• Barby Tomato

    $2.75$3.75

    Barby Tomato

Another new and rare determinate variety here in 2019, Barby tomato is perhaps my favorite of them all. Short plants produce big crops of deep red, blemish-free and flavorful fruits. These are perfect little slicers too. Along with Birch, these two produced a bunch of early and tasty fruits. I especially love Barby because it showed no signs of diseases and held up very well, even in a tough season. Perfect for cooking, juicing, snacking, canning, stews and more. Good choice for early market tomatoes. I also suspect that they will perform admirably in containers of perhaps 4 gallons and larger. Try these you will like them.
  • Birch Tomato

    Birch Tomato

Birch tomato is a determinate variety that is early and prolific. Deep red fruits have good texture, are mildly sweet and juicy. Three feet tall plants start producing early and are hardy and dependable. I especially loved the nice and tasty balance that the fruits had.  Plants have to be staked because of large production. 3-6 ounce fruits are deep red and begin to ripen about 70-75 days after transplant. They produce bunches of about 5-7 fruits that begin to ripen in quick succession. Perfect size tomatoes for munching on. These would also make great tomato juice. I made tomato stew with some too. Delicious!
  • Birdie Jaune Micro Dwarf Tomato

Yet another tasty and exciting variety to grow, Birdie Jaune micro dwarf tomato is a solid choice for container and small garden growing. Our rugose leafed, 10 inch plants, produced canary yellow cherries that were sweet over tart with a very refreshing feel. Our plants started ripening fruits about 67 days from transplant and continued producing for quite a while. Does well under grow lights or outside. 3/4 to 1 gallon containers are perfect for these. If you are trying to grow your micro Dwarf collection or trying them for the first time, try these, you will like them!
  • Caro Rich Tomato

    $2.50$3.50
I was very pleased with Caro Rich tomato in 2018. Our 3.5 feet tall, determinate plants produce prolifically. Fruits were between 4 and 6 ounces and loaded with richness and fruitiness. It isn't a sweeter variety. Ours were mildly sweet, had good balanced and satisfying! Some were fruit-like! What I liked also, is that they had decent keep after harvest. Plants should still be staked. These are perfect for slicing, snacking, canning and even mild yellow tomato sauce. They will also work well if you are a market vendor or have a tomato stand. I will definitely be growing these again in 2019 and beyond! See it on Youtube!
  • I couldn't believe my eyes when my Dwarf Pepper Like Striped tomato plants stared ripening their fruits. They were loaded and looked like pinstriped decorations. Determinate plants were about 2 feet tall and had so many fruits on them that they had to be well staked from the start. 2 inch long fruits turned from green to a beautiful red and yellow pinstripe. they were, mildly sweet, flavorful with good overall flavor. not too much juice. These were great sauce makers too! A good keeper after harvest! Perfect for sauces, salsa, cooking, garnish, market sales and more.  Great for container growing!
  • Earliest Of All Tomato

    $2.25$3.25

    Earliest Of All Tomato

If you are looking for an early variety with good production and taste, try Earliest Of All tomato. Though not the earliest in our garden, these were still very early. Ours started ripening about 68 days from transplant. Short plants produced larger cherries that are tart and strong. Ours did get slightly sweeter as the season progressed. Texture is good. These are perfect for canning, cooking, juicing and fresh eating. Nice short-season variety!
  • Early Pak Tomato

    $2.25$3.25

    Early Pak Tomato

A determinate variety, Early Pack tomato is the perfect early variety. Smaller slicing tomatoes have good flavor and nice texture. Plants are prolific and very hardy. In 2019 ours were planted in low laying ground and were flooded for 3 weeks, yet they pulled through while other varieties crumbled. Bright red, 3-4 ounce fruits have nice balance, are on the tart side and are really good on a sandwich. I haven't tried these any other way than on sandwiches and eating off the vine. It is well worth it for me to grow these annually. 68-70 days to ripen from transplant. Seed Source: Plant Gene Resources Of Canada-CN 16426.
  • After years of growing it out, I still cannot get over this tomato. Favorite de Bretagne is unique through and through. 2-3 inch long fruits pack excellent, rich, fruity and sweet flavors that are breath taking. Prolific, determinate plants that hate to drop blooms are very beautiful! They grow no taller than 2.5 feet and are sprawled. These are perfect for containers or in the ground and can be grown without stakes. Good disease resistance. Also perfect for sauce, salsas, garnishing, chefs, cooking drying and eating right off the vine. Grow some plants for the farmers market.  Get ready to eat plenty! Big hit!
