Brad’s Black Heart tomato is another one that surprised me in 2017. Wispy, 5-6 foot vins produce a surprising amount darkened colored, blunt oxhearts, that could reach 1 pound. My first taste test with these was very pleasing. I found that they were full flavored, with nice balance of juice, sugars and tang. There was also something else that I am yet to place my finger on. It was all good though! Our plants produced well into fall without any signs of diseases.

Brad’s Black Heart tomato is another one that surprised me in 2017. Wispy, 5-6 foot vins produce a surprising amount darkened colored, blunt and perfect oxhearts. Most of ours were between 8 and 16 ounces, but some were over 1 pound. My first taste test with these was very pleasing. I found that they were full flavored, with nice balance of juice, sugars and tang. There was also something else that I am yet to place my finger on. It was all good though! Our plants produced well into fall without any signs of diseases. This is a great tomato for sandwiches and delicious dark sauce! 80-85 days!
