Dwarf Sibirskaya Troika tomato is perhaps the most unique looking dwarf variety we have ever grown. 2-3 feet tall, Tree-Like plants, produce a nice amount of fat, plump tomatoes that make excellent sauce. Fruits are sweeter and mild. They have soft flesh, nice aroma and good stand-alone flavor. Our plants displayed excellent disease resistance. They started ripening their fruits about 75 days after transplant. These will do well in containers, I recommend 5 gallons or larger. They will also do excellently in the ground! Some staking is required, as 2-3 inch elongated fruits can easily weigh plants down. Try these for your sauces. Great for small gardens or patio growing too. -
Helsing Junction Blues tomato is an antho cherry variety. It can get much darker than some other antho types. Our vines produce plenty quarter sized fruits that were tasty and kept well after harvest. Our first fruits began to ripen around the 72 day mark after transplant. These worked well for us at our local Farmer's Market. They are milder with some sweetness and earthy after-taste. Perfect for canning, garnish, snacking, dehydrating, market sales and more. They are head-turners when green or ripened, so plant them in a spot where they can be seen. Then the conversation really begins! Happy Planting Y'all! -
Ukranian Red Cherry tomato is one of the most prolific tomatoes that I have grown. They just keep coming, and coming, until they wear me out! They are a little bit larger than the average size cherry, but perfect still, for popping in your mouth on a hot summer's day. These have a balanced old-fashioned taste with sweeter tendencies. A good salad and snacking tomato. 70 to 75 Days. -
Camp Joy (Chadwick's Cherry) is a bright red, nickel sized cherry tomato that is totally worth trying. Tall aggressive vines are prolific and produce all season long, ripening their first fruits in about 70 days. Plants like our hotter summers . They showed no signs of diseases and produced till frost! Tomatoes have a good balance of sweets and tang. These are perfect for canning, snacking, drying and market sales. These are also great for market sales. Ours usually begin ripening around 70 days from transplant. Expect sweet treats until frosts. Will do well in containers also. We recommend 5 gallons or larger! -
Cherokee Lime Stripes Tomato
Deriving form a selection by Mr Bill Jeffers, Cherokee Lime Stripes tomato is a very visually appealing variety with fabulous taste too. Striking green and pinkish/purple bi colored fruits are usually about 6-8 ounces and are borne on heavy producing plants. These never stop coming all season long. These are sweeter with some acidic tones but very satisfying. Not a complex tomato. Great choice for Market sales, garnish, tomato preserves, slicing and more. -
In 2018 I grew many varieties of dwarf tomatoes. Some were good, some better and some excellent. I especially enjoyed the ones that worked well as multi-purposed types. Epoch Dwarf tomato, to me, is a multi-purpose variety. It's a slicer that works well as a sandwich tomato, makes good sauce, cooking, snacking and more! When thinly sliced and dehydrated it turns into some of the best garnish for your meals. For us, this was a high-flavored tomato that was well worth growing. 2-3 feet tall vines produced nicely until the end of the growing season. These work well in containers too! -
Purple Calabash tomato is a flattened ribbed, dark purple fruit, that grows on prolific vines. fruits are milder and juicy. Especially demanded by gourmet chefs for their beautiful ribbed look and intense color, this variety is very useful in many culinary applications. it's even good when sliced for sandwiches. Make some mild purple sauce with these. It works great! -
When I was first introduced to flowers, this was the one that really got my full attention. Never having seen anything like it, I was totally captivated. More than 3o years later, my love for the liatris family has never faded. Liatris-Blazing Star will fit well in any garden or pasture. They also do well in large containers. An attractor of many different pollinators, 3-4 feet tall stalks will be the centerpieces of your garden. It's literally impossible to look past them. Also a nice cut-flower, this perennial just keeps shining. Plants will develope bulbs after a few years. Bulbs can then be separated and transplanted for quicker growth of more mature plants. -
