We planted Sailor's Luck tomato in a place where it could be easily seen in our garden. It took about 75 days before fruits started to ripen. I liked that they were prolific and also appreciated that they had good disease resistance. Sailor's Luck is an oval/blunt heart shaped tomato, which is milder but tomatoey. Bi-colored purple and green striped fruits have visual appeal! It's texture is not firm but not too soft either. It's not sweet or tart and its flavor is very good. It will be a good choice for cooking, fresh salsa, canning, sauce, and snacking.

Reinhard Kraft's White Heart Tomato
I happen to think that Reinhard Kraft's White Heart tomato is one of the best tasting white/yellows around. I also like the variety's production and good disease resistance. This is a very desirable tomato to me. 5-6 feet tall plants produce 6-8 ounce fruits that are sweet, slightly fruity and satisfying. It delivers the complete tomato experience! They started ripening about 80 days after transplant. When fully ripened you'll find a beautiful pink blushing on its blossom end. This marbling can also be found when sliced! Nice choice for plating/garnish, slicing, cooking, sauces and of course eating right out of the garden! Another great tomato from Mr. Kraft, another win for the tomato community! -
Abraham Green Tomato is a very fine specimen. I believe it's the sister tomato to Abraham brown because they share almost every characteristic except for color. These are sweet and very smooth and very enjoyable!. A perfect tomato lovers tomato, if you are willing to try a green when ripened variety. These come in a little bit late, around 80-90 days from transplant, but they are absolutely worth. Plants are very vibrant and hard working. Production is good! Try these!

Try as you may, it'll be difficult to fine a variety as sauce ready as Big Girl tomato. Very willing plants produce nice quantities of 3 inch long, red fruits that have sweet and concentrated flavor. These naturally make some awesome sweet sauce. That's not all, they can very well and have good longevity after harvest. Our plants were about 5 feet tall and withstood everything weather-wise. 75 Days. White Tomesol is a smaller white tomato that can reach 6 ounces. It's one of the whitest varieties that we have grown. Vines are disease resistant and hard workers. You can expect your first fruits around 70 days after transplant. Vins are about 5 feet tall and produce bountiful harvests. We have absolutely no disease issues with this variety and it produces all the way until frost. I especially love the look of this fruit. White Tomesol tomato is fruity, juicy, slightly sweet and milder. A perfect choice for those seeking a milder tomato with really good tomato taste. Try some plants, you'll be happy that you did!

Duggin White tomato is a prolific white variety, that I had the pleasure of growing in 2017. Three to six ounce, flattened, white tomatoes, are perhaps the whitest that I have ever grown. Vines have good resistance to early blight and are 5 feet tall and never stop producing. Plant a row of these and it will be something to see! Fruits are mild sweetish and juicy.

85 Days. Marazini Oxheart tomato is one of my favorites. Like most of the other oxhearts that we grow, it has huge taste appeal! Fruits are very balanced and delicious with plenty meat. Sizes vary but most are between 5 and 10 ounces. Vines are skinny and tall. They are very productive and are usually the last plants left standing! Stake early and well.

Dwarf Bushy Chabarovsky tomato is in its own way, very unique. Fruits are visually appealing and have good taste. This variety is a really good choice for anyone growing dwarf types. Plants are short(perhaps 2.5 fee5) and determinate. They produce prolifically! Fuzzy fruits are about 4-6 ounces each and are blemish free. These are perfect slicers, for salsa, salads, fresh eating, garnishing and cooking. Plants are tree-like but still need supporting. Our fruits began to ripen relatively early and continued a lengthy production process., Our first ones coming in around 72 days. Fruits are slightly sweet and milder. Plenty juice!

Rainbow Cherry Tomato
Rainbow Cherry tomato is exciting and refreshing. Nice sized cherry tomatoes are beautifully blushed with pinks and yellows and are sweet, mildly tangy and fruity. These are really perfect for snacking, canning, market sales, garnish and so much more! If you wish is to try a new and very flavorful cherry variety, try this one. RW Cephei Tomato
You may not believe it, but RW Cephei tomato is a fine sauce variety. Large fruits can reach 3 pounds. Ours average around 2.5. Ruffled, flattened fruits are bright red when fully ripened. Plants are not too tall and produce moderately, yet plentiful for such a large variety. I made some awesome tomato sauce with these. I also like them for stews, canning and, when not over ripened for sandwiches. Sweet, flavorful old fashion tomato taste. 90 Days! -
How I wish I had grown more Longhorn tomato plants in 2021! These were sooo good! I am not sure what happened and how I only ended up with two plants, but I never grow two plants of anything! Nonetheless, I am happy that I experienced this delicious dark colored oxheart. Our plants were between 5 and 6 feet tall. Leaves were wispy but not excessively and plants produced plenty, though not prolific. Taste is well balanced, a bit earthy and satisfying. I especially love the texture of this tomato, just a smooth finish. Fruit size between 6 and 12 ounces. This is a perfect sandwich tomato. I didn't do anything else with it but I suspect it will make some good sauce. Without a doubt I will be growing this one in 2022.

Texas Star tomato is a big beautiful bi-color variety with very pleasing taste. I especially like its fruity undertones. Large plants produce 1-2 pound, sweet fruits that remind me of the Caribbean. These were some of the last to remain in the garden as it got colder. Texture is superb! Great sandwich or garnish tomato. Great for fresh salsa. Add some chopped mango, cilantro, garlic, a pinch of lime juice, chopped onions and let it sit for about 20 minutes before you devour the entire thing in one minute. Whatever you choose to do with Texas Star tomato, it's certainly a worthy grow!

