• Angelina's Heart is so good that it should be a lock for any serious tomato grower. We grew it in 2015, 16, and 17, and each time, it was one of the first tomatoes to ripen in the garden. It even ripened fruits more quickly than some cherry varieties. The two biggest qualities that I like about this fruit are that they are prolific, and of course, very tasty. Fruits are between 6 and 12 ounces. True to the oxheart family, vines are tall and have wispy leaves. Their skinny bases makes it imperative that they are staked early. They are just waiting for the first rain to topple over. Meaty, sweet, and smooth is how I would describe Angelina's Heart. It will give you a full flavored experience that is hard to forget. This is another oxheart winner.
  • Cancelmo Family Heirloom

Anyone who knows me would tell you that oxhearts are my favorite family of tomatoes. There are very few that I don't like. I have had Cancelmo Family Heirloom tomato seeds in my thoughts for years but I never grew them out until 2019. What I discovered is that these have totally lived up to the good reputation of pink oxhearts. Very flavorful, tasty and mild, these have excellent texture and plenty meat. They are not as large as some of the others, but they are not too small either. Ours averaged 10-14 ounces., some were around 8 and we did have a few that were about 1 pound.  Skinny vines are prolific producers and will produce until frost.  A very nice canning, sandwich, market tomato.  Dont forget to stake well. Try these, you'll love them.
  • CJ Russian Tomato

    $2.75$3.75
CJ Russian is another new oxheart for us in 2021. I like these not only because of their good flavor but they proved to be a huge producer and very dependable variety for us. Plants were very prolific vibrant and hardy when some others were struggling. We got tons of these and I am grateful! Fruits are a pretty pink with little to no cracking, regardless of the weather. Taste is rich and mild. CJ Russian slices very nicely for sandwiches, plating etc. This tomato would shine as a sauce variety or even for canning when cut in halves or quarters. Great variety if you have a smaller garden and want bigger crops.

    $2.75$3.50

    Kardynal Tomato

Kardynal tomato is a very pleasing oxheart variety. Healthy plants produce a lot of 6-8 ounce oxhearts that are really versatile. They are so good for slicing too! • Lithuanian Crested Pink tomato was my favorite variety for looks in 2018. It was also high on the taste charts too! Wispy leafed  vines produce huge quantities of perfect, pink heart-shaped tomatoes that are head turners. Although these are a bit late to ripen, they are absolute winners! Pumpkin Oxheart Tomato

This year, 2019, we were again fortunate to secure some really neat oxheart varieties. And Pumpkin Oxheart tomato is another fine member of the oxheart family! Medium sized fruits are nicely heart shaped and eye catching. Ripening to a nice rich pink, this selection has a mild and complete tomato taste. I would classify this as a sweeter tomato. There is so much I could say about this tomato. Upstate Oxheart is a very large, pretty, and satisfying tomato with very few seeds. True to the oxheart family, this variety knows not how to disappoint! Our biggest this year have been in the 2 pound range which obviously meant that we had to stake very well. Oxheart are noted for having skinny vines and can grow really tall. As far as taste, this tomato has sweet mellow meat and is moderately juicy. It is in the vein of Curtis Cheek. It is weighty, solid and perfect for sauces, fresh eating, sandwiches, paste, catsup, or perhaps anything you can imagine. A really good all around tomato that you MUST try! Bite into one at the bottom end when fully ripened and mmmmmm......it's over! See it on YouTube!
  • I was introduced to Velmahoza Magnate tomato about 5 years ago and I totally loved them. Somehow I forgot to grow them out again until 2018.  This tomato reminds me a lot of Curtis Cheek tomato in looks, but has a totally different flavor and texture. Plants are wispy, as most oxhearts are. They grow to about 5 feet tall and produce pretty pink oxhearts. Our biggest fruits this year were about 14 ounces, but I would say that they average about 8-10 ounces. Ours always stand up well to early blight. Thick, smooth and sweeter meat that's made for sandwiches and sauces. Recommended!
  • Work Release Paste Tomato

Work Release Paste Tomato is an outstanding sauce and paste variety. Prolific, indeterminate plants produce 8-16 ounce, pink oxhearts that are pretty and clean. These are meaty, mildly sweet, have really good tomato flavor and nonstop! Bushy plants have good disease resistance too! Great choice for canning, sauce, paste and ketchup. I happen to think it's a great all purpose variety, which includes sandwiches! Try these!
