Boar’s Tooth Tomato

How do you like your sauce salsa? If you like them delicious then Boar’s Tooth tomato may peak your interest! This variety is right in line with the elongated varieties, that are noted for making great sauce and paste.

Boar’s Tooth Tomato vines are very generous producers of beautiful, elongated, bi-color fruits that bears in clusters or 5-7 and begin to ripen about 85 days after transplant. Plants have wispy leaves  that sometimes seem lifeless, especially in the hotter months. Don’t let that fool you though, you are about to be blessed with tons of  very tasty tomatoes! It’s is very productive.

Boar’s Tooth is a full flavored tomato. Mine were on the sweet side and rather rich. It’s soft and juicy. It also has a very high aroma when sliced. Perfect for fresh eating, salsa, sauces and canning too.
