Dwarf Bushy Chabarovsky tomato is in its own way, very unique. Fruits are visually appealing and have good taste. This variety is a really good choice for anyone growing dwarf types. Plants are short(perhaps 2.5 fee5) and determinate. They produce prolifically! Fuzzy fruits are about 4-6 ounces each and are blemish free. These are perfect slicers, for salsa, salads, fresh eating, garnishing and cooking. Plants are tree-like but still need supporting. Our fruits began to ripen relatively early and continued a lengthy production process., Our first ones coming in around 72 days. Fruits are slightly sweet and milder. Plenty juice! -
We planted Sailor's Luck tomato in a place where it could be easily seen in our garden. It took about 75 days before fruits started to ripen. I liked that they were prolific and also appreciated that they had good disease resistance. Sailor's Luck is an oval/blunt heart shaped tomato, which is milder but tomatoey. Bi-colored purple and green striped fruits have visual appeal! It's texture is not firm but not too soft either. It's not sweet or tart and its flavor is very good. It will be a good choice for cooking, fresh salsa, canning, sauce, and snacking. -
Myra's Giant Tomato
Heavy producers of big red beefsteaks is what you will get when you plant Myra's Giant tomato vines. In 2019, these were among the biggest producers for us. We harvested so many that we literally made tons and tons of sauce after seeding them. Big beefsteaks can reach two pounds, have sweet and tangy flavor that creates a perfect balance. RW Cephei Tomato
You may not believe it, but RW Cephei tomato is a fine sauce variety. Large fruits can reach 3 pounds. Ours average around 2.5. Ruffled, flattened fruits are bright red when fully ripened. Plants are not too tall and produce moderately, yet plentiful for such a large variety. I made some awesome tomato sauce with these. I also like them for stews, canning and, when not over ripened for sandwiches. Sweet, flavorful old fashion tomato taste. 90 Days! -
Dwarf Clare Valley Pink Tomato
Don't be surprised if you grow these every year. Dwarf Clare Valley Pink tomato is a high producing, early variety. Ours produced their first ripened fruits around 72 days from transplant. 2.5 feet tall plants produced plenty round fruits that were about 4-6 ounces each. These are sweet and juicy with a very nice overall flavor. These would also do wonderfully in smaller gardens or in containers. Good disease resistance! -
Reinhard Kraft's White Heart Tomato
I happen to think that Reinhard Kraft's White Heart tomato is one of the best tasting white/yellows around. I also like the variety's production and good disease resistance. This is a very desirable tomato to me. 5-6 feet tall plants produce 6-8 ounce fruits that are sweet, slightly fruity and satisfying. It delivers the complete tomato experience! They started ripening about 80 days after transplant. When fully ripened you'll find a beautiful pink blushing on its blossom end. This marbling can also be found when sliced! Nice choice for plating/garnish, slicing, cooking, sauces and of course eating right out of the garden! Another great tomato from Mr. Kraft, another win for the tomato community! -
White Icicle Radish White Icicle Radish is a favorite of mine. I am not a big radish lover but I can definitely deal with this one. These are crisp and can grow to 5-6 inches long. These have a slightly spicy flavor. Easy to start by direct sowing in early spring after frost has passed and again in late summer for beautiful Fall crop. Early maturity at 30-50 days. -
Clayton's Purple is a big, deep pink beefsteak that has fantastic flavor. Most fruits weigh between one and two pounds. Clean and crack-free, you would love these if you like them big and tasty. Its flavor is a bit like the old style tomatoes but not too much. It has a rich and complex finish that will please almost anyone who love that style of tomato. Plants are tall thick and robust. I made many sandwiches with these and truly miss them now that the season has ended. I will continue to grow these annually, whether or not I need seeds. One of my new favorites. About 82 days to first ripened fruits. -
