When it comes to production, Blondkopfchen tomato is in a league of it’s own. This multiflora should be on everyone’s annual list. 5 foot tall vines produce bunches of up to 50 yellow cherries. That’s not all! These babies taste great. They are sweet, slightly fruity and have a little tang. My German friend told me that the name mean little blond girl! These love drought and mine have produced through anything!! Perfect for snacking. slicing in half and drying and salads. Kids love them!

Certainly durable and productive. I just really don’t care for them. The skins on them are very tough and chewy, they’re quite sweet, but have a very front and center acidity to them that really pushes aside the sweetness. They don’t have much of what I would describe as tomato flavor, there’s also a sort of bitter vegetal aspect to the tough skins. They’re not BAD, if you like a very mildly flavored tomato with a lot of citrusy acidity and tartness, you may like them, but I’ve had much better.
Would probably make a quite good jam of some sort though.

Absolutely would make good jam. I know because I have done that. In fact, I still have some in my refrigerator from 2019. Really useful input, Seth. Thanks!

Gosh I love these tiny tomatoes and I keep coming back for more. I’ve grown these the last few years both in pots and in raised beds. Obviously they grow absolutely wild in the raised bed with good support, but they grow wild anywhere. Very vigorous grower and producer. The tiny yellow tomatoes are sweet and excellent for snacking on in the garden, pasta dishes, salads, etc. This is my go-to yellow cherry. Much more flavor than the other few yellows I have tried. If you are new to tomatoes, this one will reward your efforts.
