Barry’s Crazy Cherry Tomato

Barry’s Crazy Cherry Tomato

Barry’s crazy cherry is just what its name indicates.  Not only is it a good tasting little fruit, it’s also a serious producer.  These are in the vein of Ildi and Blondkopfchen, so if you decide to grow this one, you should get ready to eat plenty of sweet little cherries all season long!

Barry’s Crazy Cherry Tomato Vines

Barry’s Crazy Cherry tomato plants are multi-flora varieties, that are also indeterminate.  This simply means that they produce a lot more blooms and tomatoes on one bunch.  In fact, I counted about 30 tomatoes on one of my bunches! This is not uncommon at all.  Most fruits are sort of pear shaped, with some having a bit more of and elongated look.  Plants are vigorous and sturdy.  What I also love about Barry’s Crazy Cherry plants is that they show good disease resistance and produce what seems like millions of tomatoes all season long.  It is a good candidate for container growing and also market vendors.

Barry’s Crazy Cherry Tomato Taste

Barry’s Crazy Cherry tomatoes are medium mild, sweet delicious and very tasty.  They are also juicy and a bit fruity.  There is almost no recognizable acid in Barry’s Crazy Cherry tomatoes.  Try just one of these little refreshing little tomatoes that makes you want to keep on eating them.  They are great snacks for adults and kids alike!! This is a great little tomato for any grower to try!