How I wish I had grown more Longhorn tomato plants in 2021! These were sooo good! I am not sure what happened and how I only ended up with two plants, but I never grow two plants of anything! Nonetheless, I am happy that I experienced this delicious dark colored oxheart. Our plants were between 5 and 6 feet tall. Leaves were wispy but not excessively and plants produced plenty, though not prolific. Taste is well balanced, a bit earthy and satisfying. I especially love the texture of this tomato, just a smooth finish. Fruit size between 6 and 12 ounces. This is a perfect sandwich tomato. I didn't do anything else with it but I suspect it will make some good sauce. Without a doubt I will be growing this one in 2022. -
Blood Gulch tomato is a really neat little fruit that has a really interesting flavor! 2-4 ounce green and purple striped. Slightly elongated tomatoes are a thing of beauty when fully ripened. Boasting a mild and rich taste, Blood Gulch will make your salsa jump for joy! Vines are, fairly disease resistant, 5 feet tall and produce a good amount of fruits that bear in clusters of 5 or so. Vines begin to ripen their fruits about 75 days after transplant. -
Captain lucky White is a cousin of Captain Lucky. In my opinion, they have very little in common. A potato leaf variety, Captain Lucky white produces some of the most beautiful, light yellow fruits that average about 4-6 ounces. Fruits are sweeter, fruity and very juicy. They begin to ripen around 75 days after transplant. This is a perfect variety for snacking in the garden, slicing, cooking, sauces and perhaps market sales. -
75-80 Days. Watermelon tomato is a fat beefsteak that averages 1.5 pounds. It is a very good tomato that is juicy, fruity, milder and aromatic. Zlatava Tomato
75 Days. Zlatava tomato is a ping pong ball sized tomato that would surprise you. From the outside it seems like your average yellow tomato. When sliced, it changes to a beautiful ruby color which it reminds me of a ruby red grapefruit. Added to that, it is a really good tasting fruit. I have grown these for a few years and will continue to do so. Short plants are not tall, have good disease resistance and produce a good amount of fruits that that have a straight forward flavor. Moonstone Tomato
75-Days. Moonstone tomato is a antho variety that grows on two feet short, determinate, very sturdy vines. Fruits are dark on top, and a nice mix of green and yellow stripes towards the bottom end. The combination of plant size and fruit colors has attracted a lot of interest by visitors to our farm. Fruits are sweeter and mildly fruity with softer meat. There is also a nice tangy after-taste. Duggin White tomato is a prolific white variety, that I had the pleasure of growing in 2017. Three to six ounce, flattened, white tomatoes, are perhaps the whitest that I have ever grown. Vines have good resistance to early blight and are 5 feet tall and never stop producing. Plant a row of these and it will be something to see! Fruits are mild sweetish and juicy. -
85 Days. Marazini Oxheart tomato is one of my favorites. Like most of the other oxhearts that we grow, it has huge taste appeal! Fruits are very balanced and delicious with plenty meat. Sizes vary but most are between 5 and 10 ounces. Vines are skinny and tall. They are very productive and are usually the last plants left standing! Stake early and well. -
Rainbow Cherry Tomato
Rainbow Cherry tomato is exciting and refreshing. Nice sized cherry tomatoes are beautifully blushed with pinks and yellows and are sweet, mildly tangy and fruity. Golden Fang Tomato
Golden Fang tomato is a fat, meaty variety that is perfect for sauce, cooking and paste. 3-5 ounce fruits have a wonderful aroma and sweet pleasing taste. This tomato reminds me of the yellow version of Donkey's Ears. Plants have wispy leaves and skinny vines and would benefit from early staking. They produce plenty for such skinny vines. Ripened fruits are bright yellow and very attractive. For me, these are sauce specialist, but I did make some really good salsa with then too. Casey's Pure Yellow Tomato
Casey's Pure Yellow Tomato is a supper tasting variety. I am so happy to have grown this one. Potato leafed yellows always produce some of the best tasting tomatoes, Casey's is no different. Full flavored, sweeter fruits, have superb texture too! These begin to ripen about 80-85 days from transplant, but fear not, you will really love them! Disease resistance is fantastic, indeterminate plants are a little on the taller size but produce nicely. You will get a good crop from these! Awesome for sandwiches! 85 Days. Mega Marv is another huge red beefsteak that we are happy to offer in out catalog. Weighty beefsteaks will blow your mind with their consistent large size. Tall plants produce plenty of 16-24 ounce fruits that have really good balanced flavors. Well ripened fruits have the classic old time tomato flavor that works well for just about anything. -
