Sturt Desert Pea Dwarf tomato is a delightful variety that ripens to a fruit which is deep red. Plants have rugose , regular leaves and about 3-3.5 feet tall. Fruits are about six ounces and plants are loaded, so early staking is imperative. Our plants did well in early spring during cooler weather and excelled in above 90 degree temperatures. Needless to say harvest were enormous! Tomatoes are sweetish and juicy with good balance and soft flesh. This is a perfect slicing tomato! Try drying some also Salsa,salads and fresh eating would be great ways to utilize these. Good disease resistance. 75 days.
