    When it comes to taste, Eugenia tomato was at the top of the list of newbies that we grew in 2017. I am so excited to have these that I wanna shout! Huge, meaty oxhearts that can reach 1.5 pounds, grow on bushy, wispy leaf plants. A product of Ruslan Doohov of Poland, Eugenia is one of the best tomatoes that I have experienced. It's very balanced and fruity, packs a lot of meat with very smooth flesh. When to comes to aroma, nothing beats it! these even taste great at first blush! Please do with this tomato whatever you wish! FANTASTIC!!

    Fat Frog Micro Dwarf Tomato

    I'll get straight to the point! Fat Frog micro dwarf tomato is really good. Ripening green, with mildly sweet flavor and some mild fruity undertones, this micro gem is a recommended grow. Plants are between 10 and 14 inches tall with thick stems and by micro standards, produce some of the largest fruits. These grow nicely in 6 inch-1 gallon pots. I did not see any difference in plant size or production using either of these sizes. Production is good but not prolific. It's definitely worth adding to your micro dwarf tomato collection. Check out my pictures, they are so beautiful.

    D'Espelette Pepper

    A highly desirable cultivar, d'Espelette pepper is a French variety, grown in the commune of Espelette. My first experience with these was in 2018, but I just grew one plant. I totally loved them and promised to grow them again. I grew them again this year(2020). This pepper is also known as Piment d'Espelette, but since it is classified AOC, it can only be referred to by that name if grown in Espelette. With that said, my favorite use for this pepper was cooking. I did dry some for powder but haven't used it yet. High, outstanding flavor and easy to work with. Shorter, productive plants that are hardy and tolerated heat pretty well! Nice addition if you like low heat and high flavor in your peppers
  • One of my top 10 for taste and flavor in 2021, Candy Sweet Icicle Tomato is a salad lover's dream. About 2 inch long fruits are elongated and so very tasty. Indeterminate plants are super producers and never, I mean never stop producing! For me in 2021, nothing was a better snack in the garden. Taste is fruity, sweet with acidic tones and complete. These are not overwhelming, just perfect. I never saw even one crack or split on any of these, so they are very clean and pretty fruits, making these bi-colored beauties perfect market tomatoes. My plants were bushy and vibrant, but never got higher than about 5 feet. Great tomato for snacking, plating/garnish, dehydrating, preserves, cooking and so much more. I'll be back next year for more!

    Striped German Tomato

    Huge red and yellow beefsteaks that are true head turners. If you really want looks and taste, this all time classic is the one for you. A great selection for slicing, sandwiches, sauces, eating off the vine, cooking and even market sales. Vines are five or six feet tall keep pumping out beautiful fruits until frost. Sweet and slightly acidic with beautiful complimentary tones. Striped German tomato can easily be a main crop tomato such Pink Brandywine.   • Tsarskiy Podarok Dwarf tomato took me totally by surprise this year(2018). I planted it in a row with non dwarf plants and was wondering why it hadn't even grew to 4 feet tall. When I checked my notes, I noticed that it had a dwarf habit. Plants produced really nice beefsteaks that sometimes crossed one pound. most were between 10 and 14 ounces. Fruits were milder and sweetish with really good balance.  Plants produced prolifically, I liked that a lot. I think our first ripened fruits were about 80 days. This tomato is a growers treat. Plants need to be well staked. Perfect for sandwiches and tons more. Try eating some right in the garden. You'd love them.

    Aribibi Gusano Pepper

    Aribibi Gusano Pepper is a very nice Chinese variety! Small white peppers with some heat will light up your world. Short plants are loaded with pretty, 1.5 inch, wrinkled, white peppers. A real treat in soups! Awesome flavor! Great for flakes, powder, drying, cooking!   One of my new favorites! 300,000 – 470,000 SHU  
  • Perhaps the most prolific black dwarf variety, Dwarf Velvet Night tomato is a very formidable fruit. Softish, well balanced fruits are sweet and earthy with other great complimentary flavors. Borne in clusters of 5 or 6 , tomatoes are covered by the thick foliage.  Plants are "tree like" and begin producing pretty cherry fruits quite early after transplant. Fruits also ripen relatively early, coming in about 70 days after transplant. This can be a great tomato for snacking, fresh salsa and market sales. Try dehydrating some and making tomato jam. That may work well! If you are have limited garden space, it's a good variety for containers too. 4-5 gallon recommended. Give it a try! You will love it! See It On Youtube!

