If you are wishing for a beefsteak that will consistently produce 1-2 pounders, Big Zarro tomato can fill that void. All of our fruits were very large to huge. Our biggest was close to 2.5 pounds, but most averaged between 1.5-2 pounds. Some of the smaller ones averaged 10-16 ounces. Plants begin to ripen their fleshy fruits around 85 days after transplant. Red fruits with clear skin are delicious , dense and may be irregular shaped. Taste is beautifully wrapped in an old fashioned goodness that will delight your sandwiches. A good choice for large tomato lovers! Early staking is essential.
