  • Kangaroo Paw Green tomato is a salsa lover's dream. It's also a great canning, cooking and garnishing tomato too. I enjoy them best right off the plant. This is a perfect variety for container or ground growing. I have successfully grown them in 4 gallon containers. A larger cherry type, I know you will have fun growing them, especially because they are early.  In the garden I plant them 2 feet apart. Vines are prolific  and fruits are firm, tangy and juicy. They begin to ripen about 70 days after transplant. Great choice for market vendors.

    If your desire is to have fine slicing variety, King tomato will fill that space. Perfectly balanced, this juicy slicing tomato is loved by everyone at our farm. Fruits average 10-16 ounces but some can reach 1.5 lbs. We have had many! Displaying good disease resistance, King vines are vibrant and sprawling . They produce plenty of deep pink fruits that begin to ripen about 80 days after transplant. This variety is perfect for market sales because they almost always blemish-free and beautiful fruits. Stake early, perhaps at time of transplant. When they begin to ripen, try eating some in the garden. You will always go back for more!

    If you really enjoy tomato sandwiches and great spaghetti sauce, Reif Red Heart tomato would do an excellent job for you! This versatile oxheart tomato can stand up with the best of them! Sweet, meaty and juicy, Wes tomatoes bear on plants that are about 6 feet tall. Vines are wispy leaved, skinny and produce plenty of 5-10 ounce, red heart shaped fruits. Expect your first ripened tomatoes around 75 days from transplant. Stake week and early for the best results!
  • Black Brandywine is a favorite of many serious tomato growers. Regular leafed vines produce 6-8 ounce very dark chocolate tomatoes that ripen about 80 days after transplant. Tomatoes are rich and full of old fashioned flavor. plants have good resistance but I recommend spraying with copper sulfate before blooms set and after first fruit set. This is a very good sandwich tomato. Try some is salsa too!

    Mulato Isleno Pepper

    Mulato Isleno Pepper is an open pollinated variety  that measures about 1,00-1,500 SHU. This makes it not a very hot pepper and much lighter on the heat than jalapenos. These are chocolate brown, shiny and beautiful when fully ripened. Similar to the Ancho pepper, but longer, fatter and sweeter. Typically used for frying, stuffing, mild fresh salsas, grilling etc. But you can use it for anything cooking. Plants are productive.
  • Turnip-Purple Top White Globe is just as its name says. Round roots turn purple on top and white at the bottom. These can reach between 4-6 inches but are best when they are a bit smaller. Mildly sweet when baked boiled or roasted.  Great in soups and stews too!!
  • Lush Lovely Tomato

    If you like growing antho tomatoes, this would be a nice one for you to try. Perfect sized fruits have pink bottoms and heavily darkened tops. plants, though not overly prolific, produce lots of fruits. Ours began to ripen about 80 days after transplant and were relatively hardy. Flavor is up front and forward, minus the heavy antho taste. ours survived extreme weather, including excessive water, heat and moisture, to produce until the end of the season. A good find for us.
  • Yellow Stone Tomato

    I am not sure that I have ever grown a tomato with the physical characteristics of Yellow Stone tomato. Very tasty fruits seem flatter than I have experienced before. With that said, it's a solid tomato with nice fruity flavor. To me, this is more like a tropical fruit. It's mild juiciness will suck you right in. Regular leafed plants are about 6 inches tall and productive. About 75 days after transplant, you will begin to harvest red and yellow bi-colored ripened fruits that are around 6-10 ounces. They will keep coming through your growing season. A very satisfying fruit, a very nice find for me. Try these!
  • Italian Sweet Beefsteak Tomato is a pink, 1 one pound fruit. They are on the sweeter side. I have actually had these seeds since 1999. They were given to me by Italian friend when I lived in the Bronx NYC. She usually grew about 40 plants on the side of her house each year and I would always walk by and admire. Eventually we became friends and seeds were shared. In 2020 I went through my very large seed stash and found about 100 seeds sitting there. They were in very bad shape, because I hadn't messed with them for more than 15 years and in those days didn't really take great care of my seeds. I eventually decided to try them in 2021. Germination was 4 seeds out of about 50, with only three plants eventually making it. These have good old time flavor and perfect for sandwiches. Our plants are usually about 6 feet tall, vibrant and productive. No serious diseases have bothered this one. Fruits are generally crack or blemish free. Some ripened fruits have slightly yellow shoulders that doesn't affect the taste of the tomato at all. These have no hard cores. Just a nice all round tomato that is such a pleasure to grow! Definitely worth it!

