Russian 117 is one of the parents of Orange Russian 117. This was one of the first oxheart varieties that truly captivated me. Its smooth textured flesh and density makes it a good candidate for some of the best sandwiches. It is a balanced tomato that is well worth growing. Delicious. Wispy leaved vines, 5 to 6 feet tall.