Penstemon digitalis
Penstemon digitalis is one of my favorite wild flowers in the whole world. About 18 years ago(2002) I was slowly driving along the country roads in Mitchell Indiana, when I suddenly noticed this beautiful flower. It was early season, perhaps June, and I couldn't harvest any seeds. About 4 years later these showed up in one of my internet searches. I purchased some seeds and have been growing them since 2007. A very beautiful flower, this is one of the hardiest plants I know of. It will come back year after year, while increasing in the size of its cluster. It also reseeds but not overwhelmingly so. Soft bell shaped, white/pink flower will emerge in early to mid summer. Attracts butterflies, humming birds, bees, pollinators and more! Your flower garden will light up with these, so get ready! About 3 feet tall. Zone 3-8. -
Casey's Pure Yellow Tomato
Casey's Pure Yellow Tomato is a supper tasting variety. I am so happy to have grown this one. Potato leafed yellows always produce some of the best tasting tomatoes, Casey's is no different. Full flavored, sweeter fruits, have superb texture too! These begin to ripen about 80-85 days from transplant, but fear not, you will really love them! Disease resistance is fantastic, indeterminate plants are a little on the taller size but produce nicely. You will get a good crop from these! Awesome for sandwiches! Dwarf Pink Flamingo Tomato
Dwarf Pink Flamingo is a pretty tomato that grows on rugose leaved plants. Our plants grew to about 3 feet and produced plenty of fruits that began to ripen about 65 days after transplant. I really liked the full flavored mildness of these. Sweetish, Pink Flamingo has very subtle hints of fruits that will get you hooked. Smooth fruits without many blemishes. Gezahnte Buhrer Keel Tomato
From now on, whenever I want a stuffing variety, I will first consider Gezahnte Buhrer Keel Tomato. That's because I made some really delicious meals with it this year. I stuffed them withe everything! Tuna salad, Mexican rice, pasta, mushrooms and veggies, scrambled egg omelet and more. Each time, they performed admirably. In some cases, we placed them stuffed with foods in the oven for up to 10 minutes and they did excellently. This variety is thick-walled, sweet and mild. It's present in your stuffed meals, but not overwhelming. Shorter and prolific plants. Fruits are large enough to make a good meal when stuffed. Plants showed good disease resistance. Additionally, they make fantastic tomato sauce! A winner for me! -

One of the prettiest okras that you will find, Burgundy Okra plants produce dark purple, 6 inch long fruits. Burgundy plants can be quite tall. I really love this variety's nutty taste and have eaten many raw, right off the plant. It is best to harvest these within a week of appearing on the plant. Perfect for frying or anything okra. -
Take a look at the pictures we posted for Tsarskiy Ljubimec. They will tell a story. The first impressive thing that you will recognize is when it starts fruiting. It holds a lot of fruits for a nice size tomato. Another impressive thing that I have noticed is that it hardly drops its blooms. We have harvested many bushels of tomatoes from just 4 plants! The true prize, though, is when you've sliced it. It is rich, sweeter, and balanced. Be sure to have a nice slice of bread ready, garnish it with some basil, cheese, olive oil, salt and black pepper...we have a winner! I recommend this tomato for any serious tomato grower and I especially recommend it for farmers market growers looking for quantity and great quality. -
75 Days. Rainbow Dwarf is that I am so happy I grew in 2017. Four feet indeterminate plants produce nice size bi-color fruits that ate absolutely delicious. They are fruity, have a very smooth texture, on the sweet side and have good meat. For me, this is one of the best dwarf varieties. These work well in containers too. Vines have good disease resistance. -
Slankards is one of the biggest oxheart varieties that we grow. Each year we harvest many fruits at are at least 1.5 pounds. Tall skinny plants produce abundant crops of pink fruits that are mostly extra large. Fruits begin to ripen about 90 days after transplant and will continue true fall. Fruits are meaty and sweet. Perfect sandwich and sauce tomato! -
