    Just so you would know, out of about 120 new varieties for 2020/2021, African Queen tomato is the very first listing. This is so because it is one of the most memorable varieties for our season. I love everything about this variety. 1-1.5 pound fruits grow on healthy potato leafed vines that can reach 6 feet. Production is fantastic and non-stop. One of the earliest large varieties to ripen for us. Our plants were loaded from the very bottom, all the way to the very top. Excellent disease resistance. Taste is very balanced and memorable. Not too sweet or acidic. Texture is superb, just waiting for you to bite into. Excellent choice for sandwiches, market sales and a lot more. Perfect as a main crop. You must grow this one!!

    AH Scorpii Tomato

    It almost seems impossible how many huge tomatoes one AH Scorpii can produce. They are not prolific producers, but they produce plenty, considering the massive size of the fruits! Many of ours easily surpassed 2 pounds. With these you won't get too many small tomatoes on your vines. Everyone is large. When well ripened, AH Scorpii fruits are a nice pink color that is very appealing to the eye. The true surprise is in the taste. These full flavored fruits will keep you eating all day long. The thick rich meat is juicy and nicely textured. Not sweet or tart, just right. Sandwiches would love these! It's a keeper for me from now on!
  • Our biggest surprise in 2021, Alleghany Sunset has earned its place in our forever garden. Prolific plants just kept pumping them out and we took all that we could get. This is a fruity and sweeter variety that will ripen a little later but is definitely worth the wait.  Bi-colored fruits of yellow and reds are produced on regular leafed plants that grow to about 6 feet tall. They demonstrated nice disease resistance and held on until season's end. A perfect choice for slicing, garnish/plating, markets, sweet sauce, sandwiches, dehydrating or just sinking your teeth into. Tomatoes weigh between 8 and 16 ounces and bursting with beauty! Try these, you'll love them!
  • Aunt Swarlo's Polish Plum Tomato

    A wonderful, large oxheart that can range from blunt to perfectly heart shaped. Fruits can weigh as much as 2 pounds. Sweet flesh that lends itself to sweet thick sauce and stew. Like Goatbag , Aunt Swarlo's Polish Plum tomato is a later variety, ripening its fruits around 90-95 days from  transplant. Plants have wispy leaves and  are are about 6 feet tall. Sweet, old-fashioned flavor with nice tasty meat! A true treat if you can wait!

    85 Days. If you like plenty of solid meat in your beefsteaks, Behemoth king tomato will meet your expectations! Huge 1-3 pounds beefsteaks on tall, strong vines, are in clusters of about 3-4. Plants have good disease resistance and are determined to produce. Early staking is essential. At times fruit support may also be necessary! Ours relished the hotter, dryer months and did well in the wetter times too. As far as taste, Behemoth King tomato is sweet, really balanced and medium juicy. Sweets, tang and richness are all flavors you will experience when you bite into one! Get ready for a treat!

    A very large and meaty oxheart tomato, Big Dolly Red did not disappoint in 2021. Wispy leaved and tall plants produced fruits that weighed between 8 ounces and 2 pounds. These began to ripen about 85 days after transplant and continued until season's end. BDR is meaty with great texture for sandwiches, or even sauces. Flavor is robust, forward and complete. Hardy plants and good production. If you are looking for a oxheart variety that produces consistently large fruits, try this one! Stake well!

    I really appreciate a well balanced red tomato. Church tomato is just that. About 1 pound beefsteaks are meaty and delicious. Tough plants are about 6 feet tall, eager to produce and hard workers. Ours showed no signs of diseases in 2019. Plants produce nice crops of deep red fruits, that are in clusters of 3 or 4. Ours began ripening about 80 days after transplant. Perfect sandwich tomato. Not to large or too juicy. Our largest was about 1.3 pounds. Great market tomato. Good also for cooking with. Made some great fried green tomatoes with these! Lovely choice for any tomato garden!

    Domingo tomato is a fat, unapologetic beefsteak with fantastic taste. Fruits can reach 2.5 pounds but average 1.5. Sweeter, meaty, old fashioned taste will suck you in and keep you wanting more. Perfect for sandwiches and so much more. Production is good for such a large variety, but not prolific. Pink fruits begin to ripen about 85 days after transplant. Our plants had good resistance to early and late blight. These will benefit from early staking and deep watering every once in a while. Great looking, crack free fruits! You will need to find your slice of bread under these. They are huge! A keeper for me!

This is a very determined and hard working variety that I feel everyone should grow. Great for first-time growers wanting to grow huge tomatoes. Vines are vibrant, sprawling and thick. Some bottom pruning may be needed. Fruits are meaty, balanced and delicious. Great sauce and sandwich tomato!

