• Spudatula Black Tomato

    $2.75$3.75
Spudatula Black Tomato is another great tasting variety. Its taste is earthy, with nice old tomato flavor. Slices very nice for sandwiches. My plants were potato leafed, about 5 feet tall and prolific. Our first fruits began to ripen about 75 days after transplant. As far s disease, potato leafed varieties always do better for me, so this one stood up well to the conditions, and even through weeks of heavy rain and even more weeks of intense heat and humidity. I am definitely growing this one again. Nice smooth texture for slicing. I love it!
  • 85 Days. I acquired Starburst Nebula tomato from my friend Yanny in Europe. It is a very beautifu bi-colorl fruit that can reach 1 pound. Fruits are a pretty canary yellow with very distinct pink sunburst vertical patterns. This is a very visually appealing tomato. What's more, it is very tasty! When sliced, pale yellows are marbled with tender pinks, encouraging you to bite in! Vines are 4-5 feet tall, like to sprawl and hardy. Good Production! You should see your first ripened fruits in 85 days from transplant.
  • Tar Tops tomato is a member of the anthocyanin family. It was one of the most complimented tomatoes on the farm this year by visitors. Everyone who tasted it, had great things to say about it. Tar Tops has smooth flesh, is definitely fruity and juicy with good tomato balance. I am definitely growing this again. Its vines are tall and work hard to complete their jobs. No diseases were recorded for this one. A great little slicer, snacker, salsa tomato and an eye-catcher at the farmer's market! About 75 days.
  • Tasmanian Chocolate dwarf tomato is a full flavored and beautiful fruit. They grow on plants that are about 3.5 feet tall. These will perform well in buckets or in the ground. Plants produce plenty, light chocolate colored fruits that can reach 12 ounces. Take a bite and you will discover a really juicy fruit that has a bit of earthiness to it. Plants quickly become top heavy so some staking may be necessary. You can expect your first ripened fruits around the 80 day mark. Try some of these in your garden and get ready for a bountiful harvest!
  • True Black Brandywine Tomato

One of my new favorites, I first grew True Black Brandywine tomato in 2020. Because it carries the Brandywine name, I expect it to be excellent, and it was! The 5 feet tall, potato plants,  produced a nice amount of 10 ounce, deep brown fruits. They were pretty and mostly blemished free. Aroma on fully ripened fruits were fantastic. I made some awesome fresh salsa with these! I also made some super tomato sandwiches with True Black Brandywine.  If you are seeking a hardy, easy to handle, delicious variety, please check these out!
  • Varsovia Tomato

    $2.75$3.75
Varsovia is a dark purple tomato that originates in Poland. Seeds were given to my friend Terry at Secret Seed Cartel in France, she then shared some with me. I grew them out in 2021. This variety has tremendous appeal and is a very beautiful fruit when fully ripened. You'll definitely be able to differentiate between other purples/blacks because it's one of the darkest fruits. Plants produce plentifully and fruits begin ripening around mid-season. Very eye pleasing variety that has a rich, earthy taste that is complete. Try these, you'll love them.
  • Vorlon Tomato

    $2.50$3.50

    Vorlon Tomato

If you are a lover of black tomatoes or if you have never tasted one, Vorlon tomato would be a good one to try. We grew if for the first time in 2017 and plan on growing it again from now on! Vorlon is a well balanced tomato with softish flesh that melts in your mouth. It reminds me of Nairobi Nights just not as intense. I have seen some that were close to 1 pound but the average size is closer to 10 ounces. Vines have potato leaves, are a bit sprawling, and prolific. This is a great tomato for sandwiches, salsas, and fresh eating off of the vine. 80 days.
