Orange Jazz Tomato

Orange Jazz Tomato

In the fall of 2015 I was gifted some seeds for Orange Jazz tomato by Fred Hempel of Artisan Seeds.  I grew one plant and sent a few for a friend to grow out for me.  What we got were some of the biggest and most beautiful fruits that tasted great!

Orange Jazz Tomato Vines

My Orange Jazz tomato vines were thick, vigorous and produced a nice crop of 12-18 ounce tomatoes.  My friend’s vines produced even bigger fruits.  In fact she claimed that this was her favorite variety for the season.  My plant showed good disease resistance and was very healthy all season long.  Orange Jazz definitely needs to be well staked for a perfect harvest.  I guarantee that this variety will produce some of the largest fruit in your garden.

Orange Jazz Tomato Taste

Orange Jazz  tomato is on the sweet and unique side.  It has hints of peach and perhaps another fruit that I am yet to put my taste buds on.  To add to that, this huge beefsteak smells fantastic when well ripened.  This is the perfect sandwich tomato.  Invite a friend over and share some slices for the experience of your life.  I am definitely growing this tomato again.  This time it will be in much larger quantities.  You must give Orange Jazz a try!
