  • 75 Days! I am so happy that I grew this variety in 2017. Dwarf Champion Improved tomato performed excellent on the farm. Whether the sun was out or we had lots of rain, this short one always looked great! Eventually they produce tons of 2-4 ounce, very pretty fruits that were delicious as they were beautiful. Fruits were sweet, rich and had a great texture! They were perfect for snacking, just ask ME! Vines never crossed 4 feet!

    70 Days. This champion deserves its name. Dwarf Chocolate Champion tomato is a shorter variety, perhaps 3 feet, and produce nice sized, chocolate colored fruits that can weigh 3-6 ounces. Fruits are oblate and reddish with chocolate shoulders. They are nicely balanced and very desirable! our vines have no issues with diseases. Great container variety! See It on YouTube.

    Dwarf Beauty King Tomato

    About 75 Days. There is so much that I can say about this variety. Dwarf Beauty King tomato is a pretty , red dominant, bi-color variety, that is streaked with yellow. Fruits can reach 1 pound but many of ours have been around the 10 ounce mark. Indeterminate vines have regular rugose leaves, are about 3.5-4 feet tall and produce until frost kills them.   • 75 Days. Barossa Fest dwarf tomato is a very prolific variety that I totally enjoy growing for the first time in 2017. Our rugose leafed plants produced lots of pretty, pale yellow tomatoes that were 3-6 ounces. Fruits were milder and had a bit of a tart after-taste. Some of our taller vines grew to about 4 feet tall, but most were shorter. These produced all the way until frost. These are perfect for salsa, eating off the vine, drying and cooking.
  • Al Kuffa Dwarf Tomato

    Al Kuffa Dwarf tomato is a mild fruit with plenty of good tomato taste. If you like red tomatoes but want less intensity this is a  good choice. Its plants are short (perhaps 2.5 to 3 feet tall), and are always loaded with golf ball sized fruits. You can expect your first ripened fruits about 75 days after transplant. Stake these well.

    Duggin White tomato is a prolific white variety, that I had the pleasure of growing in 2017. Three to six ounce, flattened, white tomatoes, are perhaps the whitest that I have ever grown. Vines have good resistance to early blight and are 5 feet tall and never stop producing. Plant a row of these and it will be something to see! Fruits are mild sweetish and juicy.

    Dark Queen is a purple bi-color tomato that can reach 10 ounces. I especially like its rich and complexed taste. Its vines are not too tall, perhaps 5 feet, and produce a later crop of really good slicers. Fruits begin to ripen about 85 days after transplant and go all the way till frost.     Another winner for us in 2017, Dad's Sunset tomato is going to be a staple for us from now on. 3 to 6 ounce, deep yellow, clean fruits, are sweet, juicy and slightly fruity. Vines are around 6 feet tall and prolific. I was totally surprised by these! If you like yellow tomatoes that have high flavor but low acidity, here is one for you. Great slicer for sandwiches, sauces, salsa and as garnish. Please try them straight from the vine. Great ,market tomato too!

    85 Days. I am a huge tomato sauce maker and I love this tomato! It makes the most delicious deep brown, sweet sauce that is perfect on spaghetti. 3 to 4inch long, deep brown tomatoes, are late to ripen and early to the sauce-pan. They have few seeds and sweet flesh. Note: I have noticed that a few do get cracks, but it really doesn't matter because sauce is what I am after. They all go right in da pan!
  • Cote De Saint Andre is a big red tomato that can reach 2 pounds. This tomato is all meat! You will be hard pressed to find a more balanced tomato. Tall, vigorous vines produce plenty huge tomatoes that begin to ripen about 85 days after transplant. Ripened fruits are full of aroma and good old fashioned flavor.     I am so excited to write about this tomato that I am all tingly inside. Cleota Pink tomato was one of our best 5 selections In 2017. Out of 200 varieties grown, Cleota Pink was one of the standouts! Extra large tomatoes, constantly cross 1.5 pounds and even produce plenty of 2 pound and bigger fruits. This big beauty is very meaty and balanced. I haven't really tasted a beefsteak quite like it. Vines are potato leaf and grow to about 6 feet tall in full sunlight.     Claude Brown's Yellow Giant Tomato

    Claude Brown's Yellow Giant tomato is perhaps the most consistently huge, yellow tomato that we have grown, ever! Many of our fruits have reached 2.5 pounds and most were between 1.5 to 2 pounds. It is a sweeter, meaty and very dense fruit that is tailor made for sandwiches! Vines are about 6 feet tall and display good disease resistance.. They need to be well staked, with regular revisions. If you are looking for a great tasting, huge yellow tomato, this is one that you must have!

