Dwarf Dainty Isabel Tomato
Dwarf Dainty Isabel tomato is a beautifully colored fruit that grows on short and stocky plants. Plants did not grow taller than two feet tall. I was really astonished with Dainty Isabel's taste. It had excellent balance and was neither sweet or tart. Nice old time tomato flavor when fully ripened. These dwarf plants displayed excellent disease resistance. This and all the dwarf varieties that we offer will do excellently in larger containers of 5 gallons and larger! -
Dwarf Whereokowhai Tomato
One of my favorites for 2020 Dwarf Whereokowhai tomato was really surprising and satisfying. 2.5-3 feet tall plants, these produced so many fruits that I was eating every time I walked by the plants. Fruits were sweet and fruity with plenty richness. When sliced, Whereokowhai is a sight to behold! A beautiful marbling of yellows and pinks will really turn your head. Hardy, tree-like plants. 75-80 days from transplant.Good choice for container of small space growing! -
Penstemon digitalis
Penstemon digitalis is one of my favorite wild flowers in the whole world. About 18 years ago(2002) I was slowly driving along the country roads in Mitchell Indiana, when I suddenly noticed this beautiful flower. It was early season, perhaps June, and I couldn't harvest any seeds. About 4 years later these showed up in one of my internet searches. I purchased some seeds and have been growing them since 2007. A very beautiful flower, this is one of the hardiest plants I know of. It will come back year after year, while increasing in the size of its cluster. It also reseeds but not overwhelmingly so. Soft bell shaped, white/pink flower will emerge in early to mid summer. Attracts butterflies, humming birds, bees, pollinators and more! Your flower garden will light up with these, so get ready! About 3 feet tall. Zone 3-8. -
Opopeo Amaranth has large red/purple flower heads and greenish brown/bronze leaves that are, when tender, edible and delicious. In your flower garden, these will stand tall and erect, creating a spectacle du jour. Your gardens will never be dull with these and you will have fresh greens all summer long. These start blooming about 65 days after germination, which is best done via direct seeding. These do well when transplanted too. If you are into milling, Opopeo produces plenty seeds for your mill. Makes great flour! -

Dwarf Speckled Heart Tomato
A high producer, you will be very pleased with Dwarf Speckled Heart tomato. Short 3 feet tall plants have regular and rugose leaves. They produce perfectly heart shaped, red and yellowish 3-6 ounce fruits. These need to be staked or tied up because plants get very heavy with fruits. Taste is on the sweet but milder side with good texture. Very beautiful head turners that would work well in containers, with care. 70 days to first ripened fruits. -
Dwarf Desert Star Tomato
Dwarf Desert Star is a pretty little cherry variety that has sweeter and balanced flavor. These grow on 3.5 feet tall plants that have rugose potato leaves. Production is excellent and early. These will work well in containers too. Perfect for salads and snacking, especially in the garden. Fruits are clean, crack-free and round. nice for canning also! -
Arkansas Traveler tomato is a very hardy and dependable varieties that exist. It's easily the easiest variety for me to describe. Our prolific vines have always displayed great disease resistance. Spotless fruits ripen to a nice rose pink color after about 75 days. It has a true old time rich flavor, which includes plenty of juice and aroma! These should be staked well and may do good in bigger containers! This has for a very long time been one of my most reliable varieties for me and farmers around the globe. 75 Days. Auria Dwarf tomato plant is a short tree type plant with rugose, regular leaves. 2.5 feet tall plants produce a big crop of 2-3 inch long, elongated fruits, that are bright red when ripened. Tomatoes are firm, dry and sweet with few seeds. Auria is perfect for sauces. In fact I have made some of the best spaghetti sauce with these. Perfect for 4-5 gallon containers. -

Chocolate Stripes Tomato
Don't think that this is just a pretty tomato that's over-hyped! Chocolate Stripes is a beautiful, dark-bi-color fruit, that is so beautiful you may mistake it for a tropical fruit. Taste is superb, rich and juicy. Vines are 5-6 feet tall and hardy. They produce plenty of oblate, 4-6 ounce fruits that ripen at about the 75 day mark. Perfect slicer for sandwiches, garnishing, unique sauce, fresh eating of the vine and drying. There are so many things that you can do with these! -

