• Berkley Tie Dye Heart Tomato

A very pretty cultivar, Berkley Tie Dye Heart tomato is so much fun to grow. Our regular leafed plants were about 5 feet tall and produced perfect, bi-colored green and purple, perfect and blunt oxhearts. All of which were tasty! These remained prolific all season long. As far as taste, these were earthy, sweetish and satisfying. Awesome aroma! I loved the texture! Really good choice for sandwiches, garnish, cooking and snacking right off the plant. 75-80 days to first ripened fruits!
  • Aunt Ginny's Purple Tomato

There is so much that I can say about this German variety, but I will start with its dependability. If you need a tomato that's going to produce for you, even in tough conditions, Aunt Ginny's Purple tomato is a great choice! Ripened fruits are deep pink and can reach one pound. Ours averaged 10-14 ounces. Taste is rich, and sweeter, with excellent texture. Mildly acidic. I love these so much! Plants are potato leafed and about 6 feet tall. One of the last varieties to make it to first frost this year. There were still tons of green ones on the plants after frost.

    Gigant Farina Tomato

    $2.75$3.75

    Gigant Farina Tomato

Need big? You've got it right here! Just look at the images and you will know that Giant Farina tomato is the real deal! Sweet and flavorful fruits can weigh 2.5 pounds with many being over 2 pounds. Our plants were around 5 feet tall and produced well for such a large fruited variety. These were a little later to ripen but totally worth the wait. I made some fine tomato sauce with these. I also made super sandwiches. Giant Farina is sweeter and forward tasting. I think its best uses would be sauce, sandwiches and cooking. But do with it whatever you wish. I'm sure it will be fine!!
  • Gopak Tomato

A very versatile variety, Gopak tomato is also very dependable. This awesome all purpose variety grows on shorter plants and produce plentifully! Our plants were no taller than 4.5 feet. They worked hard for us all season long. Clean, blemish-free, oxheart fruits, are about 6-18 ounces and the most beautiful pinks. A very nice type for sauces, cooking, canning, snacking and so much more. Early ripening, averaging about 75 days from transplant.
  • Hege German Pink Tomato

Here German Pink tomato is an 8-18 ounce fruit. They are mild and delicious, perfect for those wanting a pink tomato with less of a acidic finish. Plants were tall and vibrant, producing big crops of oblate fruits that began to ripen around mid season. Vibrant plants demonstrated good disease resistance. This is another awesome sandwich/BLT variety that can also be great for market sales, slicing, cooking and more. Will be growing these again! 80 Days to first ripened fruits!

    Thunder Mountain Longhorn Pepper

Planted these and basically walked away! I returned to the longest, curly, most beautiful and unique things that can possibly grow on a pepper plant. Many were over 1 foot long. Short plants are highly productive! These ripen red and can easily be dried with seeds inside. Very nice flavor and not too hot for true chili lovers. Perfect for flakes, cooking fresh, powder and so much more. Thunder Mountain Longhorn pepper is a must grow, all purpose pepper! Approximately 30,000-40,000 SHU.
  • Lambert's General Grant Tomato

One of my favorite tomatoes all season long, Lambert's General Grant tomato really knocked it out of the park! The plants were tall, but that could be because they had a few hours less sunshine than most of the garden this year. Plants were 6-7 feet tall but produced like crazy. Fruits were a delicious mix of sweets, tarts and good old richness! I highly recommend this one. One of my favorite things about Lambert's General Grant is it's disease resistance. Excellent! Ripened fruits were a nice mid to deep pink and averaged 8-18 ounces. A perfect sandwich tomato, but really a good all purpose type.
  • West Virginia Penitentiary Tomato

A true old fashioned heirloom, West Virginia Penitentiary tomato dates back to the 1940s -50's. It's is said to have been grown by prisoners in the State, then sold to local markets. This red tomato has a nice balanced taste of sweets and tarts and makes a wonderful tomato sandwich. Plants were about 6 feet tall and produced plenty of 8-14 ounce fruits. I especially appreciated its resistance to early and late blight. These hardy plants were still producing green tomatoes in October. On October 7th I pulled all of my plants and got plenty of greens from these to make pickles. Truly a blessing, especially for the heirloom enthusiast!
  • Italo Tomato

