Lucky Swirl is a medium sized bi-color fruit that grows on a four foot tall. indeterminate dwarf, tree type vine. It's evidence that dwarf varieties can produce larger than average fruits. This beauty is relatively meaty with plenty of real tomato flavors. It's just perfect for sandwich making! Vines have rugose leaves and produce a really nice amount of 6-10 ounce fruits, that could sometimes be even larger. These should be stalked well. You could expect your first ripened fruits around the 80 day mark and expect them to keep coming. Our vines have displayed good resistance to diseases. We do spray these with copper sulfate at least once during the season. -
85 Days. Janet's Jacinthe Jewel tomato is a large yellow fruit with delicate, vertical golden streaks from top to bottom. This sweet and juicy slicer makes some really good yellow spaghetti sauce. If this means anything, chefs that shop at our farmers market are fond of these. Thick and sprawling plants need staking early. They produce really nice crops of 1 pound, juicy tomato, that are as aromatic as you can find. Tomatoes are on the soft side and are always very tempting to bite into. Apply restraint! -
Bobbie is a member of the oxheart family, which I totally love. This tomato is all about taste. A pretty little oxheart that I first grew in 2014, Bobby tomatoes grow on wispy vines and begin to ripen about 65 days after transplant. Plants need to be staked early because fines are skinny and produce plenty fruits! as seedlings, they tend to fall over, even with light drizzle or wind. plants have good disease resistance and will produce until frost. Tomato are very good. They are juicy, fleshy, aromatic, have great texture. This is a great all around tomato! -
Pink Furry Boar is a fuzzy 4-6 ounce, pinkish, bi-color tomato. Vines are prolific and ripen fruits about 80 days after transplant. Fruits are mild, juicy and pleasant. Awesome tomato for slicing in salads and mild tomato juice. If you prefer a milder tomato with food overall flavor, this would be on your list. -
Sungella tomato is a pingpong ball size cherry that ripens to a nice yellow-orange color. Other than its obvious beautiful exterior, this fruit is delicious also! Fruits grow in clusters of 5 on a 5 to 6 foot vine and ripen pretty early in the season. Vines like to sprawl, so stake well. Great selection for salads, snacking, drying, and culinary purposes. 70 to 75 Days. -
85 Days. In 2015 we first offered Grant's Trustee as a new variety. Seeds were given to me by a friend who actually grew with Grant. It's an awesome slicing tomato that can reach 1 pound. Taste it and you will find that it's balanced and sweetish with good meat. Whenever I grow these, ti always make sandwiches with the first few ripened ones. Great for sandwiches, salsa, sauces and market sales. Hardy, disease resistance vines! -

German Gold tomato is a 1 pound, sweet fruit that is perfect for sandwiches and lots more. It's vines are about five to six feet tall and vibrant. In the mold of Pineapple tomato, bi-color fruits are beautiful and delicious. In addition to it's apparent sweetness, there is plenty of meat and some tartness. German Gold is a really good sauce tomato. Fruits start ripening around 80-85 days. -
Don't be surprised if Chuck's Yellow tomato becomes one of your favorites. These 8-14 ounce fruits remind me of Kelloggs Breakfast. It has a very solid flavor that is well balanced and full! Texture is super smooth and desirable. My plants were regular leafed and tall, about 6 feet. Production was very good and fruits are not too seedy. Nice tomato for sandwiches and slicing on a platter. Can easily be your GO-TO yellow beefsteak! You'll love this tomato! -
Black Spanish Round Radish
Also known as 'Noir Gros Rond d'Hiver', this unique radish is easy to grow and has been cultivated in the USA since the 1800s. These can be 3-4 inches in diameter and can be a bit spicy. Dark bulbs have a milky white and pungent interior, with crisp feel. Usually matures about 60 days after planting. When cooked, it loses some heat and is very flavorful. Plant late spring to early summer! If you are a radish lover, try these! Enjoy! -
KARMA Pink Tomato
KARMA Pink Tomato is yet another variety by breeder Karen Olivier and Marsha Eisenberg. Like others in this series, its vines are tall, wispy potato leafed and prolifically produce early ripening fruits! Pink has a sweeter, fruity finish that is perfect for snacking. I made some great preserves(jam) with these. These would work well for plating, and salads too! Indeterminate plants have really good disease resistance and produce until frost. Nice aroma and texture. Pretty when sliced! A winner! Good selection for northern gardens too! Try the KARMA series in your garden, you would love them all! -