    Thai Basil

    I love just about any variety of basil, but Thai Basil is my absolute favorite! For me, no Asian dish can go wrong when I use it. One of my favorite Thai dishes is Pad Kee Mao (Thai Drunken Noodles). When done correctly, the inclusion of Thai Basil takes it over the top! I also love this basil in soups, Thai Pineapple Fried Rice and many different Indian dishes. I say all of this to say that this really easy to grow basil can fill so many holes in your dishes, even when you didn't know it would. A very versatile variety with fantastic aroma and wonderful flavor. I even make wonderful tasting tea with this variety! Definitely a must grow if you love basil. Dry and save for winter.

    Pink Bumblebee Tomato

    70 Days. Without a doubt, Pink Bumblebee is one of my favorite cherry tomatoes. Firm bi-color cherries are un-apologetically fruity, sweet and juicy. There are very few cherries can stand up to Pink Bumblebee tomato. 5-6 feet tall vines are hardy, productive and have good disease resistance. A very prolific variety, this gem will produce until frost. It has worked wonders for us at our Farmers' Market, attracting tons of new and repeat customers. That's always the sign of a great tomato.   • If you have never tasted a green when ripened tomato, Dwarf Jackass Green tomato is a great one for you to try. Easily one of the best green dwarf tomato varieties, this one is a keeper! Three feet tall tree-like plants produce plenty  6-12 ounce tomatoes that are fruity, balanced and rich. Stake well! Our first ripened fruits appeared about 80 days after transplant. They continued coming until season's end. Plants produce plenty of tomatoes that were green inside and out. A small amount of pink blushing on the blossom end. It's tasty reminds me of Aunt Ruby's German Green, another fantastic tomato. Dwarf Jackass Green can work great in containers too!

    Northern Lights Tomato

    Northern Lights is a large sweet beefsteak that is marbled, with reds and yellows on the outside and in. Vines are tall and begin ripening fruits around the 80 day mark and all the way into frost. They can reach up to 1.5 pounds in size. Other than their obvious sweetness, this gem packs lots of fruitiness. These are perfect tomatoes for sandwiches, slicing, nice yellow sauce, and of course, eating fresh out of the garden. They definitely are great for market sales and garnishing. Seeds are packaged fresh for you!
  • Work Release Paste Tomato

    Work Release Paste Tomato is an outstanding sauce and paste variety. Prolific, indeterminate plants produce 8-16 ounce, pink oxhearts that are pretty and clean. I like that they are relatively early, beginning to do so around 78 days from transplant. If you are a market vendor you would love these! These are meaty, mildly sweet, have really good tomato flavor and nonstop! Bushy plants have good disease resistance too! Great choice for canning, sauce, paste and ketchup. I happen to think it's a great all purpose variety, which includes sandwiches! Try these!
  • Blue Beauty Tomato

    Blue beauty is a chef's dream. It's pretty, tasty, relatively early and prolific. Vines are about 4-5 feet tall with darker leaves and stems. This antho variety gets darker wherever the sun hits it and mostly brownish/purple on the bottom end. I once saw a fruit that was turned upside down and it was totally black on the bottom end. When fully ripened, these are juicy, have a strong and earthy taste, with some sweetness that would work well for sandwiches.They work well other culinary purposes too. I especially like them with a little salt and pepper, right off the vine. Also a great tomato for the farmer's market!

    Another new one for us here in 2017, Brunette was a big hit! This tomato has so much appeal and is good in every way. plants produce large fruits that can reach 1.5 pounds. They begin to ripen about 85 days after transplant. Brunette tomato is all about taste. Rich, juicy, meaty, great texture and aromatic ,are all descriptions that apply. Our plants had no diseases and blew through the season as healthy as can be. They produced until frost! Stake well, plants produce plenty!

