Goose Egg Tomato

Goose Egg Tomato

Goose Egg tomato is a small oxheart variety that you will totally enjoy.  When I first planted this variety, honestly I sort of ignored the plants until they started ripening.  Once I tasted the fruit, I was very impressed.  Then and only then did I start weeding and properly staking…lol!!

Goose Egg Tomato Plants

Goose Egg tomato vines are  average height.  None of our vines grew to more than 5 feet.  Plants produce a nice amount of 4-6 ounce heart shaped tomato that reminds me of Anna Russian in taste.  Vines are wispy leafed and vigorous, having many suckers.  It’s an indeterminate plant so stake it well and you will have a lot of great tomatoes all season long!

Goose Egg Tomato Taste

Goose Egg tomatoes are very delicious and sweet with a little acidity.  You can do a lot with this tomato. It’s juicy, soft and meaty, making it the perfect fruit for fresh eating, sauce, salsa and even cooking or stewing.  This would also be a great tomato for sweet and fresh tomato juice.  Try drying some too, you will enjoy the results.  Our seeds are freshly packed just for your garden!!