Buckeye Yellow Tomato
What a wonderful treat in 2020. Buckeye Yellow tomato was one of the standouts in 2020. 8-14 oz fruits are very delicious and inviting. These, here in zone 5, begin ripening to a beautiful canary yellow with a pink blush after 75 days. This one is a definite keeper. Tall indeterminate plants produce prolifically and throughout the season until frost. Our plants remained healthy and did well without much tending to. This, without a doubt, is an excellent main crop variety, market variety and also awesome multi purpose use. Slice some up for a sandwich or just have one off of the vine. You will love it! -
Pumpkin Oxheart Tomato
This year, 2019, we were again fortunate to secure some really neat oxheart varieties. And Pumpkin Oxheart tomato is another fine member of the oxheart family! Medium sized fruits are nicely heart shaped and eye catching. Ripening to a nice rich pink, this selection has a mild and complete tomato taste. I would classify this as a sweeter tomato. I really like this tomato because it is not overwhelming and can fit into any scenario. Sandwiches, sauces, it has nice texture for salads, cooking, stews etc. It truly is a great tasting fruit. You can't go wrong with Pumpkin. Nice production and good disease resistance. Stake early for best results. -

Don't be surprised if you wind up growing Dwarf Mandurang Moon tomato in your garden each year. Little whitish/yellow cherries don't look like anything much at first glance, but they will surprise you when you bite into one. Fruity in mildish with very good balance, they are the perfect snack. 2-2,5 feet tall plants produce plenty slightly plum shaped fruits. Some fruits have pointed bottom ends. They begin to ripen about 72 days after transplant. These are perfect for salsa, snacking, canning, dehydrating and so much more. Nice texture rich juice. Perfect for container growing too! I was introduced to Velmahoza Magnate tomato about 5 years ago and I totally loved them. Somehow I forgot to grow them out again until 2018. This tomato reminds me a lot of Curtis Cheek tomato in looks, but has a totally different flavor and texture. Plants are wispy, as most oxhearts are. They grow to about 5 feet tall and produce pretty pink oxhearts. Our biggest fruits this year were about 14 ounces, but I would say that they average about 8-10 ounces. Ours always stand up well to early blight. Thick, smooth and sweeter meat that's made for sandwiches and sauces. Recommended! -
Absolutely one of my favorite tomatoes that was grown in 2021. Very productive and disease resistant vines produce about one pound beefsteaks all summer long. This variety is hard working and will be worth its keep in your garden. Fruits are deep pink when ripened have a full flavor with the old times feel. A great choice for farmers market, Evan Shewmaker tomato is a great choice for anyone who loves a big fruit with great flavor and production. 80 days from transplant. Stake well for best results! -
Tomahawk Pepper
Tomahawk pepper is a productive chili that's perfect for flakes, sauces, drying and cooking. Personally, these were some of my favorite peppers to grow in 2020. A very visually beautiful fruit, our plants were prolific and really lit up towards the middle of the growing season. Although I didn't make sauce with these, I have no doubt that these will make wonderful hot sauce and powder. Try making a hot sauce mix with some other varieties, especially milder kinds and you will have a great experience. Plants are a little tall. Green peppers are purple before turning red when fully ripened. I will be growing again in 2022. -
Zluta Kytice Tomato
A multi-flora variety, Zluta Kytice tomato packs nice flavor. Four to five feet tall plants are so prolific that you will have a tough time harvesting them. Sweet and fruity, yellow cherries, are not more than one inch long. They are produced on bunches of sometimes more than 50. Plant are study and early ripening, coming in at around 70 days. Nice disease resistance, good hardiness. These will quickly become one of your favorites! Perfect market variety! Great too for deserts, salads, canning and so much more! Zluta Kyrice is a wonderful, never-ending snack! -
Blanche de Prusse Dwarf tomato is a flavorful, slicing variety that grows on short, 2.5 feet tall vines. Plants have rugose leaves. They produce plenty, pale yellow fruits that grow in clusters of 4-6. Our first fruits started ripening around the 73 day mark and continued until season's end. I really love the taste of these, especially in fresh salsa and as snackers. They have a nice amount of fruity juice. Texture is also there! These are perfect for biting onto, especially on a hot garden's day. Try dehydrating some! Grow these in 5 gallon containers and you will be rewarded with tasty, yellow gems! -