Monomakh's Hat is the ideal oxheart tomato. Producing larger, baby pink, fruits that can reach 1 pound, this awesome variety is certainly worth its keep. We have grown it for the last three years because we can't do without them. Vines are tall and skinny so get your stakes ready. You should see your first ripened fruits around the 85 day mark. A wonderful sandwich and slicing tomato. Perfect for sauces and sliced in salads. Full of sweet meat!

80 Days. If you like oxhearts as much as I do, then you may want to sample Coeur de Boeuf Jaune. This yellow oxheart is meaty, milder and sweet. it's a great tomato for those not wanting a acidic tomato. This beauty is a full flavored tomato that can reach 14-16 ounces and is on the milder side. You'll have the entire experience with this one! Coeur de Blue Jaune vines are skinny and have wispy leaves, they can reach 6 feet tall and have good disease resistance. Stake them well and harvest often. Great sauce, salsa and sandwich tomato! Great for market sales too.

5 Days. Lithuanian tomato is another new one that we grew in 2017. I am so happy that we did! Big pink beefsteaks literally beg you for two slices of bread, some basil, mayo and cheese. Unfortunately many of ours never make it that far. I eat tons of these right there in the garden. They grow on sprawling vines that need to be staked well. Lithuanian is very balanced and rich. Think true old time tomatoes!

Out of stockBlack From Tula tomato is one of the varieties that got me hooked on the dark colored varieties. This full flavored fruit is rich, earthy and tasty. Our plants were never taller than 5 feet and produced big crops. We did have to spray them one time with Serenade for symptoms of early blight, but they did excellently after that. Our plants produced all season long! This is a good choice for salads, slicing, sandwiches, garnishing and more. These can do well in containers with proper staking. White Icicle Radish White Icicle Radish is a favorite of mine. I am not a big radish lover but I can definitely deal with this one. These are crisp and can grow to 5-6 inches long. These have a slightly spicy flavor. Easy to start by direct sowing in early spring after frost has passed and again in late summer for beautiful Fall crop. Early maturity at 30-50 days.

Elgin Pink is a very, very good tomato. Seriously one of the best for us in 2021. In doing some research for this variety, I discovered that there are two leaf types, regular and potato. Our version is Potato leafed and produced large crops of some of the best tasting beefsteaks that were consistently about 14-16 ounces. Plants were very hard working and vigorous. These came on a bit late but were totally worth waiting for. I would definitely recommend these as a main crop for market, as I already know you will have big production and lots of return customers. Stake well and be ready for some really outstanding tomatoes that would make kick-butt sandwiches. Try these!

Another good yellow beefsteak, Yellow Brandywine Tomato is really an all purpose, main crop variety. Totally different from Pink or Red Brandywine, this tomato is rich and delicious. Plants have huge potato leaves and are very sturdy bases. They can reach six feet tall. Fruits are a little bit late, beginning to ripen 90 days after transplant. Your wait will totally be worth it, though!

85 Days. Mega Marv is another huge red beefsteak that we are happy to offer in out catalog. Weighty beefsteaks will blow your mind with their consistent large size. Tall plants produce plenty of 16-24 ounce fruits that have really good balanced flavors. Well ripened fruits have the classic old time tomato flavor that works well for just about anything.

Bolivian Wild is a little yellow cherry that literally goes crazy with beautiful fruits. They are a little bigger than nickel sized and are sweet juicy and very good! These are perfect for snacking and salads. Great also for jams and jellies. Vines are not too tall and can easily be grown in containers. You can expect some ripened fruits at around 70 days!

We have had so much fun growing Strelka's Arrow that I don't know if our garden can ever do without them! This sauce specialist is mild and sweet with very few seed cavities. It is mostly all meat. Strelka's Arrow's vines are determinant, excessively prolific, short, and sprawling. They are perhaps the most prolific sauce variety that I have ever grown. Vines are bushy and cluttered, so these need to be staked and bottom leaves trimmed. Our vines never had any diseases. We do spray with copper sulfate right after transplant and again after first fruit-set. If you have little space and need high yield, this would be a good choice for you. Firm fruits are perfect for drying and canning also. Does well as a keeper.

Summertime Green Dwarf tomato is appropriately named in my opinion. For one thing, for me they begin to ripen right in the middle of the summer, around July 20th. The other thing about this bigger fruit, is that it stays quite green, never really changing colors much, even when it’s ripened. Rugose leaf plants are tree type and grow to about 3.5 feet tall. They display good disease resistance and produce some nice sized tomatoes, with the larger ones weighing in about 10 ounces. Its flavor is certainly a thing to behold. this one is on the it’s sweet with plenty juice. I also like that it has a little fruity kickback. Summertime Green is a great tomato for salsas, sandwiches, cooking and eating right off of the plant. Go for it!

Golden Fang Tomato
Golden Fang tomato is a fat, meaty variety that is perfect for sauce, cooking and paste. 3-5 ounce fruits have a wonderful aroma and sweet pleasing taste. This tomato reminds me of the yellow version of Donkey's Ears. Plants have wispy leaves and skinny vines and would benefit from early staking. They produce plenty for such skinny vines. Ripened fruits are bright yellow and very attractive. For me, these are sauce specialist, but I did make some really good salsa with then too.
