• Monomakh's Hat is the ideal oxheart tomato. Producing larger, baby pink, fruits that can reach 1 pound, this awesome variety is certainly worth its keep. We have grown it for the last three years because we can't do without them. Vines are tall and skinny so get your stakes ready. You should see your first ripened fruits around the 85 day mark. A wonderful sandwich and slicing tomato. Perfect for sauces and sliced in salads. Full of sweet meat!
  • In mid-May, I planted Mortgage Lifter Bi-Color tomato in my garden and then forgot all about it. Around the first week of August, I noticed these beautiful, huge tomatoes on  big vines and didn't know what they were. I looked at the tags and my garden map and verified that they were Mortgage Lifter Bi-Color. This is a very sweet tomato, even sweeter than Pineapple or Gold Medal. It has nicely textured flesh and pleasant aroma, when fully ripened. Our biggest fruits were about 1.5 pounds. Plants are not prolific but they produce plenty for such a large tomato. Perfect for sandwiches, garnish, cooking market sales and more!

  • Moses Tomato

    $2.75$3.50

    Moses Tomato

Moses Tomato is an exceptionally nice variety. Boasting a full flavored, old fashioned and sweeter taste, I happen to think it's the perfect compliment for a tomato sandwich. Indeterminate, vibrant plants have potato leaves. They produce amply, so you will have plenty of fruits. Ours started ripening just after mid-season. Plants also demonstrated good disease resistance, which I liked. Expect fruits up to 0ne pound. This 60 year old variety is a Kentucky heirloom that was first introduced by Dr. Moses of Williamsburg Kentucky.
  • Mother’s Love Tomato

    $2.50$3.50
Mother's Love is easily one of the top ten tomatoes that I grew in 2017. This tomato has everything that you hope for in a good tomato. Fruits ripen in about 85 days and can be up to 1.5 pounds. Most are around the 1 pound mark. Mother's Love tomato reminds me of Dester, which to me is one of the better tomatoes that I have ever tasted. That's how good this tomato is. It is meaty, juicy, medium-firm, clean, sweet, and tons more. I just love slicing them for picture taking! Vines are around 6 feet tall and produce from early summer until frost snuffs the life out of them. Until then, they'll produce outstanding fruits that are perfect for sandwiches, sauces, salsas, eating off the vine, and anything you could possibly imagine. They are also one of my favorites for fried green tomatoes. You should not have a garden without these.
  • Moya Noire Tomato

    $2.50$3.50
Moya Noire tomato is a large, black variety that has good flavor.  Said to be a cross between Moya and Paul Robeson, this was one of my favorites in 2018. The pictures below don't really do this tomato any justice, but I feel that this is one of the best tomatoes that I have grown out in the last two seasons. Even when it's not fully ripened it packs good flavor. Our largest fruits weighed around 1.3 lbs and the smaller ones were about 8-10. If you need a really nice sandwich tomato that makes good sauce too, this is it!, Very pretty on a platter
  • Moya Tomato

    $2.50$3.00
80 Days. Moya tomato is a larger, slicer variety that originated in Spain. It's vines are large, vigorous. They produce plenty of really nice sized fruits! Moya reminds me of the good old-time flavored varieties that were rich, delicious and noted for plenty of great complimentary flavors. I have made some great tomato sauce with these. I even made some super stewed tomatoes for canning. We cooked up excellent salsa too! Plants are big and vibrant. They need staking, even as early as at transplant time.  Moya is a good selection for market sales because of  its good taste, texture and production. Definitely worth growing!
  • Mr Underwood Tomato

    $2.50$3.50
85-90 Days. Mr Underwood Tomato is above par! I truly wish that more people would grow this awesome tomato! My aim is to bring more exposure, not just to this variety, but to all great, undiscovered heirlooms that need highlighting. This large and juicy beefsteak is so delicious that you will bite your fingers. Try a few and see for yourself. Fruits regularly approach 1.5 pounds, so stake plants well.
  • Mrs Benson Tomato

    $2.75$3.75
What a ride I had growing Mrs Benson tomato! Easily one of the most memorable varieties in 2021. Potato leafed plants were huge producers of one pound fruits, a few were larger. This gem could easily be a main crop for vendors. As far as taste, Mrs Benson didn't disappoint. We sliced many of ours, only to experience a full flavored tomato with very nice texture and aroma when fully ripened. This tomato left nothing to be desired. Balanced and inviting! Totally worth re-growing, and I will in 2022! A must try! Highly Recommended!
  • Mrs Maxwell's Big Italian tomato is a large, deep pink, meaty variety, that packs nice tomato flavor.Let it ripen well and you will be rewarded. I have regretted only growing out only three plants in my first grout-outs, but they will be back in 2019. For me, this was a memorable tomato because it was tasty, productive and had hardy vines that produced multi-purposed fruits. I had these cooked, stewed, sauced, as fried green tomatoes, sold some at the market, ate them in the garden, gazpacho, you name it, I did it. I ended up not saving many seeds. It's all good though. I saved enough to share a few! Grow these out if you like good tomatoes!
  • Myra’s Giant Tomato

    $2.50$3.50

    Myra's Giant Tomato

Heavy producers of big red beefsteaks is what you will get when you plant Myra's Giant tomato vines. In 2019, these were among the biggest producers for us. Very nice texture that seems custom made for sandwiches. These may make great market tomatoes too! They are blemish free and eye catching. Enough to bring customers back to your booth. • I have been wanting to grow Neves Azorean Red tomato for several years. This year, 2018, I finally grew out 4 plants. What I got was a very special tomato. Neves Azoran Red is not your average red tomato. It could hang with the best of them! I would classify this, first as a sandwich and slicing tomato. But it is a lot more than that. I really love its texture. It has a smooth, rich finish, accompanied by some after-tones that I only describe as pleasing! Neves is a good tomato for market sales and sliced on platter presentation. Hardy vines produce plenty 10-18 ounce fruits!
  • Norcarlina Pink Tomato

    $2.75$3.75
Norcarlina Pink Tomato was discovered in 1999 at a local farmers market and seeds shared. Some have said that it was a renamed variety but at this time there is uncertainty about that. This large pink beefsteak is a delight. It is mild and sweeter with pink flesh with tempting aroma. Texture is also very good and this one is medium firm when ripened. As far as production, that is very good also, making it a god choice for market vendors, which is where it was discovered in the first place. Plants are about 5-6 feet tall and vibrant. They begin to ripen their fruits about 80 days after being transplanted in their final growing spot. These are perfect sandwich companions with really awesome flavor! The next move is yours!!

The reminded me of Yoder's German or Kellogg's Breakfast, two really good yellow varieties. Plenty meat on this beefsteak. Even though its name suggests heart shaped, it's not an oxheart. A really god tomato, especially for sandwiches!
