75 Days. Chinese tomato was a brand new find for us in 2017. This is a very memorable tomato that will impress you with its uniqueness. Shorter prolific plants produce white tomatoes that can weigh up to 1 pound and go until frosts. For a white tomato, this one has a very forward taste. It's not mild! Fruits have a perfect balance of sweets, fruitiness and tarts. There is lots of juiced aroma too! This is a very good tomato that can be used for almost any application. It's also a great market tomato.One of my new favorites! -
Another new one for us here in 2017, Brunette was a big hit! This tomato has so much appeal and is good in every way. plants produce large fruits that can reach 1.5 pounds. They begin to ripen about 85 days after transplant. Brunette tomato is all about taste. Rich, juicy, meaty, great texture and aromatic ,are all descriptions that apply. Our plants had no diseases and blew through the season as healthy as can be. They produced until frost! Stake well, plants produce plenty! -
Black Sea Man Tomato
Black Sea Man is one of my favorite black tomatoes. Potato leaf vines are not to tall, perhaps 5 feet, and produce plenty of 8-12 ounce fruits. These are early to ripen coming in around 70 days after transplant. Fruits are very rich and sweeter with a nice juicy balance of tang. Nice full tomato flavor! I really love this tomato! It remains on my annual list. perfect for slicing, drying, sandwiches, salsa and delicious black tomato stew. Give it a shot! -
Big Orange Stripe tomato was among my favorites in 2017. in anticipation I waited to see if these were as good as advertised, they were! In fact, they were better than advertised. Big 1.5 pound fruits are delicately striped with reds. At a first glance, the fruit looks totally yellow, but upon further inspection, vertical skinny red streaks are perfectly placed. There is also some reds on the bottom end. Fruits are very clean, sweet, meaty and juicy. Perfect sandwich tomato. Great also for sauces, garnish and cooking. I love this one!! -
Barnes Mountain Orange Tomato
85 Days. Without a doubt, Barnes Mountain Orange tomato is a beefsteak I will grow every year. This huge deep yellow fruits can easily each 1.5 pounds. Many or ours have been bigger. Taller vines produce a good amount of fruits that easily drag their vines down, so stake well. This delicious beefsteak is meaty, sweeter and rich with lower acidity. 0-Days. Nairobi Nights tomato seeds were sent to me by my African friend. This is a very rich, balanced and delicious tomato that everyone should grow. For me, this is a complete tomato and it will always have a regular spot in my garden. There is some similarities to Black Trim, which is a good tomato, but I feel that Nairobi Nights is a far superior fruit. It seems to love hotter weather and just flourishes during the height of the season here. Add this one to your rotation of black tomatoes. -
As a sauce tomato, Jersey Giant tomato absolutely shines. Don't take my word for it, try a few. Three inch elongated fruits are firm, sweeter and have few seeds. They make some of the thickest spaghetti sauce on the planet. Vines are not too tall and are determined to produce. They begin ripening fruits about 80 days after transplant. Also good for drying for tomato flakes! Great as fried green tomatoes! -
Delicious Hunt Strain Tomato
Delicious (Hunt Strain) tomato is a beefsteak lover's dream. This tomato is so large, meaty and good that you would need nothing more if these were the only beefsteaks you grew. Strong, disease resistant vines, produce plenty of huge beefsteaks that often cross 2 pounds. I have been saving seeds only from the biggest and everything is over 2 pounds. These are the same seeds that I offer on our website. Fruits are balanced and full flavored. Just the best! Check out our images. Do with these whatever you want!! PS: I have a difficult time selling these at the market because they are so large. They sell better towards the end of the season when they are smaller and around 1 pound. -
White Currant is without a doubt the hardiest and the most stubborn tomato I have ever grown! It is so prolific and hardy that you will never be able to get rid of it in your garden. Plant it once, and it will always reappear. Dime sized, sweet, earthy fruits are light yellow and have a soft texture. They are not good candidates for market sales but perfect for snacking in the garden. Busy vines like sprawling everywhere and would rather not be staked. 70 Days. -
Bali Tomato
Bali tomato is a heavy producing Indonesian cultivar. Indeterminate 3.5 - 5 feet tall plants have regular leaves. They produce large clusters of fruits all summer long. Fruits have heavy ribbing and are raspberry pink when fully ripened and have very nice aroma. On the acidic side. A pleasure! -
Dice's Mystery Black Tomato
Dice's Mystery Black tomato is a sweeter black variety with low acidity. It is said that a stray plant grew out of a pack of seeds of another variety. Regular leafed plants are high producers of 5-8 ounce fruits. You can expect your fruits around Mid-season. -
Cherokee Lime Stripes Tomato
Deriving form a selection by Mr Bill Jeffers, Cherokee Lime Stripes tomato is a very visually appealing variety with fabulous taste too. Striking green and pinkish/purple bi colored fruits are usually about 6-8 ounces and are borne on heavy producing plants. These never stop coming all season long. These are sweeter with some acidic tones but very satisfying. Not a complex tomato. Great choice for Market sales, garnish, tomato preserves, slicing and more. -
Also known as Echinacea, I first discovered Purple Cone Flower about 20 years ago when I moved to Indiana. Since then, it's been a part of my gardens. A hardy perennial, this beauty comes alive around mid June, just about two months after last frost. Apart from its burst of color in mid spring/early summer, parts of this plant also has very significant medicinal uses. Among the biggest uses is as a pain reliever. When started from seed, you can expect these to bloom in their second year, with a larger core of plants each year. This is not a heavy reseeding variety, but each you will notice a difference that your main plants are increasing in diameter and amount of blooms they put out. Very nice and effective cut flower. Beautiful in any garden! -
