Dwarf Beauty King Tomato

Dwarf Beauty King Tomato

Dwarf Beauty King Tomato

Perhaps one of the most interesting dwarf varieties, Dwarf Beauty King tomato is a real pleasure to grow. I grew it for the first time in 2017 and will be growing it again every year, for sure!

Dwarf Beauty King Tomato Vines

Dwarf Beauty King vines are about 3.5 feet tall when it is finished growing. It bears nice clusters of 3-5 fruits that can weigh anywhere from 5 ounces to 1 pound. The average size of its fruits is about 8-10 ounces. Fruits begin to ripen about 75 days after transplant and continue fruiting through the growing season.  Plants show relatively good disease resistance. I sprayed with copper sulfate before fruiting began, and again about two weeks after first fruits set.  Some staking is recommended.

Dwarf Beauty King Taste

Dwarf Beauty King tomato is very tasty and rich. It has a good balance of sweet and tart. It also has a nice amount of  juice. This is a great tomato for slicing, sandwiches, fresh eating, garnishing and even sauces. Growing such a good tasting tomato on a short vine, is really having the best of two worlds.
