Okras are a favorite of many people all over the world. Like Tomatoes they All have their individual flavors and taste. Okras are usually very easy to grow. They require minimal care. Unless you are growing for seeds, it’s best to harvest within one week after emerging from bloom. Older okras can be pretty tough to chew and consume. Many delicious dishes can be made with okras. Some of my favorites are okra soup, fried okras and gumbo of all different types. I also love fried okra sautéed with garden greens such as kale or Pak Choy. We are working on our inventory so come back soon to see out latest additions.