    Giant Kalian Tomato

    A very pleasing tomato, Giant Kalian tomato took me by surprise this year.  Our plants were really vibrant and disease-free. I really loved production also. These produced quite nicely until late in the season. Fruits were between 8 and 16 ounces, pink shinned and very, very good!  These even tasted good when not fully ripened. They remind me somewhat of Dester tomato, which, to me is one of the best beefsteaks ever! These are perfect for anything, really! Sandwiches will shine when you use this variety! Give it a shot!
  • Giant Red Oxheart Tomato is a variety that often weighs 1-2 pounds. Our tall, wispy leafed plants are always good producers and hard workers. Our biggest fruits have been well over 2 pounds with the smallest around 12 ounces. I really like the usability of this variety. It's great for sauces, cooking, paste and because of it's meatiness, even perfect for sandwiches. Not a lot of seeds in this one. A really good and dependable variety that can also be a good market seller! 80 days from planting to first ripened fruits!

    85 Days. Hillbilly is a potato leaf variety that is as popular as Cherokee Purple and the Brandywines. Sturdy plants produce big crops of red and yellow bi-color tomatoes that can reach 1.5 pounds. Also known as Hillbilly Potato Leaf Tomato, these can easily be used as a main crop for sales. Plants have potato leaves and are hardy. Ours have always shown good disease resistance. These have also performed well in hotter conditions. Fruits are sweet, meaty and delicious. They are perfect sandwich tomatoes! If you are seeking a reliable bi-color fruit that would be perfect in most situations, Hillbilly tomato would do the job!
  • Holy Land Tomato

    Big, hefty beefsteaks are what you will get when you grow out Holy Land Tomato. Our plants were tall and loaded with 1-2 lb tomatoes that kept coming until cooler weather. Fruits began to ripen about 85 days after transplant. I just had to eat the very first ripened fruit. It was sweet, meaty, flavorful and satisfying. I also love that these have good, old time flavor. Holy Land is the perfect compliment to two slices of bread, some mayo, lettuce, good cheese, salt and pepper. If you can't locate any of those things, simply eat it right off the vine, it's super delicious that way.
  • Italian Sweet Beefsteak Tomato is a pink, 1 one pound fruit. They are on the sweeter side. I have actually had these seeds since 1999. They were given to me by Italian friend when I lived in the Bronx NYC. She usually grew about 40 plants on the side of her house each year and I would always walk by and admire. Eventually we became friends and seeds were shared. In 2020 I went through my very large seed stash and found about 100 seeds sitting there. They were in very bad shape, because I hadn't messed with them for more than 15 years and in those days didn't really take great care of my seeds. I eventually decided to try them in 2021. Germination was 4 seeds out of about 50, with only three plants eventually making it. These have good old time flavor and perfect for sandwiches. Our plants are usually about 6 feet tall, vibrant and productive. No serious diseases have bothered this one. Fruits are generally crack or blemish free. Some ripened fruits have slightly yellow shoulders that doesn't affect the taste of the tomato at all. These have no hard cores. Just a nice all round tomato that is such a pleasure to grow! Definitely worth it!
  • Japanese Oxheart Tomato

    The Japanese Oxheart tomato variety are large pink fruit with dense, mildly sweet meat. It is perfect for those not liking a strong tomato but want lots of flesh for their sandwiches. In our grow-outs, plants were bushier and sorter than most oxheart varieties. Ours barely made it to 5 feet tall. plants produced  huge, beautiful and perfectly shaped hearts, that were between 1o ounces and 1.5 pounds. Because to it's density, fruits are usually heavier than they look. Few seeds very pleasing taste. Eye pleasing! I am definitely growing these again!  Stake well and early.   88 Days to first ripened fruits!
  • Liften Yellow Tomato

    85 Days. Liften Yellow is a sweet bi-color fruit that can approach 1.5 pounds. Most of ours were in the one pound range. Six feet tall vines seem to like sprawling. So early staking can help. Our plants did excellently in the hotter weather, and diseases were never a threat to them. Although it's primarily a sweet tomato, it has nice balance and texture. Perfect for sandwiches, good for bright colored sauces, great for cooking, stews and sweet yellow tomato stews! For chefs, this is a nice choice, as its beautiful exterior and eye-catching interior will light up any meal! Try some!