My 80 year old mother, a lifelong pepperholic spent the 2021 summer with me. We made lots of hot-sauce dried a lot of peppers for flakes and powder. Most of all, we used a lot of fresh hot peppers in our daily culinary adventures. Chocolate Habanero pepper has and still is her favorite pepper for cooking and sauces. In fact, I still had some crushed flakes from her visit 3 years ago. Upon her arrival, she immediately used it up and prompted me to make fresh batches. I especially love this variety for sauces. Use them alone for some dark colored feisty sauce or mix them with other varieties for interesting complex heat. It's hot, so watch out if your pepper tolerance is low. In my family we chop these up into small pieces and have at least one piece with each spoon-full of food. The greatest fire in the world. Heavy producing 3 feet tall plants! -

Dwarf Purple Heartthrob Tomato
Beautifully heart shaped tomatoes with very distinct stripes of purple. Dwarf Purple Heartthrob tomato is a keeper for us. 3 feet tall, rugose leafed plants produced plenty of 4-10 ounce fruits that are very eye-catching. In 2021, these always turned heads in our garden. Taste is forward and excellent, with some complexity to its overall flavor. I love these. Easily among one of the most interesting dwarfs that we have grown. Should do well in larger containers. Limited seed supply! -
Joe's Pink Oxheart Tomato
A really smooth oxheart tomato experience is how I would describe Joe's Pink tomato. This one slices really nicely and makes a really good compliment for tomato sandwiches. its taste is sweeter and mild with a really good texture. Nice for sauces too! I like this tomato a lot. Plants are tall and have regular leaves that are not too wispy. Production is heavy, but a little later in the season. Your wait will be well worth it! Looking for a producer of big pink beefsteaks with superb flavor? Try Todd County Amish tomato. Large potato leafed plants produce big crops of desirable fruits. These are perfect sandwich makers. Taste is very old fashioned. Superb aroma when fully ripened. Not very seedy. You can expect your first ripened fruits about 80 days after transplant. I found my plants to be good with diseases, with no signs of early or late blight. One of my new favorites! Steak these well! -
A nicely colored antho tomato, Ananas Bleue is a real head turner! Regular leafed, five-six feet tall plants produce abundantly and showed good disease resistance for us. Fruits are mild with some sweetness and overall, have a good flavor. Our first ripened fruits were about 70 days after transplant. These may do good in containers too with regular feeding. Try dehydrating these or using them on a pretty platter. Try a few in the garden too! -
Moses Tomato
Moses Tomato is an exceptionally nice variety. Boasting a full flavored, old fashioned and sweeter taste, I happen to think it's the perfect compliment for a tomato sandwich. Indeterminate, vibrant plants have potato leaves. They produce amply, so you will have plenty of fruits. Ours started ripening just after mid-season. Plants also demonstrated good disease resistance, which I liked. Expect fruits up to 0ne pound. This 60 year old variety is a Kentucky heirloom that was first introduced by Dr. Moses of Williamsburg Kentucky. -
Texas Star tomato is a big beautiful bi-color variety with very pleasing taste. I especially like its fruity undertones. Large plants produce 1-2 pound, sweet fruits that remind me of the Caribbean. These were some of the last to remain in the garden as it got colder. Texture is superb! Great sandwich or garnish tomato. Great for fresh salsa. Add some chopped mango, cilantro, garlic, a pinch of lime juice, chopped onions and let it sit for about 20 minutes before you devour the entire thing in one minute. Whatever you choose to do with Texas Star tomato, it's certainly a worthy grow! -
Dwarf Perfect Harmony Tomato
If you are looking for a dependable dwarf variety to grow in ground or in a container, try Dwarf Perfect Harmony tomato. This variety is very hard working and determined to produce. My 3 feet tall plants produced about 6 ounce, canary yellow tomatoes. Plants were always loaded and withstood diseases very well. Perfect Harmony's taste is sweet, not too mild with a hint of acidity. This is a nicely balanced tomato. It has a straight forward tomato taste with no complexities. You'd enjoy this one! -
A very nice, larger sized cherry, Pink Ping Pong tomato is certainly a great snack, especially or anyone wanting a milder variety with good flavor. These are milder, sweet and slightly fruity. Pretty light pink fruits are produced on 6 feet tall plants. Production is good to excellent. Perfect variety for snacking, salads, canning and cooking. Can be a good farmers marked variety. Certainly worth growing and I will grow them again! -
Eva Purple Ball Tomato has long been one of my most reliable varieties. I thought I had them listed before but I didn't so I grew them out again in 2021 and here they are. If you are seeking a hard working, great tasting little slicer, I promise you, this is a good place to start. Additionally, its regular leafed vines are really disease resistant. That is also a draw for me. They are similar to Arkansas traveler as it pertains to reliability and size. These would make great sandwich tomatoes, excellent for market sales, awesome snacks and so much more. Really a solid choice for a dependable variety. If you haven't grown these, I recommend them -
If your aim is to grow a high producing, white variety with mildly sweet, fruity flavor, then here it is!. White Queen tomato is a very pretty, blemish-free fruit that weighs about 3-6 ounces. These are also a bit early to ripen, but not the earliest. Ours produced their first ripened fruits about 70 days from transplant. White Queen may not be what you consider a sauce specialist, but it makes some darn good sauce. I also love its aroma and usability in different situations. It's imperative to stake these regular leafed plants. You would like these, especially for production! -
Green Krim Cherry tomato is a pretty little tomato with good flavor. Green when ripened, 1-1.5 inch diameter fruits are on the sweet side with plenty juice. These are softish to the touch when fully ripened. Fruity undertones are pleasing and helps to complete this little package. Plants work hard, and although they breezed through our extended rainy times here, they really excelled when it got very hot. A good choice for cherry tomato lovers, if you are willing to try a green when ripened variety!
