    I love this tomato so much. It has so much character and beauty. I really love its taste too. Georgia Streak tomato is a large bi-colored fruit of yellow and reds. It is sweeter and fruity, very complete in its taste and to me, desirable. Very good texture and slices like a dream. Plants are regular leafed and produce plenty of fruits or their large size. These begin to ripen about 80 days after transplant. Stake well because they can put some pressure on plants because of their size and production. Plants seemed to relish the hotter months, when their fruits really tasted excellent. A great choice if you love sweeter tomatoes!!
  • Since I hadn't really seen Georgia Green Cherry tomato anywhere online, I decided to give them a try. I was also very excited about them because I love growing potato leafed varieties. I also found it interesting because it was a green when ripened PL and cherry variety too. This large sized cherry has a very pretty exterior. On its inside, Georgia Green Cherry is lime green and aromatic. Fruits were sweeter but mild, yet its flavor was big. No blemishes! These came on a little later but was well worth the wait. One of the hardiest varieties for me in 2021. Not many seeds. Let's help to make this one popular. It's a true find!
  • 85 Days. I remember the very first time that I grew Theas and where in the garden they were. that's because George Detsikas tomato is a memorable one. Other than great its taste, I always remember how aromatic this fruit was. I have grown these about five times in the last ten years and nothing has changed. They are so flavorful, rich and delicious that they easily make my "best sandwich tomato" list. Tall thick vines are disease resistant.

    Looking for some awesome basil for cooking making pesto or drying? Genovese Basil will absolutely do the job! This fairly large leafed variety has a wonderful aroma and nice strong basil flavor. Plants are about 2 feet tall and perfect for containers or in-the-ground growing. These are best harvested when leave are young and before plants bolt. Dead-heading new blooms will allow you to harvest all season long. Plant after all threats of frost are gone and when weather is at least a constant 50 degrees outside. Will do good in window sill if there is sufficient light. Make yourself some great meals and send me some too!

    Blessed with outstanding flavor and super production, Gary'O Sena is a beautifully blended combination of Brandywine and Cherokee Purple, its parents. It's actually one of the best black tomatoes that I have tasted in a long time. Ours ripened pretty early too! Its breeder, Keith Mueller, did a wonderful job with this one! Potato leafed plants are huge producers of 6-14 ounce fruits that are clean and blemish-free. Perfect market variety if you are a vendor, and even more perfect for sandwiches! Even I, as a big tomato grower, has found it difficult to think about a lot of better black tomatoes.  This is also an outstanding choice for sandwiches or just fresh eating. One of my top choices for 2020. If you haven't grown these, you must!

    If you have never used Garlic chives in your cuisines, I am here to tell you that this is one of the most versatile herbs ever! A favorite of the orients, these work well in almost situation where garlic is needed. I especially love them in soups (garnished or cooked in), oriental cooking such as curries and seafoods. I also make a mean butterfly shrimp using these as a base sautéed olive oil. Use like you would green onions or chives. What I like most about these is that they keep coming back year after year, so just cut yourself some sprigs and watch them come back. Awesome garlicy aroma, awesome flavor!

    One of the prettiest antho varieties that I have grown out, Gargamel tomato certainly is a pleasure to have in my garden. This beautiful tri-colored fruit is an attention grabber when fully ripened. Plum shaped fruits are abundant on their vines. I really like how Gargamel stood up to diseases. That, along with is good taste and production are some of the reasons why it will be returning to my gardens in 2019. Good salad tomato, great for garnish, snacking, cooking, canning and more.     Gandolf tomato is a taller dwarf plant that has a vine habit. It produces some of the prettiest bi-color, red and yellow, blunt heart-shaped tomatoes. Determinate, stringy plants can be five feet tall and prolific. I have noticed that like Grinch Cherry, these hate to lose a bloom. As a result, mostly all of their blooms turn into fruits. Gandolf plants have to be staked early.

    Fuego Rosa Tomato

    Fuego Rosa tomato is  an elongated variety that will blow you away with its beauty, size and beefsteak- like flavor. It does not have strong tomato flavor like some other elongated sorts, but it's still a winner! Bred by Fred Hempel of Artisan seeds, Fuego Rosa resembles one of it's parents(Striped Roman), except that it has clear skin. Fuego Rosa is pink. Vines are wispy, prolific and produce all season long. Early staking will be helpful. This is a perfect tomato for salads, snacking. Great in sauces, for cooking, garnishing and more.     For me, french Breakfast Radish is one of the better ones for roasting. Although some could be roundish, most are oblong and about 2-4 inches long. Also known as Radis Demi-long Rose a Bout Blanc, these are early maturing and harvesting can begin as early as 25-30 days.  These are crisp and mild, with sort of pungency to it's flavor. This beauty is also  a top seller at farmers markets. Get ready for a very nice harvest!

