• Florentine Beauty Tomato

    Florentine Beauty tomato is a really pretty fruit that will turn heads. This medium sized, heavily ribbed variety, ripens to a nice canary yellow. Perfect for sauces, garnish and cooking, this beauty is a winner at the farmers market. It's mild and sweet with not so much juice. Seed count can also low. A perfect selection for those not wanting an acidic tomato. Vines are not tall(perhaps four feet) and begin to ripen their fruits about 85 days after transplant. Ours demonstrates very good disease resistance and willingness to produce in hotter weather. Try some mild yellow tomato sauce with these.     The prettiest of small slicers, Russian Queen tomato is also one of the most prolific that I have ever grown. You can literally get a 5-gallon bucket full from just one plant! Ripened fruits are mild and juicy with fruity undertones. It is a great tomato for anyone wanting less acidity. It can be slightly bigger than a golf ball, perfect size for snacking!     Welcome to Renaissance Farms special strain of Goatbag tomato. Originally selected form smaller fruits, we have worked about 14 years, by intentionally selecting the absolute biggest fruits for saving seeds. The result is a fruit that is now consistently more than doubled it's original size but with the same huge flavor. We first got our original seeds from an old farmer at our local Farmers' Market. He promised a great tasting tomato and he was correct. Since then, all that we have done is select for size. Great taste! Perfect for sauces, sandwiches, cooking, paste and more! A must have!

  • It really doesn't mater that the tomato is not purple because it's excellent! Purple Dog Creek is a 1 pound slicer that works well for many applications. This well balanced fruit has flavor that will quickly get you hooked! It's not too sweet, acidic, juicy of mild. It's just perfect! Flesh has a really nice, smooth texture. Vines are hardy and seem to love hotter weather! Go for it!

    Marzano Fire Paste tomato is a 2-3 inch long, sauce and paste variety from the Fred Hempel's line. I have made some very nice tomato sauce with these. Plants are determinate and produce big crops. Tomatoes begin to ripen around the 75 day mark. also a very nice tomato for drying for tomato powder and flakes.

    75 Days. Striped Cavern is a very capable stuffing tomato that's about the same size as Yellow Stuffer. It is firm enough to withstand a few minutes of oven cooking, yet soft and tasty enough to be used as a stand alone tomato. Bi-color fruits are about 4 inches in diameter and are mildly sweet. insides are hollow enough to accommodate plenty fillings. Vines are very productive and ripen their fruits around the 75 day mark. Perfect for stuffing with whatever!

    85 Days. If you like plenty of solid meat in your beefsteaks, Behemoth king tomato will meet your expectations! Huge 1-3 pounds beefsteaks on tall, strong vines, are in clusters of about 3-4. Plants have good disease resistance and are determined to produce. Early staking is essential. At times fruit support may also be necessary! Ours relished the hotter, dryer months and did well in the wetter times too. As far as taste, Behemoth King tomato is sweet, really balanced and medium juicy. Sweets, tang and richness are all flavors you will experience when you bite into one! Get ready for a treat!

    Bingo Cherry was gifted to us by Mr Bill Jeffers. It's a meaty and firmer little fruit that is all about taste. Ripening to a nice brownish color, this tomato is sweet and juicy with a really rich finish. 6 foot vines produce big crops of nickel to quarter sized cherries that begin to ripen about 75 days after transplant. These produced all the way until frost. Great for snacking, market sales, jams or jellies and drying.

Shorter prolific plants produce white tomatoes that can weigh up to 1 pound and go until frosts. For a white tomato, this one has a very forward taste. It's not mild! Fruits have a perfect balance of sweets, fruitiness and tarts. There is lots of juiced aroma too! This is a very good tomato that can be used for almost any application.     I am so excited to write about this tomato that I am all tingly inside. Cleota Pink tomato was one of our best 5 selections In 2017. Out of 200 varieties grown, Cleota Pink was one of the standouts! Extra large tomatoes, constantly cross 1.5 pounds and even produce plenty of 2 pound and bigger fruits. This big beauty is very meaty and balanced. I haven't really tasted a beefsteak quite like it. Vines are potato leaf and grow to about 6 feet tall in full sunlight.     85 Days. I am a huge tomato sauce maker and I love this tomato! It makes the most delicious deep brown, sweet sauce that is perfect on spaghetti. 3 to 4inch long, deep brown tomatoes, are late to ripen and early to the sauce-pan. They have few seeds and sweet flesh. Note: I have noticed that a few do get cracks, but it really doesn't matter because sauce is what I am after. They all go right in da pan!

    Fleur de Regair tomato is another one that I absolute love. Without a doubt, this flattened tomato will perform well for making sandwiches an also in sweet dark spaghetti sauce. Big, dark red, deceptive tomatoes can reach 1.5 pounds and are grown on tall thick vines. These seemed to like hotter weather, which is surprising for a French variety. Fleur de Regair is very rich, sweet and very meaty. Vines have good resistance. Great for market vendors!

    I first grew Ispolin tomato in 2017. It blew me away with its consistency, fruit size, production and hardiness. I soon realized that it was a great to grow as a main crop. Fruits are sweetish, juicy and balanced. Our biggest fruits were close to 1.5 pounds but the average size was about fourteen to sixteen ounces. Ispolin is a very good sandwich tomato. You can expect your first ripened fruits about 85-90 days after transplant. Get ready for plenty awesome beefsteaks!
  • Pepe's Gigante tomato is one of the most consistently large tomatoes that we have ever grown. All of the tomatoes were between 1.5 and 2.5 pounds. Even towards the end of the season, they were still more than one pound. This giant sized fruit bears on plants that are tall and lanky. They are meaty, balanced, sweet, and juicy. Plants ripen their fruits about 95 days after transplant. Stake well and often with regular revisions. These are perfect for sandwiches, sauces, market sales, cooking, and even salsa. Bring friends with you if you intend to eat them in the garden--you'll need help!

    Polish is a nice size tomato that is a must grow if you are a serious gardener. Huge pink fruits grow in clusters of 3 to 5 and begin to ripen about 85 days after transplant. They continue to decorate the garden until season's end. Fruits are sweet, meaty, juicy, and medium-mild. Vines are about 6 ft tall, perhaps taller, and demonstrate great disease resistance. This is a perfect tomato for sandwiches and slicing. I especially recommend this one for market sales because its taste is similar to Pink Brandywine. This, for sure, would encourage return customers!
