Taste Patio Tomato
If you are looking for a very good tomato for slicing in salads or for garnish, Taste Patio tomato will easily do the job. One of my favorite varieties in 2o19, by one of my favorite breeders, Fred Hempel! Plants are determinate and produce so much, that you will never stop harvesting them. These are very delicious in every way. Sweet, tangy, fruity, semi crispy and are so tasty that I ate many at first blush! Intensely colored bi-color fruits are about 2 inches long. Hardy plants with good disease resistance. A must try! Click Here to see it on YouTube!

Oh ya this one is definitely a keeper! especially if you grow in containers. I grew them in a 7.5 gallon nursery pot and they started producing pretty early. Sadly, in July we experienced a major heat wave and they dropped a bunch of blossoms and basically went dormant. I thought they were done for the season. Nope. After a few weeks of doing nothing they came back with a vengeance! I ate tons right off the vine and used them in salsa as well, and toward the end of the season I had so many I ended up having to give some away. The fruits are flavorful, juicy and sweet with a firm exterior so there is no splitting and no problems with blossom end rot whatsoever. They are excellent keepers both on and off the vine. Due to the firmness of the fruit it can be difficult to tell when they’re ripe but after a few I got the hang of it.
