Raspbery Oxheart Tomato

Raspberry Oxheart is another one in the long and delicious line of oxhearts that we grow.  It is not a particularly large fruit, but it’s not a small tomato either.  Nonetheless,  its taste makes up for its lack of huge size.  It’s a really willing plant that seems to love both cooler and hotter temperatures.

Raspberry Oxheart Tomato Vines

Raspberry Oxheart vines are not too tall, perhaps 5 feet, but they are surely prolific.  Vines are also prolific and produce a ton of 6-8 ounce fruits that are delicious to the bone. Vines are wispy leaved and vigorous.  Ironically, this tomato is not a super sauce maker like many of our oxheart varieties.  In fact it has a totally different texture to the great sauce makers such as Curtis Cheek, Goatbag, Heart Of Ashgabat and even Hungarian Heart.  This tomato is firmer and quite juicier too!

Raspberry Oxheart Tomato Taste

Raspberry Oxheart tomato is a very balanced tomato with both sweets and tang in the forefront.  It has a bit of a firmer base and would be a super good tomato for salsa, fresh eating, drying and diced up in salads.  If you are daring, give this unique little oxheart a try.  It may please you!  Seeds freshly packed just for you!