    Moya Noire Tomato

    Moya Noire tomato is a large, black variety that has good flavor.  Said to be a cross between Moya and Paul Robeson, this was one of my favorites in 2018. The pictures below don't really do this tomato any justice, but I feel that this is one of the best tomatoes that I have grown out in the last two seasons. Even when it's not fully ripened it packs good flavor. Our largest fruits weighed around 1.3 lbs and the smaller ones were about 8-10. If you need a really nice sandwich tomato that makes good sauce too, this is it!, Very pretty on a platter

    Giant Belgium tomato is a favorite of mine. Even though we grow hundreds or varieties each year, I do have a go-to list when I want certainty. Giant Belgium is one of them. Some others such as Uncle E, Dester, Curtis Cheek and Gold Medal are also included. Giant Belgium is all meat, which makes it perfect for sandwiches. Our biggest fruits were about 1.4 lbs but they do get bigger. The seeds which we offer are always form the best specimen. Plants are vibrant! They start ripening their fruits about 85 days after transplant. Stake well and get ready!
  • Bloody Butcher Tomato

    Bloody Butcher Tomato

    75-Days. Bloody Butcher Tomato is a little ping pong ball sized fruit that ripens deep red and grows on potato leaf vines. Fruits are balanced, tasty and on the sweeter side. This one has a good amount of real tomato juice. I especially like the hardiness of this one. Vines just blow through any disease and continue producing clusters of 5-7 tomatoes until frost. Great little snacking and salsa tomato. Caning works well too!
  • Epstein's Big Zac Tomato

    If you are looking for a great tasting beefsteak that will always grow large, Epstein's Big Zac tomato will work for  you. Huge pink fruits can reach 3 pounds and grow on potato leaf vines. Plants, though not prolific, produce plenty. I really like its disease resistance. These held up really well even in a tough growing season. Big Zac is fun flavored, tasty and reminds me of Cleota Pink. This is a superb choice for growers wanting a tasty beefsteak, especially for sandwiches. This variety will benefit from early staking. These make thick, meaty slices. I love them!

    Thunder Mountain Longhorn Pepper

    Planted these and basically walked away! I returned to the longest, curly, most beautiful and unique things that can possibly grow on a pepper plant. Many were over 1 foot long. Short plants are highly productive! These ripen red and can easily be dried with seeds inside. Very nice flavor and not too hot for true chili lovers. Perfect for flakes, cooking fresh, powder and so much more. Thunder Mountain Longhorn pepper is a must grow, all purpose pepper! Approximately 30,000-40,000 SHU.
  • Altai Orange Tomato

    Altai Orange Tomato has everything: taste, beauty, production and disease resistance are all there. This nice sized fruit can reach 1 pound. Most of ours were in the 10-16 ounce range. What I totally loved was that it was as early as many cherries. In fact, I can't remember anything, except Dwarf Lucky Leprechaun, ripening before this one. Our first ripened fruits came around 65-70 days after transplant. Fruits are the most beautiful, orange/yellow and grow in clusters of 3 to 5. Its texture is smooth, balanced and satisfying. Vines are around 6 feet tall and produce nonstop all season long. Altai Orange has easily moved up my list. It's one of my new favorites! See it on YouTube
  • Barnes Mountain Orange Tomato

    85 Days. Without a doubt, Barnes Mountain Orange tomato is a beefsteak I will grow every year. This huge deep yellow fruits can easily each 1.5 pounds. Many or ours have been bigger. Taller vines produce a good amount of fruits that easily drag their vines down, so stake well. This delicious beefsteak is meaty, sweeter and rich with lower acidity. Perfect for sandwiches, sauces and market sales. Try some in the garden but take a friend with you. It'll be a task trying to get it done all alone! See it in YouTube
  • Negrillo de Almoguera Tomato

    There is so much I could say about this cultivar. Let me start by saying that it's definitely worth growing. If you love black varieties or even if you have never tried them before, Negrillo de Almoguera tomato is a great way to get you hooked or to keep you coming back. Originating in La Mancha  Spain, this very dark variety is beautiful and tasty. Fruits can reach 12-14 ounces but average 8-10. Taste is rich, complex and inviting. Great sandwich tomato with not much evident acidity. Plants produce prolifically and demonstrate good disease resistance. A great choice for market sales too.   • Aunt Swarlo's Polish Plum Tomato

    A wonderful, large oxheart that can range from blunt to perfectly heart shaped. Fruits can weigh as much as 2 pounds. Sweet flesh that lends itself to sweet thick sauce and stew. Like Goatbag , Aunt Swarlo's Polish Plum tomato is a later variety, ripening its fruits around 90-95 days from  transplant. Plants have wispy leaves and  are are about 6 feet tall. Sweet, old-fashioned flavor with nice tasty meat! A true treat if you can wait!
