German Lunchbox Tomato
Looking for a nice, milder cherry with good balance? German Lunchbox tomato will fill that spot. I really liked these and was actually pleasantly pleased when I had my first taste. This tomato grows on taller vines that are prolific and just on time. Our regular leafed, indeterminate plants, produce big crops of plum shaped cherries that had good aroma too! First ripened fruits came in about 72 days after being transplanted. These are clean fruits that didn't crack too much. Along with production, that makes them great candidates for market sales. For me, these were the best in salads and as delicious snacks. I suspect they will make great preserves too! Really nifty little tomato! -
Kozula 136 Tomato
Kozula 136 tomato is always one of the first that comes to my mind when I recall the 2020 season. These took me totally by surprise! Very prolific plants produce up to 20 ounce fruits. These are clean, mostly crack free and a pleasure to grow. When fully ripened, they are the most beautiful bi-color shades of orange and yellows. A real treat for the eyes. But it's their production which is truly the treat. These just keep producing and producing all the way until frost. Perfect variety for plating, garnishing, excellent market choice, sandwich treat and so much more! Flavor profile is sweet and fruity with little tartness! Our plants were about 5.5 feet tall. I love this one and you will too! -
Ondraszek Tomato
Ondraszek tomato is a high producing determinate variety. 3 feet tall plants are bushy and prolific. Fruits are nice tasting and inviting. Our plants produced about 20 pounds each. These average about 5-7 fruits per pound. Clean red tomatoes are really nicely balanced but veer on the acidic side with nice texture. Ondraszek is a great choice for fresh salsas, juicing, cooking, canning and more. Ours started ripening around 75 days from transplant. May do well in bigger containers! Good market variety! -
Looking for a very delicious dwarf variety that grows nice sized fruits? Willa's Cariboo Rose Dwarf tomato will get the job done. This beautiful beefsteak grows on tree-like plants that produce plenty, considering the size of tomatoes they produce. Our plants have shown good disease resistance, especially to early blight. Tomatoes are meaty, balanced, rich and tasty. They veer slightly on the milder side but not too much. Expect your first ripened fruits about 80 days after transplant. From that point, indeterminate plants continue producing until season's end. Some staking is necessary as plants topple with the big fruits they bear. Dwarf Golden Gypsy is another prolific tomato that grows on plants that are about 3 feet tall. This may well be the most prolific producer for the size of fruit that they produce. I literally harvested bushels full of these golden beauties from just 5 plants. The fruits are sweet, thin skinned, fruity, and excessively juicy. The entire experience is fulfilling! These too, would do well in larger containers but must be staked. Let them ripen well for the fullest experience. If you are intrigued by dwarf varieties, this is a present for you. -
70 Days. Czech's Bush tomato is a rugose, regular leaf, dwarf variety, that is loaded with ping pong ball sized cherry tomatoes. Foliage loaded plants are no taller than 2.5 feet and are early to ripen fruits. Tomatoes are milder and have a rich tomato flavor. These are great for salads and fresh eating. Also good for slicing and drying. Great for containers too! -

A very delicious heirloom tomato named after French Chef Julia Child, this one is hard to beat! Potato leafed plants produce nicely and begin to ripen their fruits around mid-season. This tomato has s good old time, sweet and juicy flavor that fits perfectly on sandwiches or for slicing on a platter. Superb texture. Our plants displayed good disease resistance and were hard workers. A great choice for any tomato garden. Stake well! -
Santa Domingo Pueblo Pepper
Santa Domingo Pueblo Pepper is a great cooking pepper that has medium heat. 3-5 inch, these are also great for drying when ripened. Thin stemmed plants are short and grow to about about 2.5- 3 feet tall. These are early producing! Nice for fresh salsas, flakes and powder too. Nice size harvest and hardy plants. I actually planted my 2020 crop in soil that was less than desirable and they still did very well. Peppers have a slightly sweet taste and are very tasty! About 16,000 SHU. -
Red Barn Tomato
