Siberische Appletomat tomato is a semi-determinate variety with high yields. Fruits are beautifully red and yellow bi-colored and can weigh between 3 and 6 ounces. In 2018 we grew them for the first time and were pleasantly surprised with production. Our plants never crossed 3.5 feet tall and were among the heaviest producers in the garden. These also make excellent market tomatoes as they are real head turners. We had many repeat customers because of this variety. As far as diseases, these did well and never really showed any signs. Our fruits were milder and sweetish. These also kept well after harvest. 70-75 days to first ripened tomatoes!

I am very impressed with this variety that I planted this year for the first time. I grew it in a 5 gallon bucket, just pruned the bottom stems, it grew about 3-3.5 feet tall and just beautiful foliage. The taste is very well rounded and awesome in salad and sandwiches. The best part for me is that, not only is the plant prolific, its fruit have been looking & tasting perfect even through our cold wet fall season here in the Pacific Northwest. Has a longer shelf life too compared to the other varieties I’ve grown this year. Just kept it in a box on my table till it ripens, my other tomatoes have gone bad already, wrinkly and all, but this one stayed firm and pretty and taste so good. I highly recommend this one!
