I have been been concentrating on some Chinese varieties since 2015. What I have noticed is that they have some very distinct characteristics. Most of them veer on the sweet side. Bejing Zao Shu tomato is no different. This three ounce, bright red tomato, is sweet and rich. It also has faint after-taste of fruits, of which I can’t really describe. All I can say is that it’s very good. Plants are not tall but they are prolific. These will work well for snacking, canning, cooking, dehydrating and tons more. It’s a good little all purpose tomato.