When Joe Bratka found his father's old seeds in a an old tool shed, he found tomato gold! If you love great tasting BLT sandwiches, Red Barn tomato would be a great place to start. This was one of my favorite sandwich makers in 2020. I absolutely loved that they were perfect sandwich size, weighing in about 1 pound. Many were bigger but most averaged about one pound. Deep red tomatoes on good producing, regular leafed vines, start ripening about 80 days after transplant. Fruits are mostly clean. Plants need to be properly staked. These can be a great market or main crop tomato. Taste is well balanced and old fashion without any complexities. Just a straight up, darn good, ole mater! Will be a regular for me from now on! -
Earliest Of All Tomato
If you are looking for an early variety with good production and taste, try Earliest Of All tomato. Though not the earliest in our garden, these were still very early. Ours started ripening about 68 days from transplant. Short plants produced larger cherries that are tart and strong. Ours did get slightly sweeter as the season progressed. Texture is good. These are perfect for canning, cooking, juicing and fresh eating. Nice short-season variety! -

Jersey Devil Tomato
OUT OF STOCK. Re-stocking In 2022 Jersey Devil tomato is a sauce and ketchup specialist! If you are wanting to make sauce that everyone will remember, this is a great place to start. 2-3 inch long fruits are born on prolific vines and begin to ripen around the 75 day mark. Vines have wispy leaves and are prolific. Fruits are sweetish, meaty and tasty. They make excellent snackers. Jersey Devil also works well for canning, ketchup, cooking and so much more! Stake vines early and well and your rewards will be bountiful! This variety does have some shelf life but not as good as some others. A definite must grow for sauce lovers! -
Hugh's tomato is one that I hope gains popularity. This fantastic, large beefsteak, can reach 1+ pounds. Borne on very vibrant vines, Hugh's fruits are in clusters of 3-4. They ripen to a nice pale yellow and have few or no cracking or splitting. These are sweeter with very good balance and superb texture. one of my new favorites! This is a perfect sandwich tomato that works well also as a market or main cop variety. Vines are tall, some of ours were more than 6 feet. Stake well! You can expect your first ripened fruits about 85 days after transplant. Recommended! -
Vinson Watts Tomato
Vinson Watts is not just another pink tomato--it's a very good one! A fleshy and medium sweet tomato with fruity undertones will surprise you because it is not a flashy fruit. 65-70 days. Marmelaonye Krasnye is a red dwarf slicer that measures about 3 inches in diameter. It is milder tart and juicy. Prolific 2 feet tall, tree-type plants are Prolific and early. great for container growing or plant in rows about 2 feet apart. Plants need some staking! Good selection for tomato juice, drying and tart tomato juice. -
Chianti Rose tomato is a very desirable fruit. Big pink beefsteak tomatoes beg to be bitten into. These are dense, juicy, meaty and on the sweeter side. Slices are huge and literally covers the sandwich bread slices! They are perfect for sandwiches! I especially love the huge tomato aroma that these present. Regular leafed vines are tall and produce good amount of 10-20 ounce fruits, all season long! They ripen about 85 days after transplant and vines are very good with diseases! -
Moses Tomato
Moses Tomato is an exceptionally nice variety. Boasting a full flavored, old fashioned and sweeter taste, I happen to think it's the perfect compliment for a tomato sandwich. Indeterminate, vibrant plants have potato leaves. They produce amply, so you will have plenty of fruits. Ours started ripening just after mid-season. Plants also demonstrated good disease resistance, which I liked. Expect fruits up to 0ne pound. This 60 year old variety is a Kentucky heirloom that was first introduced by Dr. Moses of Williamsburg Kentucky. -
Joe's Portuguese Tomato is a large pink tomato with outstanding flavor. Fruits are often around one pound, but often more and have very good aroma. Our regular leafed plants were bushy, around 6 feet tall and stayed healthy throughout the season. Fruits are one pound or more and a pretty pink when fully ripened. They slice very nicely for sandwiches. Good production and old timey solid tomato flavor makes this a good candidate for a main crop or market vendors. Medium firm when ripened. 80 days after transplant to your first ripened fruits. Nice find for us this year! -
Billy Goat Pepper
Billy Goat Pepper is a hot pepper that reminds me of the Caribbean style peppers. If you like your peppers relatively hot, this Chinese variety would be the perfect for seasoning, cooking, sauces, flakes and powder. Plants are very productive, producing 1.5 inch peppers that turns from green to bright red when fully ripened. Nice pepper aroma. Plants are about 3 feet tall and peppers are about 30,000-40,000 Scoville Units. -