Not only that, 3 foot tall plants are also very hardy and stand up well to diseases. Fruits are a beautiful reddish, purple and green combination and ripen about 80 days after transplant. If taste is high on your list, Fred's Tie Dye is a gift for you! Rich, juicy, balanced and full flavored, this gem can be used for almost anything. Sandwiches are happy when there are some slices of Fred's leading the cast. It's also a great salsa maker, beautiful for slicing, fresh eating, cooking or even garnishing.   • Fred L Potato Top Tomato is a very good tomato. Tall potato leafed plants produce 1-1.5 pound and more beefsteaks with outstanding rich flavor. Original seeds were saved by Fred Limbaugh of from Robinson, P, his father and grandfather. These have some sweetness but with good balanced. Fred L reminds me, in some ways, of Pink Brandywine as far as taste. It's not quite as consistently large and texture certainly different. Our plants were hardy and demonstrated very good disease resistance. A great market crop, sandwich ready and very tasty. I really love this one! 80 Days.

    Foxnose tomato is a first time grow-out for us in 2018. We were very pleased who the results. True to the oxheart family, this variety produces very tasty, deep yellow oxhearts. They will keep you eating all season long. Many of our fruits are over 16 ounces but they averaged between 10-12. Vines are skinny and tall and loaded from bottom to top. This variety is very clean and crack-free, an advantage if you want to sell them. Foxnose tomatoes in your garden or on your tomato stand will turn heads. These are great for sandwiches, sauces, snacking and more. Tasty and memorable!

    Florida Petite produces the biggest sized cherries among all of the micro dwarfs. I have harvested many that were bigger than a ping pong ball. Fennel is one of the most popular herbs used in cooking today. Its flavor is so distinct, that you cannot mistake it for anything else.     Flora Gold Micro Dwarf Tomato

    When I first saw a ripened Flora Gold micro dwarf tomato plant, I was very impressed. I couldn't believe how such a short plant could produce such beautiful and tasty fruits. When I tasted these little gems, I was hooked and became totally opened to trying micros on a bigger scale. Flora Gold plants are a little taller than most of the other micro varieties. Ours consistently reached 8-12 inches tall. What stood out to me is that they did not need any staking. Plants are firm, strong and are loaded with fruits from the very bottom shoots all the way up! Bite in and you would find a perfectly balanced tomato with very pleasing under-tones. This is a very good cherry that performs well in 3/4 to 1 gallon containers! 72 days to ripen.

    Fleur de Regair tomato is another one that I absolute love. Without a doubt, this flattened tomato will perform well for making sandwiches an also in sweet dark spaghetti sauce. Big, dark red, deceptive tomatoes can reach 1.5 pounds and are grown on tall thick vines. These seemed to like hotter weather, which is surprising for a French variety. Fleur de Regair is very rich, sweet and very meaty. Vines have good resistance. Great for market vendors!

    90 Days. A huge, outstanding, yellow beefsteak, Flathead Monster tomato is a sight to behold. Sturdy, tall vines produce a nice amount of 1-2 pound, meaty beefsteaks that are sandwich ready. This monster has thick, sweet meat that works excellently on a BLT. Vines have good disease resistance and need to be staked well with regular revisions. Hide your sandwich bread with these!
  • Flathead Monster Pink Tomato

    I was surprised with the taste of Flathead Monster Pink tomato. Although I was expecting fruits above 2 pounds, most of mine were between 1-1.5. I was really happy that we decided to try this variety. Full flavored fruits begin to ripen about 85 days after transplant. This is a very, very good tomato. Regular leafed vines produce well, though not prolific. My three plants each produced between 10 and 14 fruits, with the later fruits being a bit smaller.  I will definitely be growing these again.
  • Flander's Contrast tomato is very unique in its looks. The green version of Blue Pear, this beauty is certainly a head-turner. Pear shaped fruits with antho tops, display varying levels of darkness. They begin to ripen about 72 days after transplant. Vines are about 6 feet tall and never stop producing until frosts. Fruits are mildly sweet, juicy and have a really good texture. Staking is essential because plants are relatively skinny.This is certainly a fine tomato for fresh salsa, garnishing, dehydrating, tomato juice and tons more. Try eating some straight off of the vine, very pleasing! Definitely worth growing!

    Being a Caribbean man, I really appreciate this pepper. Its heat is perfect for cooking some of my favorite dishes. I love to use them in my stews and soups. Fish pepper is an old African American heirloom that predates 1870. Plants have variegated white and green leaves. Peppers also display a similar multi-colored pigment, then turn bright red when ripened. The Scoville scale measures them at 5,000–30,000 SHU, which is hotter than a Jalapeño but still perfect for cooking delicious meals!     Fireball Tomato

    70 Days. Fireball tomato is a container variety that does well in the ground too. Skinny upright plants are tree-like and produce cherry-sized, bright red fruits that are meaty and sweet! We grew ours in 3/4 gallon containers and they did very well. I suspect they would do better in a 1-2 gallon container. Our plants were about 2 feet tall! These are perfect salad, snacking and drying tomatoes. Can be grown indoors and under lights.