Monomakh's Hat is the ideal oxheart tomato. Producing larger, baby pink, fruits that can reach 1 pound, this awesome variety is certainly worth its keep. We have grown it for the last three years because we can't do without them. Vines are tall and skinny so get your stakes ready. You should see your first ripened fruits around the 85 day mark. 80 Days. If you like oxhearts as much as I do, then you may want to sample Coeur de Boeuf Jaune. This yellow oxheart is meaty, milder and sweet. it's a great tomato for those not wanting a acidic tomato. This beauty is a full flavored tomato that can reach 14-16 ounces and is on the milder side. You'll have the entire experience with this one! Coeur de Blue Jaune vines are skinny and have wispy leaves, they can reach 6 feet tall and have good disease resistance. Stake them well and harvest often. Great sauce, salsa and sandwich tomato! Great for market sales too. -
5 Days. Lithuanian tomato is another new one that we grew in 2017. I am so happy that we did! Big pink beefsteaks literally beg you for two slices of bread, some basil, mayo and cheese. Unfortunately many of ours never make it that far. I eat tons of these right there in the garden. They grow on sprawling vines that need to be staked well. Lithuanian is very balanced and rich. Think true old time tomatoes! -
Dwarf Jasmine Yellow Tomato
This year, 2019, my dwarf plants performed and produced excellently. Every one showed great disease resistance. We had big harvest here on the farm. Dwarf Jasmine Yellow tomato was one of the best. It has to be one of the prettiest exteriors on any tomato that I have ever seen. Deep yellow, shiny and clean fruits are really eye-catching. They turned heads in my garden every time. Taste was superb and fruity. Nothing was overwhelming with Jasmine Yellow. It has the perfect blend of delicious flavors. A keeper for me. Plants are about 3 feet tall and produce amply until frost. Great slicer tomato. Looks beautiful sliced on a platter. Really good eaten right off the vine. Note: Most dwarf varieties do well in containers and small gardens. -
Rose Queen Cleome
A delightful view from any angle, Violet Queen Cleome will brighten your every summer's day. Also known s Spider Flowers, four to five feet tall plants are well known for their summer's long beauty. Easy to grow and germinate, these are great too in a wild flower setting with Coneflowers, Shasta Daisies, Coreopsis etc! Cleomes are hardy and do reseed. Easy to manage and always a talking piece! -
Elgin Pink is a very, very good tomato. Seriously one of the best for us in 2021. In doing some research for this variety, I discovered that there are two leaf types, regular and potato. Our version is Potato leafed and produced large crops of some of the best tasting beefsteaks that were consistently about 14-16 ounces. Plants were very hard working and vigorous. These came on a bit late but were totally worth waiting for. I would definitely recommend these as a main crop for market, as I already know you will have big production and lots of return customers. Stake well and be ready for some really outstanding tomatoes that would make kick-butt sandwiches. Try these! -
Texas Star tomato is a big beautiful bi-color variety with very pleasing taste. I especially like its fruity undertones. Large plants produce 1-2 pound, sweet fruits that remind me of the Caribbean. These were some of the last to remain in the garden as it got colder. Texture is superb! Great sandwich or garnish tomato. Great for fresh salsa. Add some chopped mango, cilantro, garlic, a pinch of lime juice, chopped onions and let it sit for about 20 minutes before you devour the entire thing in one minute. Whatever you choose to do with Texas Star tomato, it's certainly a worthy grow! -
Another good yellow beefsteak, Yellow Brandywine Tomato is really an all purpose, main crop variety. Totally different from Pink or Red Brandywine, this tomato is rich and delicious. Plants have huge potato leaves and are very sturdy bases. They can reach six feet tall. Fruits are a little bit late, beginning to ripen 90 days after transplant. Your wait will totally be worth it, though!
