Siberian Pink Honey Tomato
Siberian Pink honey tomato is another good oxheart. I especially like this one because it's a little earlier than most of the others. Pretty pink fruits weigh about 4 to 8 ounces and ripen after 72 days or so. Fruits are meaty, milder and sweet. Overall, it has a really nice tomato for sandwiches, salads . -
65-70 Days. One of the earliest varieties to ripen, Red Siberian Tomato begins to blush about 68 days from transplant. As soon as they are planted in the ground, they get to work producing blooms and soon after fruits. This variety seems to do well in the cooler weeks of mid-spring. I always get early tomatoes with these. It is mild and juicy with food tomato flavor. A nice treat when everything else is yet to ripen. -

Snow White Cherry tomato is a beautiful white fruit that has really good flavor. These are wonderful for growing in containers too!Use cages for staking if growing this way. Vines are about 5 feet tall and prolific. I personally love these for munching and salads, but they work well for drying too! Expect ripened fruits around the 70 day mark! 80 Days. Solar Flare tomato is a medium sized bi-color slicer that has good taste appeal. Bursting with yellow and reds, it lightens up any garden when ripened. A great sandwich tomato, this gem makes really good sauce too! Looks beautiful on a tomato platter! Hardy and prolific vines produce a huge amount of 8-16 ounce fruits that begin to ripen around mid-season. Stake well because vines will be heavy with tomatoes. 70 Days. Slovenian Black Tomato is one of the prettiest black varieties that I have ever seen. They are also early! Slightly elongated, shiny chocolate, fruits have a lot of visual appeal. They grow on 4 foot tall indeterminate vines produce huge amounts of 3-4 ounce fruits that are mild and earthy. the overall flavor is good and it would be an excellent choice for anyone wanting a milder taste with good overall flavor. -

One of my favorite Oxhearts, German Red Strawberry tomato is a winner. 8-12 ounce oxhearts are smooth, aromatic, meaty and juicy. Its balanced taste is amazing. Disease resistant vines can be very tall and are high producing. This oxheart is a perfect main crop variety. Get ready for plenty fruits about 85 days after transplant. Stake well! Sungella tomato is a pingpong ball size cherry that ripens to a nice yellow-orange color. Other than its obvious beautiful exterior, this fruit is delicious also! Fruits grow in clusters of 5 on a 5 to 6 foot vine and ripen pretty early in the season. Vines like to sprawl, so stake well. Great selection for salads, snacking, drying, and culinary purposes. 70 to 75 Days. -
Sunrise Bumblebee has been on my best tasting list of cherries for a long time. These remind me of a tropical fruit. Shorter vines produce abundantly from early summer until frost. What's more, they have excellent disease resistance and refuse to be stopped. As a side note, the Bumblebee selection all work well as main crops, especially for vendors at the farmer's market. Tigerella is a mild, red and yellow tomato that is early and prolific. Its vines are no taller than 6 feet and work hard to ensure timely crops. I have found that these are not affected very much by our prolonged, hot summers here in Indiana. These are perfect salad tomatoes and great for making really tasty tomato juice. Eat some in the garden too....you'll like it! 70 to 75 Days. -
Violet Jasper is a big cherry, bi-color tomato that is sort of violet. It is milder and juicy yet very delicious. Its vines are very prolific. These seem to do well in hotter weather and must be staked early. A perfect tomato for snacking, salsa, and garnish. They will ripen around the 75 day mark. A good prospect for container growing if staked or caged. -
White Currant is without a doubt the hardiest and the most stubborn tomato I have ever grown! It is so prolific and hardy that you will never be able to get rid of it in your garden. Plant it once, and it will always reappear. Dime sized, sweet, earthy fruits are light yellow and have a soft texture. They are not good candidates for market sales but perfect for snacking in the garden. Busy vines like sprawling everywhere and would rather not be staked. 70 Days. -
White Oxheart Tomato
One of the whitest tomatoes that we have grown, it lives up to the oxheart family name. White Oxheart tomato is a 6 to 10 ounce fruit that is milder, sweet and delicious. It's a great candidate for tomato sandwiches and a sweet white tomato sauce. Skinny vines produce a good amount of fruits, but need to be staked early. Vines have also demonstrated good disease resistance for us. You can expect fruits all the way until frosts. These sell very well for me at the Farmers' Market too. Another good yellow beefsteak, Yellow Brandywine Tomato is really an all purpose, main crop variety. Totally different from Pink or Red Brandywine, this tomato is rich and delicious. Plants have huge potato leaves and are very sturdy bases. They can reach six feet tall. Fruits are a little bit late, beginning to ripen 90 days after transplant. Your wait will totally be worth it, though! -
Zapotec Tomato
75 Days. After years of growing pleated tomatoes, I now know that they mostly have one thing in common, SAUCE! With that said, Zapotec tomato is another sauce specialist! Very tall plants produce many 4-12 ounce, heavily pleated fruits that ripen after about 75 days. Plants also have good disease resistance and do excellently during the hotter and dryer months.This variety have many similarities to Yellow Accordion tomato, which is another great sauce tomato. Zapotec is also a good market variety, if you could protect them from getting squashed before you get there. My customers just love them! Fruits are on the sweet side with not too much juice. It's a great garnish and cooking tomato too! -
100 Pudov tomato is a very unique that is perfect, smaller slicer for many applications. Its name means 100 pounds. It's sweeter and mild. Vines are vigorous, produce a good amount, hardy and ripen their fruits in about 80 days after transplant. ours showed no signs of diseases at any time. This is a great market variety! I happen to think that this is a very under-rated tomato. Other than taste, another thing I like about is that is has a really good shelf life. I had some that easily lasted 3 weeks on my kitchen table. It's a great tomato for market sales, salsa, fresh eating, cooking and canning. -
Aladdin's Lamp Tomato
Not only is Aladdin's Lamp tomato pretty, it's also very tasty. Sweet, smooth and aromatic, this tomato will blow you away with its beauty. Vines are very hardy and produce plenty of deep yellow, ruffled pear-shaped fruits that ripen in about 80 days after transplant. Think sauces and salsas. Try some right off of the vine too! Great for market sales. -
85 days. Appropriately, American Ribbed tomato is named because of its ribbed appearance. For me, this tomato has some very specific purposes. It is slightly sweet with not too much juice. It is also a great sauce tomato because it's meaty and dense. Because of its unique ribbing, it is also great for garnish. Fruits can reach 14 ounces. A great market variety. -

