Brad’s Black Heart Tomato

Heirloom Tomatoes

Brad’s Black Heart Tomato

Unique in it’s own way, Brad’s Black Heart tomato is a very interesting fruit. What’s more, it is also a fine tasting fruit that definitely will find it’s way in my garden again.

Brad’s Black Heart Tomato Vines

Brad’s Black Heart tomato vines are indeterminate and grow to about 6-7 feet tall. They are very prolific and hardy. They produce heavy crops of perfect, to blunt, heart shaped tomatoes that are a nice light chocolate brown color. Fruits sizes can vary. Some of mine were close to 1 pound but most were about 8-12 ounces.

About Taste

This tomato has a rich and sort of fruity taste. It’s medium juicy and its flesh is soft, but not overly so. There is also a nice bit os sweetness too. All in all it’s a very good tomato that caught me by surprise. It’s totally worth growing and you should try it.