Costoluto Fiorentino Tomato
75 Days. One of the best sauce makers that I have grown in 20 years Costoluto Fiorentino tomato regularly remains in our rotation. Deep red, ribbed tomatoes just scream for the sauce-pan. Don't be fooled though, Fiorentino also taste great. It's a great balance of sweet and tangy with great texture! side. Also works well as a garnishing, sandwich and drying tomato. Cuostralee may not often be listed as a great sauce tomato but it is. That may mostly be due to the fact that it's such an excellent beefsteak. Still on my top rated list, Cuostralee tomato will rock your world no matter how you decide to use it. Huge, weighty fruits can reach 1.5 pounds . Vines produce plenty of perfect, crack-free fruits. This is the classic "way back" tomato! Cuostrale is rich, balanced, sweeter, meaty, aromatic and much more. Everything about this tomato is all good! Make yourself a some really good tomato sandwiches and spaghetti sauce! -

75 Days. When you grow as many tomatoes as we do, you can often run across good tomatoes that are hardly ever mentioned. Djena Lee's Golden Girl tomato is, in my opinion, is one of them. I truly hope that more people will grow these in the future. Fruits are large, yellow cherries that grow on 5 feet tall, loaded vines. These are mostly sweet and fruity. Great for jams and jellies, fresh eating, salads and dehydrating. Perfect when snacked on, right off the vine! -
Another wonderful variety, Dixie Golden Giant tomato is winner any way you look at it! First grown here in 2014, we have grown them every year since. Six foot tall vigorous vines are high producing and and relentless. Tomatoes are 10 to 20 ounces and have "do anything with me" written all over their faces! Really good beefsteaks are perfect sandwich makers. Make some really good yellow stewed tomatoes too. I have made some fantastic dried tomato powder with these. Excellent stuff! -
Florentine Beauty Tomato
Florentine Beauty tomato is a really pretty fruit that will turn heads. This medium sized, heavily ribbed variety, ripens to a nice canary yellow. Perfect for sauces, garnish and cooking, this beauty is a winner at the farmers market. It's mild and sweet with not so much juice. Seed count can also low. A perfect selection for those not wanting an acidic tomato. Vines are not tall(perhaps four feet) and begin to ripen their fruits about 85 days after transplant. Ours demonstrates very good disease resistance and willingness to produce in hotter weather. Try some mild yellow tomato sauce with these. German Gold tomato is a 1 pound, sweet fruit that is perfect for sandwiches and lots more. It's vines are about five to six feet tall and vibrant. In the mold of Pineapple tomato, bi-color fruits are beautiful and delicious. In addition to it's apparent sweetness, there is plenty of meat and some tartness. German Gold is a really good sauce tomato. Fruits start ripening around 80-85 days. -
German Johnson Tomato
German Johnson is a big tomato that can border on huge! Smooth pink tomatoes are full flavored, balanced and delicious. Vines are tall and sprawling. They begin to ripen their fruits about 90 days after transplant. Almost all meat, German Johnson may eliminate the need for chicken on your sandwich. These are great market tomatoes too. Stake well! -
German Queen Tomato
85 Days. German Queen is a potato leaf variety that serves well as a sandwich tomato. It has an excellent and balanced flavor that can also serve as an all purpose variety. Fruits are about 8-12 ounces and smooth. Disease resistant vines are five to six feet, hardy and produce heavily! Will work well for drying, sauces and salsas too! Ours have ripened as early as early as 8o days, but more consistently 85 days from transplant in the grow-out spot. Fruits grow in clusters of three or four and ripens to a delicious mild pink. Certainly worth trying!! -
Striped German Tomato
Huge red and yellow beefsteaks that are true head turners. If you really want looks and taste, this all time classic is the one for you. A great selection for slicing, sandwiches, sauces, eating off the vine, cooking and even market sales. Vines are five or six feet tall keep pumping out beautiful fruits until frost. Sweet and slightly acidic with beautiful complimentary tones. Striped German tomato can easily be a main crop tomato such Pink Brandywine. Gold Berries Tomato
A small cherry anthocyanin fruit that turns darker on top and yellow on the bottom end, Gold Berries tomato is a pleasure to grow and eat. Sweeter, slightly fruity and juicy fruits are perfect for salads. Chefs love to use these for garnishing. Try slicing them in half then drying them. Really nice! 85 Days. In 2015 we first offered Grant's Trustee as a new variety. Seeds were given to me by a friend who actually grew with Grant. It's an awesome slicing tomato that can reach 1 pound. Taste it and you will find that it's balanced and sweetish with good meat. Whenever I grow these, ti always make sandwiches with the first few ripened ones.