Also known as "Black Pineapple", I love everything about Ananas Noire. This bi -color fruits proudly wears it's bronze, green and purple colors outside and in. When sliced, Ananas is beautifully marbled and would totally blow you away. Vines are hard working and display good disease resistance. Its sweet, rich, fruity and juicy taste presents a great balance. You can expect ripened fruits in about 80-85 days. -

Berkley Tie Dye Green tomato is a pretty bi-color fruit that has really nice taste appeal. Fruits are about 4-6 ounces and begin to ripen about 75 days after transplant. When you bite in, there will be plenty of fruitiness. But what is most recognizable is the really great balance of sweets and tarts. Vines are determined and stand up well to diseases. We do spray with Copper Sulfate during the season. Perfect salsa, garnishing, drying and fresh eating tomato. Great for market vendors. -
80 Days. Eagle's Beak is a uniquely colored oxheart that is a sight to see. Six to ten ounce tomatoes are perfectly heart shaped and grow on the signature wispy leaf, skinny vines. Fruits are a melting of reds and yellows but not striped. rather, it's a very smooth fading in, every here and there. True to the oxheart family, this is a very meaty and smooth tomato that is sweet and delicious. Bite in from the bottom end, mmmmmm, good! -
Big Rainbow Tomato
80 Days. When well ripened, a Big Rainbow tomato is something to see! It is not excessively big, perhaps 1 pound, but it's all you could handle. This is a great sandwich tomato and would work well in sauces, in the market, for garnishing when sliced and for fresh eating right off the vine. sweet, rich and juicy. Big White Pink Stripes continue to be one of my favorites! This unique fruit is produced on taller vines that are disease resistant. 1 pound fruits begin to ripen about 85 days after transplant. When well ripened, fruits have a very pale yellow color and are pink on the bottom end. Sweet,medium mild, meaty, aromatic and juicy. Stake vines well! -
Big Yellow Zebra Tomato
Big Yellow Zebra tomato is a bigger bi-color fruit that has great flavor. Weighing about 10-20 ounces this pretty beefsteak grows on taller vines that produce plenty of fruits. If you love sweeter but not too strong tomatoes, this would work well for you. This tomato has a rich finish and plenty of real tomato taste. Fruits begin to ripen around the 80 day mark. Black Brandywine is a favorite of many serious tomato growers. Regular leafed vines produce 6-8 ounce very dark chocolate tomatoes that ripen about 80 days after transplant. Tomatoes are rich and full of old fashioned flavor. plants have good resistance but I recommend spraying with copper sulfate before blooms set and after first fruit set. This is a very good sandwich tomato. Try some is salsa too! -
Black Cherry Tomato
75 Days. Sweet, fruity, rich and juicy, Black Cherry tomato is an average sized cherry fruit that can hang with the best of them! It's also a favorite of many in the culinary community. Black Cherry vines are perhaps 5-6 feet tall and produce heavy crops of brownish/purple fruits that ripen relatively early. These have no problems with extended periods of heat and drought. This fruit is a little larger than chocolate cherry and not quite as intense. Vines are also very tough and are very anxious to produce. Have no fear, they will be there at the end of the season when everything else has already gone.