    5 Days. Lithuanian tomato is another new one that we grew in 2017. I am so happy that we did! Big pink beefsteaks literally beg you for two slices of bread, some basil, mayo and cheese. Unfortunately many of ours never make it that far. I eat tons of these right there in the garden. They grow on sprawling vines that need to be staked well. Lithuanian is very balanced and rich. Think true old time tomatoes!
  • 80 Days. Ljubitelskiy Rozovy tomato (Любительский Розовый) tomato is one of our personal favorites here on the farm. First grown in 2017, this is the perfect tomato. Seriously everything about this pink beauty is awesome! About 1 pound fruits are produced on regular leaf vines that refuse to stop producing. Fruits are so delicious I  could not stop eating them. Juicy, rich and balanced, with nice old time tomato flavor, this is the all purpose tomato that you want to grow as a main crop. It's not a fancy looking tomato but it is certainly one of the best for us here! Don't have a sandwich without this one!
  • Luchese Tomato

    Luchese Tomato is a serious beefsteak for serious tomato sandwich lovers. These are 1 pound and bigger fruits with intense tomato taste. That have a medium-firm texture and dense meat. Really nice aroma too. Ours began to ripen around 85 days after transplant and produced a good crop. Our largest was one pound and twelve ounces. Average weight was 12-16 ounces. Plants are tall and thick so much staking is required. One of our best beefsteaks in 2019, we will definitely be growing it again in 2020. If you are serious about tomato sandwiches, you must try this one!

    It's amazing how beautiful this variety is. Marzipan Gold tomato is eye-catching inside and out. Close to one pound fruits shine in the sun, displaying colors of pinks, yellows and golds. When sliced, they totally come alive with aroma that makes you want to eat them all. Nice texture, sweet, juicy, fruity and satisfying. Very little tang. These look beautiful when sliced on a plate.     Heavy producers of big red beefsteaks is what you will get when you plant Myra's Giant tomato vines. In 2019, these were among the biggest producers for us. We harvested so many that we literally made tons and tons of sauce after seeding them. Big beefsteaks can reach two pounds, have sweet and tangy flavor that creates a perfect balance.   • Original Italian tomato is a very meaty variety that will do great for sandwiches, sauces and fresh eating. It's a real old fashion heirloom variety for which I was gifted seeds by an acquaintance. I am so that I grew these out in 2018, because it was one of my favorite sandwiches tomatoes this year. Larger fruits are pleasantly pink on the outside and a very deep pink inside when fully ripened. I recommend this tomato for anyone's sandwiches. Meaty, dense, flavorful and well balanced, is how I will describe it. Vines are between 6 and 8 feet tall and produce many nice sized, beefsteak fruits. Expect first ripened fruits about 80 days after transplant. Stake well!

    Pepe Jose tomato is a rare, large variety that caught me by surprise this year! In 2020 I had many of these that reached 2 pounds and more! When these started coming on, I was surprised how much they produced for such large fruits. Seeds were shared with me by my friend Terry at Secret Seed Cartel in France! These gorgeous fruits are relatively crack free. Taste is really old fashioned, balanced, with very nice texture. Sandwich ready! Plants were 6 feet and taller and produced all season. You would love these if you love growing huge tomatoes! Making a return in our garden next year! Recommended!
  • Texas Star Tomato

    Texas Star tomato is a big beautiful bi-color variety with very pleasing taste. I especially like its fruity undertones. Large plants produce 1-2 pound, sweet fruits that remind me of the Caribbean. These were some of the last to remain in the garden as it got colder. Texture is superb! Great sandwich or garnish tomato. Great for fresh salsa. Add some chopped mango, cilantro, garlic, a pinch of lime juice, chopped onions and let it sit for about 20 minutes before you devour the entire thing in one minute. Whatever you choose to do with Texas Star tomato, it's certainly a worthy grow!
  • Looking for a producer of big pink beefsteaks with superb flavor? Try Todd County Amish tomato. Large potato leafed plants produce big crops of desirable fruits. These are perfect sandwich makers. Taste is very old fashioned. Superb aroma when fully ripened. Not very seedy. You can expect your first ripened fruits about 80 days after transplant. I found my plants to be good with diseases, with no signs of early or late blight. One of my new favorites! Steak these well!
  • West Virginia Sweetmeat Tomato

    West Virginia Sweetmeat tomato is an Amish variety that can easily reach 2.5 pounds. In fact, about 10% of earlier fruits reached and surpassed that mark. A few were 3 pounds or more! Healthy, regular leafed plants, are hard working and produce quite nicely, though not prolific. Production was very pleasing and nonstop until season's end. The flavor is sweet, very rich and delicious. Texture was also very good. Plants MUST be staked properly, with some extra support for individual fruits where needed. Expect your first ripened fruit out 80 days after transplant. A great choice for sandwiches and so much more! If you love them huge with good flavor, this one's for you!  
  • Whetstone Wonder tomato is a huge, sweeter beefsteak that you will fall in love with. Tomatoes can easily reach 2 pounds. I was given these seeds by a family in Indiana USA who stated that it had been grown for years by a great aunt. The way the story was told to me, it seemed that Whetstone had been in that family for more than 75 years. I'm supposed to get more info in this one soon. Whetstone Wonder is also very meaty and aromatic when fully ripened. Plants need early staking with regular revisions. One slice will cover your sandwich bread twice over! Recommended!