One of our favorites here at Renaissance Farms, Ashleigh tomato is certainly a multi-purposed variety. Large red and meaty beefsteaks grow on thick, tall vines. They will delight you with good old fashioned, rich flavor! Tomatoes can weigh as much 24 ounces and begin to ripen around 80-85 days. Ashley is the perfect market tomato. Although it takes a little longer to ripen, you are certain to appreciate the wait. Vines produce thick, meaty and sandwich ready beauties, that are so good that you will bite your fingers! Siberian Pink Honey Tomato
Siberian Pink honey tomato is another good oxheart. I especially like this one because it's a little earlier than most of the others. Pretty pink fruits weigh about 4 to 8 ounces and ripen after 72 days or so. Fruits are meaty, milder and sweet. Overall, it has a really nice tomato for sandwiches, salads . -
Dwarf Perfect Harmony Tomato
If you are looking for a dependable dwarf variety to grow in ground or in a container, try Dwarf Perfect Harmony tomato. This variety is very hard working and determined to produce. My 3 feet tall plants produced about 6 ounce, canary yellow tomatoes. Plants were always loaded and withstood diseases very well. Perfect Harmony's taste is sweet, not too mild with a hint of acidity. This is a nicely balanced tomato. It has a straight forward tomato taste with no complexities. You'd enjoy this one! -
Long Red Cayenne Pepper
A really effective flakes and powder variety, I also use these fresh in soups and chili etc. Long Red Cayenne Pepper has middle of the road heat. When it replaces Jalapeños and used fresh in fresh salsa, it really shines. Two and a half feet tall plants are prolific and produce ripened peppers that are about 3-4 inches long. Fruits are a mix of straight and curly. Nice choice for Caribbean or South American cuisine. -
Auranticum Tomato
Auranticum tomato was a standout for us in 2018. We are introducing seeds in 2019. Five feet tall, multiflora plants, produce more delicious cherry tomatoes than you could harvest. Fruits are produced in bunches of 20-50 or perhaps more. Taste is sweet and fruity with mild tang. These are perfect for salads, snacking, canning and so much more. A perfect treat for market vendors. Great if your need is less plants and more production! -

Coeur de Surpriz Tomato
One of my biggest regrets in 2019 is that I didn't grow enough Coeur de Surpriz tomato plants. I grew out 4 plants and 3 of them were drowned in the flood waters in mid-June. When the remaining plant finally started ripening its fruits, I was amazed at how beautiful they were. Not wanting to eat many, in order to maximize my seed count, I tried a few. Then a few more, and more. Eventually I only saved fruits from half of the plant. These were sweet and fruity with a little tang. Very good little tomato! Bi-colored outside and out. Good choice for fresh eating, salads, garnish, dehydrating, fresh salsa, canning and more. Nice all purpose variety. Might I say again, very, very good! -
Fuego Verde Tomato
The ultimate salad variety, Fuego Verde tomato will not disappoint you! Another fantastic Fred Hempel production, this high producing and super tasty fruit will keep you wanting more. If you love fresh green salsa, these work wonderfully too! Our five feet tall, wispy leaved plants started ripening their fruits about 72 days after transplant and continued until the end of the season. They produced tons of approximately 2.5 inch, elongated, bi-colored green and yellow tomatoes, that were juicy and desirable. A really nice mix of sweet and tang. Perfect for canning, salads, fresh eating, market sales, dehydrating and so much more. You must try these! -

Gandolf Tomato
Gandolf tomato is a taller dwarf plant that has a vine habit. It produces some of the prettiest bi-color, red and yellow, blunt heart-shaped tomatoes. Determinate, stringy plants can be five feet tall and prolific. I have noticed that like Grinch Cherry, these hate to lose a bloom. As a result, mostly all of their blooms turn into fruits. Gandolf plants have to be staked early. -
Nature's Riddle Tomato
85 Days. Nature's Riddle is a medium sized, red and yellow bi-color, slicing tomato. Sweet and slightly fruity, this one is not in the mold of most red and yellows, in that it's milder and not up- front. This makes it good selection for those liking less acidic fruits. Vines produce plenty of 10 ounce fruits, are hardy and have shown good resistance to diseases. Expect your first ripened fruits about 85 days after transplant.