    Tomahawk Pepper

    Tomahawk pepper is a productive chili that's perfect for flakes, sauces, drying and cooking. Personally, these were some of my favorite peppers to grow in 2020. A very visually beautiful fruit, our plants were prolific and really lit up towards the middle of the growing season. Although I didn't make sauce with these, I have no doubt that these will make wonderful hot sauce and powder. Try making a hot sauce  mix with some other varieties, especially milder kinds and you will have a great experience. Plants are a little tall. Green peppers are purple before turning red when fully ripened. I will be growing again in 2022.
  • Blanche de Prusse Dwarf tomato is a flavorful, slicing variety that grows on short, 2.5 feet tall vines. Plants have rugose leaves. They produce plenty, pale yellow fruits that grow in clusters of 4-6. Our first fruits started ripening around the 73 day mark and continued until season's end. I really love the taste of these, especially in fresh salsa and as snackers. They have a nice amount of fruity juice. Texture is also there! These are perfect for biting onto, especially on a hot garden's day. Try dehydrating some! Grow these in 5 gallon containers and you will be rewarded with tasty, yellow gems!  
  • In 2018 we grew quite a few exciting new varieties. Indische Fleisch tomato is one of them. Dark colored fruits are darker than most black varieties. They have green shoulders that fades as fruits become well ripened. Fruits average about 5-8 ounces and are born on vibrant, hard working vines! As far as taste, I loved, love, love these. They were perfectly balanced with earthy tones, some acidity and sweets too. Superb texture accompanied its taste, which assisted in making this tomato winner. Plants were about 5 feet tall and produce plenty! Perfect slicing tomato that will work well for sandwiches too. Try dehydrating some. Winner!
  • I was introduced to Velmahoza Magnate tomato about 5 years ago and I totally loved them. Somehow I forgot to grow them out again until 2018.  This tomato reminds me a lot of Curtis Cheek tomato in looks, but has a totally different flavor and texture. Plants are wispy, as most oxhearts are. They grow to about 5 feet tall and produce pretty pink oxhearts. Our biggest fruits this year were about 14 ounces, but I would say that they average about 8-10 ounces. Ours always stand up well to early blight. Thick, smooth and sweeter meat that's made for sandwiches and sauces. Recommended!
  • Chinese Tomato

    75 Days. Chinese tomato was a brand new find for us in 2017. This is a very memorable tomato that will impress you with its uniqueness. Shorter prolific plants produce white tomatoes that can weigh up to 1 pound and go until frosts. For a white tomato, this one has a very forward taste. It's not mild! Fruits have a perfect balance of sweets, fruitiness and tarts. There is lots of juiced aroma too! This is a very good tomato that can be used for almost any application. It's also a great market tomato.One of my new favorites!
  • Mikado Black Tomato

    Mikado Black tomato is another very nice variety with solid flavor. These make perfect slicers and are very good on sandwiches. 6 feet tall plants produce very pretty blackish fruits that average about 8 ounces. I really like the aroma these have when fully ripened. Our plants were good with diseases and withstood the heavy rains of June and part of July, to produce abundantly. Good choice also for stewing and market sales. Sweetish and smoky with very good after-taste. A nice selection for any tomato garden!
  • Don't be surprised if Chuck's Yellow tomato becomes one of your favorites. These 8-14 ounce fruits remind me of Kelloggs Breakfast. It has a very solid flavor that is well balanced and full! Texture is super smooth and desirable. My plants were regular leafed and tall, about 6 feet. Production was very good and fruits are not too seedy. Nice tomato for sandwiches and slicing on a platter. Can easily be your GO-TO yellow beefsteak! You'll love this tomato!

    Linda's Faux Tomato

    I decided to try Linda's Faux tomato because I heard a lot of good things about it. My version was the potato leafed. Six feet tall plants produced heavy amounts of 6-10 ounce, bright red fruits. Disease resistance was excellent. Taste was wonderful and refreshing, with sweets but more acidic. I loved its  smooth and easy texture. I did try them on sandwiches with mayo, cheese, salt, pepper, basil and a little olive oil. It made some delightful sammiches! Neither flooding nor excessive heat or drought affected these. I will be growing next year, 2020 in larger quantities for market! These are definitely worth a try!

