85 Days. Unique, whitish colored fruits that are mottled with greenish spots. Fruits average around the 1 pound mark and are sweetish and rich. Really nice textured flesh. Vines show good disease resistance and produce a good amount of fruits. perfect for sandwiches!

Pineapple Tomato
85 Days. Another popular fruit that stays in my annual rotation. Pineapple tomato is a large red and yellow oblate tomato, that is sweet, fruity and packs plenty meat. Fruits average between 12 and 24 ounces and can sometimes be larger. This is a very good tomato that has gained it's popularity because of it's taste, beauty and consistency. Sandwich Ready!
