    Birch Tomato

    Birch tomato is a determinate variety that is early and prolific. Deep red fruits have good texture, are mildly sweet and juicy. Three feet tall plants start producing early and are hardy and dependable. I especially loved the nice and tasty balance that the fruits had.  Plants have to be staked because of large production. 3-6 ounce fruits are deep red and begin to ripen about 70-75 days after transplant. They produce bunches of about 5-7 fruits that begin to ripen in quick succession. Perfect size tomatoes for munching on. These would also make great tomato juice. I made tomato stew with some too. Delicious!

    Birdie Jaune Micro Dwarf Tomato

    Yet another tasty and exciting variety to grow, Birdie Jaune micro dwarf tomato is a solid choice for container and small garden growing. Our rugose leafed, 10 inch plants, produced canary yellow cherries that were sweet over tart with a very refreshing feel. Our plants started ripening fruits about 67 days from transplant and continued producing for quite a while. Does well under grow lights or outside. 3/4 to 1 gallon containers are perfect for these. If you are trying to grow your micro Dwarf collection or trying them for the first time, try these, you will like them!
  • Birdie Rouge Micro Dwarf tomato has become one of my favorite micros to grow. Here are the things that I like about it. Production, fruit size, early ripeness, hardiness and of course taste. This is not an intense taster like some pop the other micros, but pound for pound, its overall taste is what you would hope for in a cherry tomato, especially when grown in the middle of winter under lights. Birdie Rouge is mild, balanced and juicy, but still backs that true tomato flavor. Fruits begin to ripen to what seems like orange, then turns to a nice, rewarding red, that will make your tastebuds come alive. plants are about 8 inches tall and will easily grow in a 3/4 to 1 gallon container. 5o days!

    BKX Tomato

    BKX is the potato leafed version of Black Krim. They share many of the same qualities, except, in my observation, is a more prolific producer. BKX tomato is sweeter, meaty and full flavored. They can reach as much as 1.5 pounds but average around 1 pound. Plants have great disease resistance and begin to ripen their fruits around 85 days after transplant. This is a perfect variety for sandwich making and nice black sauces. These are also fantastic right off of the vines. When sliced and slightly salted, it's a tomato lover's dream! Stake vines well and harvest on a regular basis for best results.
  • 75 Days. This smallish tomato has a very unique coloration. Perfectly striped with green and browns, Black And Brown Boar tomato will light up your salsa and sauces. Its flavor is very up-front, yet not to overwhelming. Sweetness, earthiness, richness and flavorful are all characteristics of this little gem.

    If you ever want a tomato that can be used in a million ways, this would be one of them. Black beauty tomato is a pretty tomato that belongs to the anthology family. Averaging about 6 ounces, Black Beauty has mostly black on the top and fades into a pretty reddish purple on the bottom end. What a sight to see! Antho tomatoes on the same plant can vary in color intensity, so watch out for some very interesting variations!! Black beauty tomato is earthy, sweetish and has a little bit of tang. Its taste is generally richer than some many other antho varieties . Perfect for sandwiches, slicing, garnish and cooking and market sales.   • Black Brandywine is a favorite of many serious tomato growers. Regular leafed vines produce 6-8 ounce very dark chocolate tomatoes that ripen about 80 days after transplant. Tomatoes are rich and full of old fashioned flavor. plants have good resistance but I recommend spraying with copper sulfate before blooms set and after first fruit set. This is a very good sandwich tomato. Try some is salsa too!

    Black Cherry Tomato

    75 Days. Sweet, fruity, rich and juicy, Black Cherry tomato is an average sized cherry fruit that can hang with the best of them! It's also a favorite of many in the culinary community. Black Cherry vines are perhaps 5-6 feet tall and produce heavy crops of brownish/purple fruits that ripen relatively early. These have no problems with extended periods of heat and drought. This fruit is a little larger than chocolate cherry and not quite as intense. Vines are also very tough and  are very anxious to produce. Have no fear, they will be there at the end of the season when everything else has already gone.