    $2.75$3.75

    Italo Tomato

Italo tomato is a huge oxheart that can reach 3.5 pounds. I have heard stories that some growers have harvested 5 pounders. I will have to see that to believe it! These averaged 2 pounds and got smaller as the season wound down. At the height of the season we were harvesting 2 pounders all day long! Italo is meaty, sweet, weighty and solid. Fine tomato taste. Ripens red. Plants are not necessarily tall, perhaps 4-5 feet but produce a good amount of fruits. These held up great against diseases! Perfect for sandwiches, cooking, or even making some superb sauce. Plants will need plenty of early support!
  • I have been growing some of Reinhard's products for several years now and he always breeds some top of the line varieties. I especially like his cherry tomatoes! This year I grew Reinhard Kraft's Goldkirsche tomato, a light yellow, dime to nickel sized cherry, that will blow you away with its production. 4-5 feet tall, indeterminate plants are slow growing, but once they catch on, produced so many tomatoes that I was hardly able to keep up.  Fruits came in bunches of 10-15 and began to ripen about 70 days after transplant. Once they started coming in, it was off to the races every day picking all summer long! These are very sweet and juicy, with a semi firm to softish feel. Like good candy! Will do well in larger containers too!
  • Kiss The Sky Tomato

    $2.50$3.50

    Kiss The Sky Tomato

In 2020 we grew about 120 new varieties, not as many as pervious years. But in my opinion, we selected some excellent varieties. Kiss The Sky tomato is one of those! Large cherries grow on tall vines of 6 feet or more. Other than its outstanding flavor, this variety is a massive producer of brownish purple fruits that are outstandingly sweet, rich and earthy. A very desirable tomato! Its heavy production and blemish-free fruits make it a perfect choice for market vendors. I am so happy that I grew these out!  I used these tomatoes for some of the best tomato jam. Grow these, you won't regret it!
  • Gordo De Patones Tomato

If you are looking for consistently large fruits, try Gordo De Patones Tomato. These were very large in 2020. They averaged 1.5-2.5 pounds consistently! This is a very good BLT tomato! These plants produced plenty, for having such large fruits. Taste was a milder mix of tarts and sweets. Very good old fashioned flavor and nice texture too! Another one that showed good disease resistance. Plants, and sometimes fruits, need tons of support! A big tomato for a big tomato gardener!

    Moment Micro Dwarf Tomato

One of my favorites to grow, Moment Micro Dwarf Tomato is a high producing variety. I like these too because they are very nicely flavored. Round, red and delicious cherries, are produced on short plants of 10-12 inches. Ours did excellently in 3/4 gallon containers! My recommendation would be up to 1 gallon but nothing bigger! Moment started blooming just weeks after transplant and fruits were ripening about 65 days after transplant. They continued producing for many weeks afterwards. Production is really good for such small plants. These are sweet with a little tartness and overall a very good experience!
  • Everett's Rusty Oxheart Tomato

Easily one of the prettiest varieties that we grew in 2020, Everett's Rusty Oxheart tomato did very well for us! When fully ripened, rust colored, bi-colored fruits, are blushed with green and yellowish colors. You just have to see this for yourself. The real treat is when they are sliced. No matter how you slice them the results are the same. You will experience some of the most intense tomato colors. Even better, they are very tasty, fruity and sweet with a little tang. Everett's actually tastes more like a tropical fruit. Our indeterminate plants were prolific and produced blunt, to perfect hearts. What a treat! Give these a try!!