Get your salad bowl ready! Dwarf Bendigo Blush tomato is going to be perfect for salads! Smaller, plum shaped fruits ripen to a pretty pink. They bear in clusters of 5-7 and start ripening about 70 days after transplant in your garden. Plants have rugose leaves and reach about 2-2.5 feet tall. They produce plenty fruits for their short size. Fruits are plump and firm. They are sweet, juicy and sort of fruity with a little tang. Dwarf Bendigo Blush is perfect for container growing. I was very pleased with Caro Rich tomato in 2018. Our 3.5 feet tall, determinate plants produce prolifically. Fruits were between 4 and 6 ounces and loaded with richness and fruitiness. It isn't a sweeter variety. Ours were mildly sweet, had good balanced and satisfying! Some were fruit-like! What I liked also, is that they had decent keep after harvest. Plants should still be staked. These are perfect for slicing, snacking, canning and even mild yellow tomato sauce. They will also work well if you are a market vendor or have a tomato stand. I will definitely be growing these again in 2019 and beyond! See it on Youtube! -
Owens purple tomato is a very nice tasting, black variety. I especially love that plants are hardy and show great disease resistance in our gardens. Fruits are darker colored like Black Krim, and weigh between 6 and 16 ounces. Most of ours were around 10-14. Fruits are borne on clusters of 3-5 and begin to ripen about 75 days after transplant. Perfectly balanced, this gem will delight you with it's richness. It also has some earthiness and some acidity but it all evens out with other complimentary flavors. This is a very good tomato. Perfect for sandwiches, cooking, fresh salsa garnish and more. A great choice for any tomato garden -
75-80 Days. A wonderful tomato for sauces and paste, Donkey's ears grow on a wispy leafed plant with good disease resistance. Plants produce plenty of 3 inch long, sweeter, light pink fruits. I actually haven't grown any other tomato like it. It's also great for slicing and dehydrating, and super salsa. Vines are prolific and need early staking. -
Trinidad 7 Pot Yellow pepper is another favorite of Caribbean cooks. As a Trinidad native, I have many stories I could tell about this one. For one thing, I cut my pepper teeth on 7 Pot. Once my uncle showed me how to bite tiny pieces of with each mouthful of food, there was no turning back. This pepper has good heat and even though back in the day I thought it was very hot, it's not the hottest thing out there, especially since my heat tolerance has increased . 7 Pot pepper has some fruitiness, is ideal for flavorful hot sauce, cooking, seasoning and more. Productive 3 feet tall plants light up with yellow fruits around late August. So about 85-90 days to begin ripening. Great for pickled hot peppers, flakes, powders... -
In 2021, I grew three variegated leafed dwarf varieties. They were Pico's Pride, Elsie's Fancy and this, Walter's Fancy. All three were good producers, with Pico's Pride producing the smallest fruits of them all. Walter's Fancy and Elsie's Fancy I totally enjoyed. Pico's Pride I never got a chance to taste so I probably wouldn't offer them until I have a chance to do so. Walter's Fancy is a sweeter and mild fruit, this one was very pleasing to me and I often snacked on a few in the garden. Perfect slicing tomatoes that will work well in containers also. Plants are about 3 feet tall and have beautiful leaves of green and white. A true sight to see! Mid season ripening. -
Large American Flag Leek
Large Flag American Leek is is noted for its large leaves and stems. Here in the USA, this variety is really cold tolerant and does well in zones 2-11. It has a light/mild onion flavor that works well in cuisines. I have used in soups, salads, seasonings. It's perfect when seasoning meats and fish. It's also commonly called Scotch Flag leek. 15-18 inches tall and non-bulbing. -

Serrano Pepper
Although I had eaten it many times, I had never grown Serrano Pepper before 2020. I am happy that I did! Short plants produced abundantly and gave us copious amounts of 2-3 inch peppers that turned bright red when well ripened. I really love these for flakes, cooking whole in soups, fresh salsa, for sauces and even powder. Awesome when dried or dehydrated whole! I've heard that these are great when roasted! Truly a great all purpose chili! Give them a shot!! -
Perth's Pride is a fascinating tomato that I totally enjoy growing. When I first grew them, regretfully I only grew out two plants. They were so good, that one entire plant went to my cravings. that left me with very limited seeds but... Plants are about 3 feet tall and produce plenty 3-6 ounce tomatoes that begin to ripen around the 75 day mark. they are very rich and balanced with lots of juice. I especially like its texture. To me it just seems to melt in my mouth. we sprayed these with copper sulfate and had no issues with diseases. Our seeds are freshly packed just for your garden.