    Black dragon tomato is a wonderful little pear shaped fruit with dark colored skin. Its trademarks are huge production and good taste. It produces all season long. Indeterminate plants can be tall but average about 6 feet. Many of ours have been 7-8 feet tall. Fruits are sweetish and full flavored, but not too intense. Just a few plants will be sufficient for a smaller family Black dragon is a great selection for snacking, fresh salsa, canning and dehydrating. If you are a vendor, this will be perfect for your tomato stand! Kids love them! I'm a big kid. LOL.

    Black From Tula tomato is one of the varieties that got me hooked on the dark colored varieties. This full flavored fruit is rich, earthy and tasty. Our plants were never taller than 5 feet and produced big crops. We did have to spray them one time with Serenade for symptoms of early blight, but they  did excellently after that. Our plants produced all season long! This is a good choice for salads, slicing, sandwiches, garnishing and more. These can do well in containers with proper staking. Expect your first ripened tomatoes around the 80 day mark. Enjoy!

    75 Days. Black Icicle tomato is a forward tasting fruit that is a great sauce candidate. Wispy leaf vines produce plenty 2-3 inch long, dark colored fruits that are very tasty. Plants have skinny vines and need to be staked early. Fruits are light chocolate brown and are sweet and rich when well ripened. This is a great tomato for cooking, sauces, stews, slicing and drying and eating of the vine.

    Black Krim tomato is perhaps one of the 5 most popular heirloom varieties of all time. A feat such as this could only be accomplished by one thing, QUALITY! This wonderful slicer is an all purpose tomato that can do just about anything. Fruits average about 8-18 ounces and are brownish purple when fully ripened. Black Krim is rich, full flavored and tasty. Vines begin to ripen fruits about 75-80 days after transplant and will produce until frosts kills them. Great sandwich, salsa, drying, garnishing and cooking tomato. It also makes good sauce!

    Black Magic Tomato

    I planted these and forgot about them. The next thing I knew is I saw some very loaded vines in my garden. When I approached the plants I had no idea what they were. Once I read the labels, I was eager to see what the ripened fruits would look and taste like. At first glance, a ripened Black Magic tomato seems not very different from a lot of the other black varieties, but for me it differed in taste. These have that very rich taste of the black tomato family, but with a bit more complexity than most. A really good experience on sandwiches, when eaten fresh and even sliced in salads. This is one beefsteak that I will definitely grow again. Great choice for market vendors too. Production is good and disease resistance excellent, sturdy plants!

    Black Mammoth Tomato is a rich tasting beefsteak that ripens purple/black. These can reach 14 ounces and sometimes more.   • Outstanding in every way, Black Mountain Pink tomato is a superb variety. Easily, this one has worked itself into my annual planting list. Rich, flavorful, tasty and satisfying, this sweeter fruit is really well balanced. If you love good old time flavor in your tomatoes, then Black Mountain Pink is one for you to try. Vines produce plenty fruits that can approach one pound, but most are around 10-14 ounces. Plants have also shown good disease resistance. This is a great variety for sandwiches, cooking, slicing and eating fresh and more. Stake well and your rewards will be bountiful! 82 days!

    One of the first black varieties that I have grown, Black Prince tomato is still one that I like to turn to every once in a while. For me, growing these is a way to be sure that I have a good salad tomato to turn to. Fruits are about 3-6 ounces, rich with some sweetness and slightly earthy. Texture is superb. I love slicing these up with a little salt and pepper. What a treat!  Five feet tall plants produce plenty fruits that can be used as a main crop for market sales. These also have good texture that works well in fresh salsa. Snack on some right in the garden, they are best that way!

    Black Sea Man Tomato

    Black Sea Man is one of my favorite black tomatoes. Potato leaf vines are not to tall, perhaps 5 feet, and produce plenty of 8-12 ounce fruits. These are early to ripen coming in around 70 days after transplant. Fruits are very rich and sweeter with a nice juicy balance of tang. Nice full tomato flavor! I really love this tomato! It remains on my annual list. perfect for slicing, drying, sandwiches, salsa and delicious black tomato stew. Give it a shot!
  • Black Spanish Round Radish
    Also known as 'Noir Gros Rond d'Hiver', this unique radish is easy to grow and has been cultivated in the USA since the 1800s.  These can be 3-4 inches in diameter and can be  a bit spicy. Dark bulbs have a milky white and pungent interior, with crisp feel. Usually matures about 60 days after planting. When cooked, it loses some heat and is very flavorful. Plant late spring to early summer! If you are a radish lover, try these! Enjoy!