In 2018 we grew quite a few exciting new varieties. Indische Fleisch tomato is one of them. Dark colored fruits are darker than most black varieties. They have green shoulders that fades as fruits become well ripened. Fruits average about 5-8 ounces and are born on vibrant, hard working vines! As far as taste, I loved, love, love these. They were perfectly balanced with earthy tones, some acidity and sweets too. Superb texture accompanied its taste, which assisted in making this tomato winner. Plants were about 5 feet tall and produce plenty! Perfect slicing tomato that will work well for sandwiches too. Try dehydrating some. Winner! -
If your desire is to have fine slicing variety, King tomato will fill that space. Perfectly balanced, this juicy slicing tomato is loved by everyone at our farm. Fruits average 10-16 ounces but some can reach 1.5 lbs. We have had many! Displaying good disease resistance, King vines are vibrant and sprawling . They produce plenty of deep pink fruits that begin to ripen about 80 days after transplant. This variety is perfect for market sales because they almost always blemish-free and beautiful fruits. Stake early, perhaps at time of transplant. When they begin to ripen, try eating some in the garden. You will always go back for more! -
I first grew Ispolin tomato in 2017. It blew me away with its consistency, fruit size, production and hardiness. I soon realized that it was a great to grow as a main crop. Fruits are sweetish, juicy and balanced. Our biggest fruits were close to 1.5 pounds but the average size was about fourteen to sixteen ounces. Ispolin is a very good sandwich tomato. You can expect your first ripened fruits about 85-90 days after transplant. Get ready for plenty awesome beefsteaks! -
Loxton Lass is the close cousin of Loxton Lad. It is a regular leaf, indeterminate variety. Fruits are 4-8 ounces and a very vibrant yellow. They begin ripening in about 70 days from transplant. These are also great for container growing (5 gallon plus). These are well balanced and delicious! A really nice slicing tomato! -
75 Days. Red Pear is one of the first heirloom tomatoes that I ever grew. I still grow them today. They are a very useful little cherry that can be used in many different ways. I use them for snacking, green as pickle, for market sales, for salads, drying for flakes, cooking and so much more. They are sweetish and balanced with a good old time tomato taste. Mulato Isleno Pepper
Mulato Isleno Pepper is an open pollinated variety that measures about 1,00-1,500 SHU. This makes it not a very hot pepper and much lighter on the heat than jalapenos. These are chocolate brown, shiny and beautiful when fully ripened. Similar to the Ancho pepper, but longer, fatter and sweeter. Typically used for frying, stuffing, mild fresh salsas, grilling etc. But you can use it for anything cooking. Plants are productive. -
Mikado Black tomato is another very nice variety with solid flavor. These make perfect slicers and are very good on sandwiches. 6 feet tall plants produce very pretty blackish fruits that average about 8 ounces. I really like the aroma these have when fully ripened. Our plants were good with diseases and withstood the heavy rains of June and part of July, to produce abundantly. Good choice also for stewing and market sales. Sweetish and smoky with very good after-taste. A nice selection for any tomato garden! -
I am not sure that I have ever grown a tomato with the physical characteristics of Yellow Stone tomato. Very tasty fruits seem flatter than I have experienced before. With that said, it's a solid tomato with nice fruity flavor. To me, this is more like a tropical fruit. It's mild juiciness will suck you right in. Regular leafed plants are about 6 inches tall and productive. About 75 days after transplant, you will begin to harvest red and yellow bi-colored ripened fruits that are around 6-10 ounces. They will keep coming through your growing season. A very satisfying fruit, a very nice find for me. Try these! -
Green Gables Tomato
Green Gables tomato is a very delicious green variety that every should try. This 5-10 ounce fruit is sweet, a little fruity and satisfying. Bred by Jason Haynes, this is truly a nice producer! Potato leaved plants are hardy and prolific. Ours were just under 6 feet tall. A perfect tomato for slicing, it also shines in green tomato sauce, on sandwiches, for cooking and garnish. I especially love its wonderful aroma when fully ripened. For those who have never tried a green when ripened tomato variety, this would be a great way to start. Stake and feed well and you should be well rewarded. You cant go wrong with this beauty. Plant a few, get your baskets ready and get ready for the ride!
