Crushed Heart Tomato
Crushed Heart tomato was one of the most intriguing varieties for us on the farm in 2018. We planted cared for them, but never really had time to really check out the fruits on the vines when they were green. Needless to say, ripened fruits turned out to be head-turners. Plants produced plenty and all season long! What I really liked about Crushed Heart is that it was one of the earliest variety to ripen. It did so even before some cherry types. Fruits were flavorful, meaty and had good texture. It had little to no antho taste. Great selection for snacking, canning, market sales, slicing and more. Keeps well after harvest!