    75-Days. Moonstone tomato is a antho variety that grows on two feet short, determinate, very sturdy vines. Fruits are dark on top, and a nice mix of green and yellow stripes towards the bottom end. The combination of plant size and fruit colors has attracted a lot of interest by visitors to our farm.     75 Days. Chinese tomato was a brand new find for us in 2017. This is a very memorable tomato that will impress you with its uniqueness. Shorter prolific plants produce white tomatoes that can weigh up to 1 pound and go until frosts. For a white tomato, this one has a very forward taste. It's not mild! Fruits have a perfect balance of sweets, fruitiness and tarts. There is lots of juiced aroma too! This is a very good tomato that can be used for almost any application. It's also a great market tomato.One of my new favorites!
  • 75 Days. If you are wanting to try something different in your garden, Chestnut Chocolate tomato may be the way for you to go. Tall vines produce tons of anthocyanin tomatoes that are dark on the top and chocolate colored in their bottom end. When fruits are ripened their bottom ends changes to a chocolate color. Feel a few and soon you will be a pro. This tomato has a fresh, earthy taste with a sweet finish. Great of salsa, fresh eating, slicing and drying, cooking and garnishing.

    Another new one for us here in 2017, Brunette was a big hit! This tomato has so much appeal and is good in every way. plants produce large fruits that can reach 1.5 pounds. They begin to ripen about 85 days after transplant. Brunette tomato is all about taste. Rich, juicy, meaty, great texture and aromatic ,are all descriptions that apply. Our plants had no diseases and blew through the season as healthy as can be. They produced until frost! Stake well, plants produce plenty!
  • Bugai Rozovyi Tomato

    Bugai Rozovyi Tomato

    Bugai Rozovy tomato is the perfect companion for sandwiches. A large pink variety, this dense beefsteak is a balanced and very good tomato! Weighing about 12-20 ounces, it will impress you. We grew ours in full sun and they were very meaty, on the sweet side, smooth and delicious. They also tend to ripen pretty early for larger sized tomatoes. Our vines were about 6-7 feet tall and fruits began to ripen about 80-85 days after transplant. It reminds me of Pink Brandywine but a little denser and a bit sweeter. It's already on our grow list for 2018. We just had to grow them gain!
  • Brad's Black Heart tomato is another one that surprised me in 2017. Wispy, 5-6 foot vins produce a surprising amount darkened colored, blunt oxhearts, that could reach 1 pound. My first taste test with these was very pleasing. I found that they were full flavored, with nice balance of juice, sugars and tang. There was also something else that I am yet to place my finger on. It was all good though! Our plants produced well into fall without any signs of diseases.

    Boondocks  tomato is a beautiful pink fruit that I totally enjoyed in 2017. A wonderful, full flavored tomato, one slice will pull you right in. Vines are tall and bushy. They produce a lot of 10016 ounce, pink fruits that have excellent aroma too! Fruits will begin to ripen about 80 days after transplant and will continue producing all the way to frost. Plants will benefit from strong staking.  Good disease resistance and drought tolerance. Nice selection for market sales.     Harvest a bunch and make yourself some to the best purple sauce! Boars tooth is a Brad Gates tomato that, to me, is very interesting. This, 3-4 inch, elongated tomato is rich, sweeter and meaty. Vines are about 6 feet tall, have wispy leaves and are a bit late to ripen. Ours started to ripen about 85-90 days after transplant. This tomato was made for sauce and paste. Try cutting some lengthways down the middle and place them in your dehydrator. High, High flavor!

    Blue Pear Tomato

    My absolute favorite of the 2017 season, Blue Pear Tomato was truly something to behold. Beautiful and mostly clean pear shaped fruits, are different shades of black and reds, with each color fading into each other. A member of the antho family, Blue Pear Tomato should be in everyone's garden. Bred by Ruslan Doohov, one of Europe's premier breeders, Blue pear fruits realize their richest colors colors when fully ripened.  Vines were very disease resistant and prolific. In fact it took a second, heavier frost to take them out. Blue Pear is sweet, juicy, rich and very satisfying. It's a very pleasing tomato through and through.
