Black And Brown Boar

Black And Brown Boar Tomato

Black And Brown Boar

Black And Brown Boar is a wonderful tomato that I feel should be grown by every gardener, especially those who have very little garden space.  This pretty tomato is is said to be related to Green Zebra and just like Zebra, it is a relentless worker that will fill your garden with dark chocolate, green striped tomatoes.

Black And Brown Boar Vines

An indeterminate variety, Black And Brown Boar tomato vines are vigorous and and somewhat early, clocking in at about 70 days after transplant.  Vines are sprawling and produce a huge amount of lobed, 3-6 ounce tomatoes.  Some fruits are more round and do not have a lobe.  Two vines of Black And Brown Boar could easily be enough flavorful goodness for an average family.

Black And Brown Boar Taste

Black and Brown Boar tomatoes are earthy, full flavored and full of juice.  I just love them in fresh salsa. I have never made sauce with them, but I suspect that they will be great for that also. Try some in a fresh salad too!  Don’t forget to eat some right off of the vine.
