Green Tiger Tomato

Green Tiger Tomato

Green Tiger tomato was another new variety for us in 2016.  We planted these a bit later in the season as our second crop and they did excellently!  We had a nice crop of little greenies all through the season.

Green Tiger Tomato Plants

Green Tiger tomato plants are not too tall, they max out at around 4 feet but can be shorter.  This makes them good candidates for container growing.  They produce very beautiful and elongated 2 inch tomatoes that are about 1-1.5 inches in diameter.  Added to this, there are tender green striplings that so gently rub up against an enticing yellow, which  enhances this gem’s overall appearance and turns it even more so into an eye-catcher!  But looks are just half of Green Tiger’s appeal.  Its taste is where it really gets you…

Green Tiger Tomato Taste

Green Tiger tomatoes are fantastic.  They are sweet and tart to perfection and make the perfect snacking tomato while in the garden.  They are right in line with Blush and Favorie De Britagne, but not as intense as either.  Green Tiger will be a good tomato for some really good salsa, garnishing, fresh eating and in salads.  This is a very good little tomato that you should definitely try!