    These cherry sized fruits are perfect for salad, dehydrating and snacking, especially right off the vine. Our plants fought through weeks of rain to produce good sized crops until season's end. Prolific vines are about 5 feet tall and vibrant. These begin to bloom pretty early, with our first ripened fruits emerging in early July, about 72 days after transplant. Fruits are sweetish with good tomato flavor and very little antho taste. Great Aroma too! Black Strawberry tomato plants need to be staked well for the best results. May do well in larger sized containers.

    Blackberry Lilly Seeds

    A real head-turner in any garden, Blackberry Lilly is a hardy perennial. Excellent for zones 5-10, it will return year after year in all of its glory. Plants grow to about 3 feet tall and blooms from mid to late summer. After a beautiful bloom, these produce blackberry sized and shaped seed heads that turn black when ripened. Though not edible, they make wonderful dried flower arrangements that can last for years. These will also make great additions to fresh cut bouquets. If you have full sun or part shade, these should do excellently. May bloom first year if set out early, but by second year they show themselves amply and beautifully.
  • Blanche de Prusse Dwarf tomato is a flavorful, slicing variety that grows on short, 2.5 feet tall vines. Plants have rugose leaves. They produce plenty, pale yellow fruits that grow in clusters of 4-6. Our first fruits started ripening around the 73 day mark and continued until season's end. I really love the taste of these, especially in fresh salsa and as snackers. They have a nice amount of fruity juice. Texture is also there! These are perfect for biting onto, especially on a hot garden's day. Try dehydrating some! Grow these in 5 gallon containers and you will be rewarded with tasty, yellow gems!

    When it comes to production, Blondkopfchen tomato is in a league of it's own. This multiflora should be on everyone's annual list. 5 foot tall vines produce bunches of up to 50 yellow cherries. That's not all! These babies taste great. They are sweet, slightly fruity and have a little tang. My German friend told me that the name mean little blond girl! These love drought and mine have produced through anything!! Perfect for snacking. slicing in half and drying and salads. Kids love them!

    Blood Gulch tomato is a really neat little fruit that has a really interesting flavor! 2-4 ounce green and purple striped. Slightly elongated tomatoes are a thing of beauty when fully ripened.     75-Days. Bloody Butcher Tomato is a little ping pong ball sized fruit that ripens deep red and grows on potato leaf vines. Fruits are balanced, tasty and on the sweeter side. This one has a good amount of real tomato juice. I especially like the hardiness of this one. Vines just blow through any disease and continue producing clusters of 5-7 tomatoes until frost. Great little snacking and salsa tomato. Caning works well too!

    Blot Pepper

    OUT OF STOCK, SORRY! To me, Blot pepper is one of the prettiest big fruits that I have seen. What's more, it's a very tasty sweet pepper. Peppers emerge with different shades of blotted purple, sometimes getting darker before ripening stage. As they begin to ripen, they turn light yellow, then yellowish orange, while keeping some to the purple blotting. This is a great stuffing pepper or it can be used as you would any sweet pepper. Plants produce a good amount of fruits that ripens from mid-season onwards. I real eye catcher for this multipurpose variety! Try them on a platter, mmmmm, delicious and pretty!

    Blue beauty is a chef's dream. It's pretty, tasty, relatively early and prolific. Vines are about 4-5 feet tall with darker leaves and stems. This antho variety gets darker wherever the sun hits it and mostly brownish/purple on the bottom end. I once saw a fruit that was turned upside down and it was totally black on the bottom end. When fully ripened, these are juicy, have a strong and earthy taste, with some sweetness that would work well for sandwiches.They work well other culinary purposes too. I especially like them with a little salt and pepper, right off the vine. Also a great tomato for the farmer's market!
