Nature’s Riddle Tomato

Nature’s Riddle Tomato

Nature’s Riddle tomato is a wonderful tasting fruit that when well ripened, is also very beautiful. We grew these for the first time in 2016 and I am happy that we did.  When at the height of their ripening they are a true blessing to the eyes.  Nature’s Riddle is truly a great name for this cultivar!

Nature’s Riddle Tomato Vines

Nature’s Riddle tomato vines are big and sprawling.  They produce a nice crop of beautiful bi-color tomatoes that show the most beautiful pink blush that you will ever see.  They average about one pound. Vines are thick and vigorous, producing plenty of suckers.  Tomatoes grow in clusters of 2-4, so be sure to stake your vines properly.  Our vines did excellently all through the season and showed good disease resistance.  You can expect fruits to begin ripening around 85-90 days after transplant.  Our vines were still doing well in Mid-October.

Nature’s Riddle Tomato Taste

If you like mild and sweet you are going to love Nature’s Riddle tomato.  In some ways it reminds me of Gold Medal in taste but not texture.  Nature’s Riddle is a bit softer but just as juicy.  It is a great tomato for sauce, cooking, does well on sandwiches and of course great for fresh eating.