    Birdie Jaune Micro Dwarf Tomato

Yet another tasty and exciting variety to grow, Birdie Jaune micro dwarf tomato is a solid choice for container and small garden growing. Our rugose leafed, 10 inch plants, produced canary yellow cherries that were sweet over tart with a very refreshing feel. Our plants started ripening fruits about 67 days from transplant and continued producing for quite a while. Does well under grow lights or outside. 3/4 to 1 gallon containers are perfect for these. If you are trying to grow your micro Dwarf collection or trying them for the first time, try these, you will like them!
  • Alexander B Tomato

    $2.75$3.75

    Alexander B Tomato

Another on of my 2020 surprises, Alexander B, a rarely grown variety, was a true standout in our garden this year. Four to eight ounce fruits are very clean, blemish-free, tasty and satisfying. Seeds for these were shared with me by a friend, and I am so happy that she did.  Indeterminate 5-6 feet tall plants are prolific, have many clusters of 4-6 fruits and keep producing all season long. These are sweeter and exceptionally smooth, with good balance. Texture is superb and they make perfect slicers. Great for sandwiches and fresh eating. For me, this variety is a new go-to for market sales and so much more. This is one to love!

    Delice De Neuilly Tomato

Whether you have grown micro dwarfs before or not, Delice De Neuilly micro dwarf tomato is a very good choice for growing indoors or out. Sturdy, 6 -10 inch plants, will do excellently in 3/4 - 1 gallon containers. For me, these were a joy to grow. Production is very good and taste is on the acidic side and refreshing. Nice and crunchy! Very good keepers and salad tomatoes! This variety begins to ripen around 65 days from transplant!
  • Work Release Paste Tomato

Work Release Paste Tomato is an outstanding sauce and paste variety. Prolific, indeterminate plants produce 8-16 ounce, pink oxhearts that are pretty and clean. I like that they are relatively early, beginning to do so around 78 days from transplant. If you are a market vendor you would love these! These are meaty, mildly sweet, have really good tomato flavor and nonstop! Bushy plants have good disease resistance too! Great choice for canning, sauce, paste and ketchup. I happen to think it's a great all purpose variety, which includes sandwiches! Try these!

    Bhut X Neyde Orange Pepper

Don't let the pure beauty of this pepper fool you, it's pure fire. But if you are a super hot lover, you'll also appreciate the other intricate flavors that accompanies it. Even when seeding these, I really enjoyed the fantastic aroma that delivered a full flavored feel. When I tasted these I was very pleased to find out that its other flavors, such as fruitiness, penetrated the heat. I was able to make some bean soup with these, not popping them, but just letting the flavor seep in during the process. Just before the soup was done, I removed the pepper, Heaven! So Bhut X Neyde Orange can be very useful when dried, flaked or powdered. Goes from deep purple and green, to blackish and orange when ripened! In the Caribbean we eat these by biting off small pieces with each mouthful of food. I do that in the USA too! Very, very nice flavor,
  • Gypsy Baron Pepper

    $3.25$4.25

    Gypsy Baron Pepper

Gypsy Baron Pepper is a very pretty, purple when ripened sweet variety! Exceptional flavor for cooking, salads frying and more! Plants were about 2.5-3 feet tall and produced prolifically. Peppers go from deep purple to purple with a yellowish blush at the bottom end when ripened. Sweet and perfect for salads, frying and pickling whole or sliced in half. Great little garden snack! So much potential with this one!
  • Aji Guyana Pepper

    $4.25$6.00

    Aji Guyana Pepper

Aji Guyana Pepper is a very flavorful pepper that originates in Guyana, a southern island in the Caribbean. Being from the Caribbean myself, I am totally familiar with this pepper and have used it many, many times before. I make flakes, cook with, and dry these for making powder. Sometimes I just nibble on them from one end to the other while I am eating my meal. I can handle some heat, though! Very flavorful and not necessarily too hot!  Very beautiful. Shorter plants that are prolific! Scoville Heat Units: 1,177 – 75,000 SHU (or hotter)
  • True Black Brandywine Tomato

One of my new favorites, I first grew True Black Brandywine tomato in 2020. Because it carries the Brandywine name, I expect it to be excellent, and it was! The 5 feet tall, potato plants,  produced a nice amount of 10 ounce, deep brown fruits. They were pretty and mostly blemished free. Aroma on fully ripened fruits were fantastic. I made some awesome fresh salsa with these! I also made some super tomato sandwiches with True Black Brandywine.  If you are seeking a hardy, easy to handle, delicious variety, please check these out!
  • West Virginia Sweetmeat Tomato

