• Belmonte Tomato

    $2.50$3.50

    Belmonte Tomato

Belmonte tomato is a large red beefsteak that grows on tall strong vines. It produces a really good amount of fruits that can compete with the best of them. What I really like about this tomato is that it's vines always blow through diseases. that determination to produce makes them a regular in my garden. Fruits begin to ripen about 80 days after transplant and continue all the way till frost. Our biggest fruits were in the 1.5 pound range and smallest around 10 ounces. Tomatoes are juicy, sweeter and overall well balanced. This is a perfect sandwich tomato that has some similarities to Pink Brandywine. Also great for market vendors.
  • Cleota Pink Tomato

    $2.50$3.50
I am so excited to write about this tomato that I am all tingly inside. Cleota Pink tomato was one of our best 5 selections In 2017. Out of 200 varieties grown, Cleota Pink was one of the standouts! Extra large tomatoes, constantly cross 1.5 pounds and even produce plenty of 2 pound and bigger fruits. This big beauty is very meaty and balanced. I haven't really tasted a beefsteak quite like it. Vines are potato leaf and grow to about 6 feet tall in full sunlight. Fruits begin to ripen about 85 days after transplant and continue on until frost. Do with this beauty whatever you want! Please check out our 1-2 pound tomato category for more interesting varieties.
  • Fleur de Reagir Tomato

    $2.50$3.50
Fleur de Regair tomato is another one that I absolute love. Without a doubt, this flattened tomato will perform well for making sandwiches an also in sweet dark spaghetti sauce. Big, dark red, deceptive tomatoes can reach 1.5 pounds and are grown on tall thick vines. These seemed to like hotter weather, which is surprising for a French variety. Fleur de Regair is very rich, sweet and very meaty. Vines have good resistance. Great for market vendors!
  • Gigant Farina Tomato

    $2.75$3.75

    Gigant Farina Tomato

Need big? You've got it right here! Just look at the images and you will know that Giant Farina tomato is the real deal! Sweet and flavorful fruits can weigh 2.5 pounds with many being over 2 pounds. Our plants were around 5 feet tall and produced well for such a large fruited variety. These were a little later to ripen but totally worth the wait. I made some fine tomato sauce with these. I also made super sandwiches. Giant Farina is sweeter and forward tasting. I think its best uses would be sauce, sandwiches and cooking. But do with it whatever you wish. I'm sure it will be fine!!
  • Gordo De Patones Tomato

If you are looking for consistently large fruits, try Gordo De Patones Tomato. These were very large in 2020. They averaged 1.5-2.5 pounds consistently! This is a very good BLT tomato! These plants produced plenty, for having such large fruits. Taste was a milder mix of tarts and sweets. Very good old fashioned flavor and nice texture too! Another one that showed good disease resistance. Plants, and sometimes fruits, need tons of support! A big tomato for a big tomato gardener!
  • La Vie En Rose Tomato

    $2.75$3.75

    La Vie En Rose Tomato

La Vie En Rose tomato is one of the most productive, large fruits that I have ever grown. 1 pound fruits are sweet, flavorful and satisfying. Plants are very hard workers and produce prolifically, considering fruit size. I was gifted seeds for these by my friend, Terry at Secret Seed Cartel. Here is her quote. "This tomato is the result of a naturally occurring cross between Claude Brown’s Yellow Giant x unknown pink in the SSC garden. It produced a pink variant and a yellow sister named Moonshiner’s Ball". Our plants were about five to six feet tall and produced 10-20 ounce tomatoes that were prettiest that we grew in 2019. Our first fruits ripened around day 86. Get ready to fill your baskets with lots and lots of big pink tasty tomatoes. Stake well and early for best results. These would make great eye-catchers at your farm stand or market!
  • Tuxhorn's Red And Yellow is perhaps the sweetest bi-color that we have grown. Tall vines produce a good quantity of big fruits that can reach 5 pounds. When sliced, a beautiful canvas of reds and yellows complimented with a rich tomatoey aroma easily stimulates the salivary glands. The proof, though, is in the eating! At first bite, there is a sugar rush that pulls you in and renders you hooked. Tuxhorn is mostly sweet and fruity with a good, meaty texture. 85 to 90 days. Stake well.
  • Upstate Oxheart Tomato

    $3.25$4.50
There is so much I could say about this tomato. Upstate Oxheart is a very large, pretty, and satisfying tomato with very few seeds. True to the oxheart family, this variety knows not how to disappoint! Our biggest this year have been in the 2 pound range which obviously meant that we had to stake very well. Oxheart are noted for having skinny vines and can grow really tall. As far as taste, this tomato has sweet mellow meat and is moderately juicy. It is in the vein of Curtis Cheek. It is weighty, solid and perfect for sauces, fresh eating, sandwiches, paste, catsup, or perhaps anything you can imagine. A really good all around tomato that you MUST try! Bite into one at the bottom end when fully ripened and mmmmmm......it's over! See it on YouTube!
  • Vechnyi Zov Tomato

    $2.50$3.50
Vechnyi Zov Tomato Vechnyi Zov is another excellent pink tomato that we grew in 2017. To be honest, this one surprised me. What I like most about it, is the tad bit of fruitiness that kicked in long after it was eaten. This is not a shy tomato--it tells you what it was made for. It is a sandwich specialist. Its vines are tall and excessively prolific. They seem to love the heat and never really got bothered by diseases. We had tomatoes until Fall.