    Green Gables Tomato

    Green Gables tomato is a very delicious green variety that every should try. This 5-10 ounce fruit is sweet, a little fruity and satisfying. Bred by Jason Haynes, this is truly a nice producer! Potato leaved plants are hardy and prolific. Ours were just under 6 feet tall. A perfect tomato for slicing, it also shines in green tomato sauce, on sandwiches, for cooking and garnish. I especially love its wonderful aroma when fully ripened. For those who have never tried a green when ripened tomato variety, this would be a great way to start. Stake and feed well and you should be well rewarded.  You cant go wrong with this beauty. Plant a few, get your baskets ready and get ready for the ride!
  • Dwarf Franklyn County tomato is a special little thing. It's highly recognizable for its ridges and oblate shape. Our plants didn't make it past 2.5 feet in full sunlight. They produced bunches of 2-3 ounce fruits that were mild, juicy and flavorful but with a little acidic aftertaste. I like these for canning, tomato juice, snacking and cooking. Our indeterminate plants produced all season long. They also displayed good disease resistance. Tomatoes were borne on bunches of 5 or 6. Our first fruits ripened fruits came in around 72 days. Recommended for container or patio growing. 3-5 gallon containers can work well!
  • Lucky Swirl is a medium sized bi-color fruit that grows on a four foot tall. indeterminate dwarf, tree type vine. It's evidence that dwarf varieties can produce larger than average fruits. This beauty is relatively meaty with plenty of real tomato flavors. It's just perfect for sandwich making! Vines have rugose leaves and produce a really nice amount of 6-10 ounce fruits, that could sometimes be even larger. These should be stalked well. You could expect your first ripened fruits around the 80 day mark and expect them to keep coming. Our vines have displayed good resistance to diseases. We do spray these with copper sulfate at least once during the season.
  • Loxton Lass is the close cousin of Loxton Lad. It is a regular leaf, indeterminate variety. Fruits are 4-8 ounces and a very vibrant yellow. They begin ripening in about 70 days from transplant. These are also great for container growing (5 gallon plus). These are well balanced and delicious! A really nice slicing tomato!
  • Williams Striped Tomato

    90 Days. Williams Striped tomato is among the biggest bi-color varieties that we grow. Sweet and meaty beefsteak fruits can reach 2 pounds. Plants are vigorous, hardy and always perform excellently for us even through hotter months. Stake well, with regular revisions. Fruits grow quickly and super large. Great sandwich tomato but you can use it in any way you wish. fantastic market seller!

    Blot Pepper

    OUT OF STOCK, SORRY! To me, Blot pepper is one of the prettiest big fruits that I have seen. What's more, it's a very tasty sweet pepper. Peppers emerge with different shades of blotted purple, sometimes getting darker before ripening stage. As they begin to ripen, they turn light yellow, then yellowish orange, while keeping some to the purple blotting. This is a great stuffing pepper or it can be used as you would any sweet pepper. Plants produce a good amount of fruits that ripens from mid-season onwards. I real eye catcher for this multipurpose variety! Try them on a platter, mmmmm, delicious and pretty!

    Absolutely one of my favorite tomatoes that was grown in 2021. Very productive and disease resistant vines produce about one pound beefsteaks all summer long. This variety is hard working and will be worth its keep in your garden. Fruits are deep pink when ripened have a full flavor with the old times feel. A great choice for farmers market, Evan Shewmaker tomato  is a great choice for anyone who loves a big fruit with great flavor and production. 80 days from transplant. Stake well for best results!
  • Since I hadn't really seen Georgia Green Cherry tomato anywhere online, I decided to give them a try. I was also very excited about them because I love growing potato leafed varieties. I also found it interesting because it was a green when ripened PL and cherry variety too. This large sized cherry has a very pretty exterior. On its inside, Georgia Green Cherry is lime green and aromatic. Fruits were sweeter but mild, yet its flavor was big. No blemishes! These came on a little later but was well worth the wait. One of the hardiest varieties for me in 2021. Not many seeds. Let's help to make this one popular. It's a true find!

    Pepe Jose Tomato

    Pepe Jose tomato is a rare, large variety that caught me by surprise this year! In 2020 I had many of these that reached 2 pounds and more! When these started coming on, I was surprised how much they produced for such large fruits. Seeds were shared with me by my friend Terry at Secret Seed Cartel in France! These gorgeous fruits are relatively crack free. Taste is really old fashioned, balanced, with very nice texture. Sandwich ready! Plants were 6 feet and taller and produced all season. You would love these if you love growing huge tomatoes! Making a return in our garden next year! Recommended!