West Virginia Sweetmeat tomato is an Amish variety that can easily reach 2.5 pounds. In fact, about 10% of earlier fruits reached and surpassed that mark. A few were 3 pounds or more! Healthy, regular leafed plants, are hard working and produce quite nicely, though not prolific. Production was very pleasing and nonstop until season's end. The flavor is sweet, very rich and delicious. Texture was also very good. Plants MUST be staked properly, with some extra support for individual fruits where needed. Expect your first ripened fruit out 80 days after transplant. A great choice for sandwiches and so much more! If you love them huge with good flavor, this one's for you!
  • Kozula 72 Tomato

    $2.75$3.75

    Kozula 72 Tomato

We have grown quite a few varieties in the Kozula series. Only a very few have made it to our seed store. Kozula 72 tomato is, to this point, one of my personal favorites. Good producing, regular leafed plants, give plenty, though not prolific. Bi-colored fruits are green with purple blushing when fully ripened. These are rich tasting, fruity and sweeter with good balance. Good choice for plating, snacking, sandwiches and even cooking. This tomato reminds me a bit of Ananas Noire. Will definitely be making regular returns to our lineup.
  • Taiga Tomato

    $3.00$4.00

    Taiga Tomato

Karen Olivier has done it again! Her Taiga tomato made big waves in our garden in 2020. I just can't believe how beautiful and tasty these are! 6-12 ounce oxhearts are produced on tall potato leafed plants that start ripening around mid season(75-80 days). Give them a chance to ripen well, then cut and taste. You will find that these are a little fruity, juicy, have lots of nicely textured meat and are delicious! Deceptively weighty, there aren't too many seeds in this gem. Plants are very hardy and are recommended for northern gardens too! Awesome selection for slicing, sandwiches, garnish, cooking or just eating right of the vine.
  • Pepe Jose Tomato

    $2.75$3.75

    Pepe Jose Tomato

Pepe Jose tomato is a rare, large variety that caught me by surprise this year! In 2020 I had many of these that reached 2 pounds and more! When these started coming on, I was surprised how much they produced for such large fruits. Seeds were shared with me by my friend Terry at Secret Seed Cartel in France! These gorgeous fruits are relatively crack free. Taste is really old fashioned, balanced, with very nice texture. Sandwich ready! Plants were 6 feet and taller and produced all season. You would love these if you love growing huge tomatoes! Making a return in our garden next year! Recommended!
  • Red Barn Tomato

    $2.75$3.75

    Red Barn Tomato

When Joe Bratka found his father's old seeds in a an old tool shed, he found tomato gold! If you love great tasting BLT sandwiches, Red Barn tomato would be a great place to start. This was one of my favorite sandwich makers in 2020. I absolutely loved that they were perfect sandwich size, weighing in about 1 pound. Many were bigger but most averaged about one pound. Deep red tomatoes on good producing, regular leafed vines, start ripening about 80 days after transplant.  Fruits are mostly clean. Plants need to be properly staked. These can be a great market or main crop tomato. Taste is well balanced and old fashion without any complexities. Just a straight up, darn good, ole mater! Will be a regular for me from now on!
  • Amish Canning Tomato

    $2.75$3.75

    Amish Canning Tomato

Absolutely satisfied! That's how I would describe my experience with Amish Canning Tomato. Make no mistake, this is an all purpose variety that can be used for sauces, canning, cooking/stews and so much more. High producing plants come on strong around 78 days from transplant and just keep producing. We had so many of these that I was overwhelmed! A wonderful variety for taking to the Farmers Market!  Plants are around 5.5 feet tall and need staking. Taste is juicy, balanced with some sweetness too! Just a really nice tomato experience! I will definitely be growing these again. These remind me somewhat of  Amish Paste. It's a much larger fruit though!
